I bring my 7 year old to Derek's for a hair cut. Derek is the only one who can tame the beast of a cowlick my grandson was born with. ;) The atmosphere is so comfy and interesting, and you can't beat the prices! I am never disappointed in the service there.

It was refreshing to see a humble Caring honest business Owner Who Actually knows T cares about his Community Succeeding & giving back to his Community as Well & being A good role model for youth, teens & Young adults I will be back in a couple weeks or work & will definitly be back for a hair but!

Derek is an excellent barber with high skill levels and attention to details of sanitation and service. I have stopped at many barbershops over the years without seeing the attention to sanitation or comfort of his customers/guests. I note he he does extremely well with children which is an unusual skill in itself as well as being a rare thing nowadays. He is exceptionally easy to get along with and keeps a schedule for his ability to perform at his highest level and for you to get the service you want, of course, your way. I think the easiest barber experience 1. Show up at your appointment on time get a professional haircut and still keep your own schedule intact. 2. Enjoy the experience in a pleasant clean environment with comfy chairs. wifi and TV. 3. Walk out the door looking sharp without minimal effort on your part which is what we used to call "Service"!

Great, decently priced haircuts. More towards the male-side of haircuts but cant knock it until you try it. Definitely will be a consistent customer and recommend this business. Only inconvenience is they dont take cards, luckily there is an ATM directly across the street.

When i was new in town someone recommended i try derek's. Its definately the kind of place i was looking for. Its an old school kinda guy's place. Derek does a great job and remembers things you talked about before. I have taken 2 of my friends there now for cuts. I love the fact hes a local family man, and that its not a chain. I highly recommend him.

Took my 21 month old son today for his second haircut here. We are new to the area and read this place had great reviews and did children’s cuts so we thought we would give it a try. The cut itself is absolutely horrible. Super uneven and not blended whatsoever. Looks like I took a pair of kitchen scissors to his hair. We are very disappointed in the haircut we received. If they don’t feel comfortable cutting young kids hair then they shouldn’t offer this service. I will not ever recommend this place to people with young children.
