David is a good guy. He's professional and easy-going. He does good haircuts for a low price. He is sometimes a little bit "rough", but it's nothing much at all. He takes care, and doesn't stop until he knows for sure that he has done a good job. With COVID-19, he ensures that his equipment and workspaces are clean and sanitized before others come in. Great haircuts, great value, great overall.

Love this place! I’ve been going here for 5 years now and every time I get my hair dyed I get tons of compliments and questions about where I got it done! Maggie is amazing at hair and knows how to dye without killing my hair. Even had someone ask me if I got my hair done by her because she does it in such a signature way ????

Worst experience ever, me and my sister got hair straighting done. He called both of us togather, we were drying our own hair etc. It took us 9 hour. I got 80% result and my sister only got 50%. We went back to him because it was a lot of money, but he said result don't show on some hair.I recommend everyone not to go there especially for hair rebonding.

David is an expert at his craft. He has so many years of experience, and it really shows. When he works, you can tell he is considering how the hair moves and flows as you wear it, and he has a level of precision I have never seen before. After going to another (more expensive) hair salon (you know, the type that is very sleek and instagram friendly) at the other end of 8th street and being really disappointed with the results and the cost, I went to David and he absolutely saved my hair. It looks great, I'm so proud of it, and I really feel like a whole new beautiful person. He takes so much pride in his work, and it really shows in the end result. Definitely going again!

There is always a line up to see him and I take it as a sign of how loyal his clients are to him. If you are looking for a quality haircut and shampoo for less than $22 and look as if you have paid $60, David and only David is the right person for you.

Had a hair chemical straightening done and the result was not good. Called to complain that hair is still wavy after first wash (3&1/2 days after the procedure). Was told that hair cannot be completely straight 100% because hair was too curly. After 2nd wash, hair becomes more wavy. Seems that chemicals were washed away whenever shampooed. So not happy with the result. Waste of money. :( they wont redo my hair. Hair is straightened only 60%. Procedure took only 4hrs as opposed to 6hrs normally. Shortcut? I will not recommend hair straightening from this salon. Not going back for any services from them, neither give referrals. Now searching for other salon that offers expertise in chemical straightening.

David has been my hairdresser for over 20 years and many of my friends have their hair done by David as well. I'll see David until he retires, and hope that is many years in the future! He does quality work for a very reasonable price. The other stylists in his salon all have a large pool of regular customers. Definitely 5 ????

I can't believe I have been living near by for so long and today was my first time going there and I got to meet Dave himself. I showed him a picture of how I last had my haircut elsewhere, and he said, "Oh we can do better than that" in a really nice way. And yes, he delivered better than ever. They have a new lifetime customer now, I only wish I had gone there sooner! Tip this guy big because he works really hard and has mastered his craft.
