I have been going to Scizzions for various hair and spa services for over 5 years now but this was my first visit back since before the pandemic. I received partial highlights and a cut from Lisa W. and to say I feel like a new woman is the understatement of the YEAR. I gave her a brief description of what I was looking for when I sat down and as usual she executed it perfectly. Regarding covid protocol, I could tell immediately that the entire staff are taking all health and safety measures incredibly seriously. Though the salon has always been pristine, they were sure to sanitize each area as people were coming and going and have even set up a cute seating area outside to avoid too many people indoors. I didn't have the pleasure of seeing the owner Gerri today but I wish I did just to tell her what a great job both she and the staff are doing. I will always recommend this spot when people are looking for new stylists, the people are amazing and I always leave happy. Run, don't walk...your hair will thank you!

My whole family gets their hair cut here - myself, my husband and our 2 year old. We usually see John and Jill. I'm always impressed with how well they listen to what you want and how perfect our cuts always are. They're friendly and the atmosphere is clean and welcoming. I'm particularly appreciative of how patient they are with our 2 year old (who has wild hair and needs it cut often!). Meaghan, the salon coordinator, is literally the sweetest, she makes sure to find the perfect appointment times for us, and is super understanding if we need to change them last minute. I can't recommend this team enough!

Scizzions is *the* best! I had tape-in hair extensions installed and I could never go back. They blended 24" extensions into my existing balayage so seamlessly you could never tell that I have extensions. Any time that I accidentally apply too much heat to the bond, they always manage to squeeze me in the same day to fix my mistake. I would never dream of going anywhere else!

Lisa cut my hair and did an excellent job! I came in with an unclear vision of exactly what I wanted, but I ended up with a perfect cut! Pretty good prices too and everyone was very friendly. Definitely recommend.

Alli constantly called in sick when I have had appts booked. Lack of childcare usually the issue. Incredibly frustrating and disappointing since I have been with her since hair dresser school but she doesnt seem to much care about her clients anymore. Will be looking for a new salon/hair dresser

I went to get my hair permanently straightened. I was told it would have to grow out as it was not the type of treatment that slowly washed out. However, 5 washes in (almost 1 month later) my hair is already getting wavy again and has to be straightened with a straightener. Now, I wouldn't mind except that it cost me close to $500... They get a 3 star rating because I like Jin Shoo as a hair dresser. She doesn't talk about nothing for hours on end. We had pleasant conversation and pleasant moments of quiet

They did nothing, I have grown out my hair for almost 4 years, so I have virgin hair and went to a different salon that lifted my hair colour from a 6-7 ( meaning light brown) to blonde, but they had no appointments for weeks so I tired this salon, I was told it would be a process to lift my hair to the platinum blonde I wanted but weren’t not willing to touch my hair even though it was silky soft and I know a few things cause my mother is a retired hair specialist so I am very dissatisfied and upset they wouldn’t even try to foil my hair to reach a blonder shade, don’t know if the man John with “20 years experience” didn’t feel like working with me or what but I have reached this in the past but he said it couldn’t be achieved...when ur spending 150$ or more u expect better experience. Will never ???? go back there and will be tell all my friends and social media not to either...sorry guys but mehhh 20 years experience or not I will be posting my hair once it’s at a level I wanted just to show u it can be done, cause I have done it before

Although I was very impressed with the results, I was in shock with the cost. I reviewed the website for prices and as a new client I was a little taken back when the cost was not discussed with me. It was almost $100 more than expected and that was without a hair cut. Some advice if you are considering this salon, discuss pricing after you have the consultation with the stylist. I did email them about my experience and did not receive a response. I will not be returning.

I have visited this salon since 2018. And refered a lots friend.I always looking for Jisoo. However, my friend and I had an appointment on Oct 21st 2021. When we reached there, Jisoo said we are late, so she refused to serve us. I told her, I have made two appointments, the first appointment is 3:30, we arrived at 3:35, so I agree, we late, it's our fault. But the other appointment is 3:45, we asked if we could cancel the first appointment, and continue the second one(my friend 's appointment)which we were not late. She tried to find another reason to refuse us. She said we made 15 minutes appointment, but she had to wash our hair balabala.... I have talked with her on wechat about the hair style I like to cut since the end of September and I have send back my appointment to her to confirm if it correct because this is the first time I use the online booking system. (She havent told us that we must washed our hair before visit, from previous visit experience I always washing my hair at salon .) After that my friend and I requested off on Oct 21st which was two weeks ago. Unfortunately we got rejected service. By the way, I clearly remember that I have waiting Jisoo did her previous customer's hairstyling around half an hour when I first time visit there on 2018. However she refused us bcz we were 5 minutes late on Oct 21st 2021. Additional, she said we could have another appointment, but we have to pay deposit( that's ridiculous). Overall, she is not professional and she wasted our time.

I went in to the salon wanting to get my hair coloured to look like "beach" hair. I showed Michaela pictures of what I meant by that, and right away she knew exactly what I wanted, right down to small details. The best part was how genuinely excited she was about the whole process. In the end, I'm super happy with how it turned out so thanks again Michaela! I will definitely be going back and have already recommended this salon to two other people :)

Great place to go! Friendly staff and reasonable prices! Update: brought stars down as it is very hard to get in. Which I guess means it's a popular place but still. You will need to book FAR in advance. I have tried twice now to book something but unless I go a week or more out I cannot get in during a time that works for me. So 1/3 visits have been good.

One time I showed them my bitmoji and said please cut it like this - and they did! Great prices too (especially for the kids). Scizzions are also great community supporters.

I’ve been going to this salon since I was a child. I think it’s been about 12 or more years now? Regardless, I absolutely love the staff here! Everyone is so kind and friendly and they will try to make you feel as if you’re part of their family. They’re accommodating and flexible and will follow up when needed. I’ve been seeing Alli for years and love her energy so much. She’s super honest and straight-up, will tell me when she knows something won’t work for my hair to spare me the cost, and is super open to fun, different ideas. My mom and sister also go to this salon, and I’m always quick to suggest this place to my friends. This salon cares about you and your hair/skin/nails!

Called Scizzions for an appointment as a new client, the receptionist was really friendly and answered all my questions. She was very kind and took the time to speak with me. When I came in the salon the atmosphere was nice and everyone seemed really friendly. My stylist Lisa was exceptional, she explained everything to me, and the process of my colour and products she used. My Hair looks fabulous, I had Highlights and Haircut. I have been getting lots of compliments. I would highly recommend this salon for any Colour or Hair Service.

It cost me $70 for a simple bob haircut which was not even worth 20 bucks. The poor quality was hidden with curls and hair spray. After washing my hair at home the next day, I was shocked seeing all the "stairstep layers". My friends thought I cut my hair myself at home. The WORST HAIRCUT I'VE EVER HAD.

I LOVE Scizzions! Geri is the first hairdresser that has known what to do with my hair. I have baby fine and very thin hair which puts off most hairdressers...they just put their hands up in the air and shrug. Not Geri. In fact she sees it as a challenge and has worked with me over the years to strengthen and revitalize my hair. When I first started to go to the salon instinct told Geri that I wasn't happy with my colour...it was a little red and all I could see was copper. She waited a couple of days and had Meghan call me to see how I felt once I had slept on it a few days, and I fessed up I didn't like it. Geri brought me right in, we re-did the colour and conditioned it, no charge. I would have lived with it for the six weeks until my next appointment, and maybe not even have shown up for that next appointment. What Geri did there was solidify our relationship permanently and I've trusted her ever since. It's been five years. I won't go to anyone else. I've been going long enough that I feel like family and I think that's one of the things I like the best, all Geri's staff are long term, they all seem to have a good friendly relationship and it spills over to the clients. I can't recommend it any higher!

What a great Salon in St Catharines. Came in for the first time, I didn't realize they were even there. I felt 100% comfortable being in there, especially with COVID19. There questions and cleaning policies were very comforting. I was thrilled with my haircut after I left, the stylist really listened and did exactly what I wanted.
