My hair has been dyed blonde for many years. Covid hit and I was forced to colour my own hair. Needless to say I didn’t do a great job. I made an appt with Taylor F. and I couldn’t be happier with my hair. She corrected my colour and took out all the yellow for a softer more natural look. The salon is beautiful and friendly and Taylor F. is a talented stylist.Highly recommend Taylor F.

I was shocked at how thorough and knowledgeable Chantel was, I never had such an amazing experience before. I had previously used Sun in to lighten my hair & was nervous that getting my hair bleached would kill my hair (previous experience, different salon) but I think my hair felt even better afterwards! She really took her time to ensure my hair turned out great and it did. Found my new colourist (finally!!)

I was introduced to this salon just this past weekend from my best friend who has been going to the salon for a while. I needed a stylist for an updo for my sister's wedding and my friend recommended we go to this salon. I honestly could not have been happier. I have never felt like a stylist has listened to my thoughts the way that Sara did, and worked hard to make me happy. I would absolutely recommend this salon to anyone, also knowing that my best friend has gone here for years and has been completely happy with both cut and colour of her hair. And I have found a new stylist for me too!!

I love this salon! I've been going here for a few years now and my hair has been taken from box dye (never again) to blonde to black and managed to stay completely healthy at all the stages in between. They always know what to reccomend so that I can upkeep my hair when my budget is tight. I love that all of the employees here are non-competitive and are able to share clients. I also love the cozy environment where I can wear slippers in the winter, and even enjoy a cup of tea with a cookie!

I have been coming here for 7 years, and always leave with the perfect cut!! As someone with naturally curly hair it can be difficult to find stylist who know how to cut it in flattering ways. Loved this place Being new to the area I really appreciated how talkative and friendly my hairdresser Taylor was. She was great and the salon was lovely. Will definitely make this my new spot. They use Kevin Murphy products, which sell for about 20+. Its a great line so I will be back to spend more money there. Thank you Salon Sara Line for texting me back and forth and not getting frustrated with how indecisive I was. I ended up leaving very happy with my cut and color change.Thank you!

I was first introduced to Salon Sara Lina by my sister. I knew from the first visit that they were simply amazing!! Tay has been doing my hair for a few years now and everytime I leave feeling and looking like a million bucks! She is always able to recreate my vision. This past June, both Tay and Sara did my wedding party's hair. Everyone looked amazing and working with them was such a pleasure! I highly recommend them to everyone I know and always look forward to my appointments there!!

This business was attempted to be used....I had a friend who had an appointment booked for this morning... and was messaged 12 hours prior to her appointment that well it was canceled due to that stylist being... sick. Well infact that stylist was not sick she was actually at work conducting business all day.. also offered her appointment up on Instagram. The true reason why the appointment was canceled was due to the fact her fiance has an ex gf there. Quite frankly this is not how you conduct your professional business.. and if a stylist was uncomfortable with her presence quite frankly I don't think said stylist should be employed by a company if she can't handle herself in a professional manner with having someone in the building that has some outside personal past with. It shouldn't matter, we can't discriminate against race, religion etc but we can discriminate against a person cause of who she is getting married too.. bad business decision on your part. I will never recommend you to anyone.

What stood out to me was there modern approach to hair, ease of booking, before and after pictures and training to keep stylists up to date. Getting my hair done is an investment, and I'm really happy I chose this salon! Seana did a wonderful and thorough job on my hair. She took the time to listen to me and ask questions to ensure I received a look I loved. I hadn't gotten my hair done in a very long time so I appreciated the care and attention she gave to giving me a fresh new look!

I moved to St. Catharines about 3 years ago and was looking for a hair salon near me. I happened upon Salon Sara Lina and have been going there ever since. Taylor is my stylist and she does a fantastic job of colouring, cutting and styling my (VERY) thick and long hair. All the women who work there are so talented. I naturally booked them for my wedding day and was so happy with my hair. They did four other updos and styles for my bridal party and everyone was so impressed with them. I would highly recommend the salon and any of their stylists. Plus - you get to see the two cutest pups while you're there!

Went there today for the first time. I usually go to another salon but have been unhappy lately with the results so I decided to try somewhere different and went to Salon Sara Lina. My appointment was with Chantel, she is so down to earth and extremely knowledgeable. I showed her a picture of the colour I would like my hair to be and she did an amazing job achieving the results I wanted!! The salon is beautiful and they offer snacks and great espresso while you wait. 100% happy with my hair and the over all experience. I will highly recommend Chantel and this salon. My first experience at Salon Sara Lina was amazing. This will be my go to place from now on. Not only did my hair turn out exactly how i wanted, but the staff was extremely friendly and made sure you felt comfortable. They were also extremely cleanly and have good protocols in place for Covid 19 to make sure you feel safe. Shout out to Taylor F for the best and most relaxing scalp massage and for perfecting my hair!

I am so happy I found this little gem of a salon when I moved back to the Niagara area several years ago. Sara and her team are an amazing, talented and super sweet group of gals who are elevating the salon game downtown St. Catharines. Sara is exceptional at always helping me achieve my hair goals! I have stubborn, fragile hair and she is always very helpful in determining what would be best for my hair and colour so it maintains its health. She is so great at what she does and always goes above and beyond to make me and her other clients happy with their hair and their experience. Sara even travelled 5 hours north to do my hair on my wedding day! I have had the privilege of seeing almost all of the girls in the salon for various services and they are all equally awesome and all do a wonderful job! Their salon is the cutest and always pristine. The Kevin Murphy line they use and sell is the best and does amazing things for my hair! The Doo Over Spray is an actual god send product! I of course also enjoy the occasional doggy visits from Maude and Marta, the salons emotional support pups. Thanks for being the best, SSL! This place is a scam and the biggest ripoff. I asked Madison for balayage and I left with this hair colour that you can’t see balayage at all, and my ends as you can see from pictures is so dark. If you care about your hair stay away from this place. I do not recommend this salon.
