Got a full set of gel nails and the aesthetician made me feel extremely uncomfortable, like I was her problem the entire appointment. My nails looked terrible and I didn't want to tell her I didn't like them because she seemed really unhappy to have to talk to me. I called in 20 mins after leaving and said I'd like someone to fix my nails or I'd like them taken off, that I was sorry but I paid $90 for them and I couldn't just let it go. They proceeded to put her on the phone with me (the woman I complained about) and had her ask me "WHATS UP?". So insanely uncomfortable and she was extremely rude. Terrible experience overall. They set me up 3 days later to get my nails fixed and the other lady did a decent job fixing them but didn't completely redo them so I mean they are what they are. It was also very obvious she had bad mouthed me to everyone working there. I'll never go back.

So I've been to this location in the past and loved it, recently decided to go again. BOY do I regret it. :( I've always went to a salon to get my hair done, I have dark hair and I always go light. Its never been a problem for a hairdresser until this last visit. I asked for the same thing I always do, take me as light as one can and a trim off the bottom. This time (as well as last time I visited a salon) I asked for the front to have those solid chunks of color for my bangs. UNFORTUNATELY the 1st time I left my hair looked like someone did it out of a box at home, the top was did not look natural at all, color was soooo off it honestly looked like I did it at home :( I called and complained and they squeezed me in the next day to fix. UNFORTUNATELY the 2nd visit did not make ANY difference. The COLOR, THE TRIM is all so off Im sad I wasted my time and money going to this place and I would definitely not go again. Pictures down below: 1st one is before I went in. 2-4 are the ones I am left with. 5th is what any other hairdresser can do when I ask for the detailed above. Hairdresser: -5 stars even with a second attempt Hair Salon- 1 star for making a 2nd visit possible. Will give 5 stars if I got my money back.

Terrible customer service. Had an issue with my nails (They made my finger bleed and couldnt even get colour on my whole nail or make the length even) and was basically told there's nothing they can do and the person I spoke to on the phone (kelsey) was very snobby and rude and apparently there's no managers available and they have no idea when their manager will be in. Completely unprofessional especially because I was a recurring customer. Guarantee I won't be going back ever again and I highly suggest that if you want good nails done you go somewhere else they charge $90 + and can't even own up and fix nails when they make a mistake and then get super rude when you even mention that something was wrong. Congrats sunsera you just lost a good customer ????

I would put 3.5 but it won't let me. I come here for tanning. When I walked in it was quiet and clean, the girl that greeted me was extremely nice and friendly. The woman that was sitting at the desk on the other hand looked like she hated the fact she had to be at work, did not greet me or even acknowledge that I was there. My tan was amazing the super lay down in room 9 is exceptional though I dont think the face tanner on the left side is working. But other then that it was great. The bed closes completely so uu are basically in a Capsule of light during your whole tan which is Great because it tans your sides so you dont have a strip down either side that's white. Upon leaving, no one asked how my tan was or said goodbye like at most other places. And the two women at the front where playing on their phones.

I had my brows microbladed and went back for my touch up yesterday..the technician Amanda is extremely professional in her conduct..her knowledge of the technique is top notch.. I guarantee as a first time customer of hers that I have placed all my trust in her to do my brows...I had them done before from another technician in saskatoon and there is no comparison to the quality of workmanship and expertise I experienced between the two treatments..I highly recommend if you are considering microblading to contact Amanda at Sunsera Salon on Gray Avenue, Saskatoon..you will not be disappointed ????????

Yesterday i got my eyebrows waxed. They lifted my skin and burned my skin. I have been trying to help it so it won’t scab but nothing will work. I am so horrified with how they could do this. I have gotten my eyebrows waxed before and never ever had this done to me. They say all of their services aren’t harm free and safe but it is NOT true at all. I have no idea when this will heal and extremely mad at the women who did this. Please DO NOT EVER get your eyebrows done here.

I recently visited Sunsera, May 29th to be exact for my 6 week follow up appointment . Tamara took care of me and I have to tell you she is the absolute best !!! She did my eyebrows perfectly ! The initial results from my first visit were exceptional ! I had no scabbing or any kind of irritation and they lightened up beautifully ! Tamara is very diligent in getting it right and pleasing her clients ! She is such a lovely person. I experienced NO pain or discomfort on both visits and I am extremely pleased with the results! I would highly recommend Tamara ! She’s the best ! The overall atmosphere at Sunsera is extremely pleasant and I felt very comfortable there . The staff at the front are very nice and warm . Both my experiences have been the absolute best ! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience ! Thank you so much Tamara ! You should consider giving this beautiful person a raise or a bonus of some kind !

Went for a shellac manicure and pedicure.. I got the groupon price so I didn't pay too much which is nice, however I feel like my nails did not turn out well. My cuticle was painted over on many nails, the polish didn't quite go to the end of my nail. Near the end of the service the staff got a little more friendly. When I first walked in I felt totally judged, nobody would look at me or seemed to want to talk to me. Overall pretty poor experience.

My boyfriend bought me a groupon to get Lazer hair removal and because of my allergies I'm unable to have the laser hair removal done . They let me use the amount he paid towards services at there salon ! Great place and definitely going back , already booked my next appointment.!

Had an amazing first experience with Amanda. Second time for microblading. She was very friendl and professional. Very knowledgable in the different techniques of permanent makeup. Even after doing my research before booking i was still anxious in getting semi permanent makeup. My eyebrows are freaking amazing!! Could not have asked for a better outcome!! I would DEFINITELY recommend Sunsera on Gray ave for all your hair and esthetics needs! I bought a laser package and have just finished my 6th treatment and the results are AMAZING!! Amanda is very thorough and detail oriented and did an awesome job! Money well spent. It's safe to say I'm addicted to laser and will be purchasing more packages to continue with laser hair removal! :)

I had one of the best experiences with customer service with Colleen at this Sunsera location. She helped us figure out a mix-up with Groupons that we had purchased in order for my Mom, sister and myself to be able to get mani/pedis together. Unfortunately, an unforeseen event occurred and my Mom and I needed to leave the city early. We were fully expecting to pay for the services even though we were unable to attend and were only able to give a few hours notice. Colleen was extremely accommodating and allowed us to keep our Groupon for another time. While we did not end up getting our mani/pedi I look forward to booking at this Sunsera location in the future. Colleen truly went above and beyond for us!

Had pedicure. Good service, nice salon, have massage chairs for you to sit in - which are wonderful! Price at 70 dollars but worth it. Plus they let you keep the polish for touch ups. Nails haven't chipped so good polish. I will go back.

Her attention to detail and the quality of my service was definitely one of the best spa experiences I have had! I had my eyebrows microbladed here by Amanda and she did amazing! I was hesitant and scared of the process but she talked me through the whole procedure and was super knowledgeable. The whole spa was super clean and everyone was so friendly I felt welcomed and as if they were grateful to have me there as a client. I had no eyebrow on the right side due to scarring from an accident and now when I look at them I feel confident and love my brows! I will be going back to treat myself to other services here! The girls at this location are amazing! We booked a group of four pedicures and manicures for my birthday and they went above and beyond! Great to talk to, amazing customer service, the massage chairs are awesome and the best foot massage I've ever experienced! 5 Stars to Sunsera Gray! I would definitely recommend to my friends and family or anyone else looking for a stellar pedicure!! Thanks girls we will be back!

Rude man at front desk. Used to have friendly girls here greet me. Wife and I tan here religiously and walk in three times in one week to see guy not wearing mask not following rule makes me question if I want to go back as daughter is immunocompromised. Ignored us when we went to front desk as he was busy with chatting and had headphones on. This location was my last chance for sunsera to change my mind about their staff we always had bad experiences at the other location. Like the girls here, beautiful salon, always clean here but this guy doesn't have any customer service skills and isn't someone we want to be greeted by if we are going to be ignored. After being loyal sunsera clients for a long time I have to say I'm a little annoyed that this is happening i don't want to have to take my business elsewhere will see what happens in near future

Absolutely worst customer service I have ever experienced in the entire service-related industry in Saskatoon - it baffles me how this place remains open as clearly the reviews get worse as time goes on. I am a spa-junkie and pay for approximately 2 services per a week at various places throughout the city (for the past 20+ years) - I have never been as disappointed as I have been with Sunsera on Gray. After being loyal customers for 6 years, a staff member cancelled my husband's 10 minute hair appointment (made December 3rd for December 21st) and slotted someone else in. They accused me of cancelling it 3 days prior and then showing up for it. They would not tell us which staff member cancelled it despite having that info available to them. They would not provide the haircut even though the new appointment they booked had not shown up yet. We were told to come back at 6:00PM, we asked for 6:30PM but were told no because the stylist had been there all day and wanted to go home. I waited until after the Christmas season and called to ask for an explanation and an apology as their mistake interfered with our evening plans. I was told by Coleen that "these things happen anywhere you go" to which I disagreed - you would never see something like this at JFY or Beverley Ashdowne without it being rectified. Colleen continued to be unconcerned and inattentive so I asked to speak with the owner April Hanna as it was beyond me that an owner would tolerate the lack of professionalism we were shown thus far. I was advised of a few things about April: 1) she's hardly ever there, staff don't know if or when she will show up, they are not allowed to give out her contact information and "she doesn't really concern herself with these matters". I asked who the Manager was and was told they did not have one. I asked for April to return my call but as expected, I never heard from her. I could not locate any contact information for her online so I contacted a listing referred to as "Sunsera Corporate". I spoke with a pleasant man who stated that he owned the other locations in Saskatoon. I advised him of my continued horrible experience with the Gray Avenue location and he was as disappointed as I was noting "it's not like their busy" and that April was likely not getting my messages. He stated he would pass my message to April and she would return my call within 2 days - again, I never heard from her. Needless to say we will never return - not because of the cancelled appointment, but because of the complete lack of regard for the customers that keep them open. Save your money and go have a luxury service at JFY or Beverley Ashdowne where it is appreciated and the owners care about their businesses and contact you immediately and personally for anything. Unfortunately, google forces me to give this place a star in order to leave a comment - otherwise I would not.

I went there today and was excited to get my nails done. At first I was basically told I wasnt able to have long nails because of how short my original nails were. I had never had an issue before in the past with long nails but I agreed and got shorter ones. I had asked for cofffin shape and wasn't given that shape at all. I think she did not know the shape or was a new nail tech but she left my nails uneven. And was trying to use not enough product product she could so because of that she had to redo my thumb three to four times with more gel because she wasn't putting enough on. After that she didnt do the best job painting my nails because it is very splotchy and the sides of my nails weren't painted.... so after that I didn't want to be rude so I paid and left. after coming home and seeing the nails in true lighting I could see how splotchy and uneven they were. I tried calling back to talk to a manager and receieved attuitude from the receptionist because I wanted to see if the manager were able to call me before I leave the city because I don't even live in Saskatoon. As a paying customer that comes here out of town I feel like I deserve some respect especially when I still paid for my nails that weren't done correctly.
