My favourite place to get my hair coloured! My girl Jordan always works miracles with my hair. She is always caring and goes out of her way to make sure you get what you want and what’s best for the health of your hair. I’ve never had an issue with the service here; I highly recommend this place!

Got an appointment same day which was nice. Was quoted 140-150 for bayalage and a cut. Showed stylist multiple pictures of what I wanted with the knowledge it wouldn't be exactly the same. Took 2 hrs plus, and needless to say my hair looks like the same color it did when I walked in. So $150 plus tax and tip and 2 hrs later.... Very Disappointed

Terrible experience even pathetic customer service. I asked to get my eyebrows done and KAITLYN (the woman who did my eyebrows) RIPPED THE SKIN OF EYELID OFF. After being asked to address this issue the staff tried explaining that this IS NORMAL!!!! well it has never happened to me in 6 YEARS OF GETTING WAXED so no, it is not normal. And, when I asked the staff to call KAITLYN, SHE REFUSED TO EVEN COME OUT AND LOOK AT WHAT SHE HAS DONE TO MY EYELID AND APOLOGIZE, RATHER SHE WAS SITTING INSIDE IGNORING MY CONDITION. I mean, who can be this unprofessional and ill-mannered. 1. I was made to stand there in pain while i could not even open my eyes. 2. i was not provided with any ice or pain relief 3. The staff did not agree on giving me any compensation of any kind and returned my money after making me stand there for an hour. I want to sue this place for negligence in something that could have been even worse and for the unprofessional behavior i was shown after that. How do you expect me to go to work and school with this eye? Who is to compensate for all that? This is request to all customers who are willing to go this store in future; "DO NOT EVEN HAVE THE SLIGHTEST IDEA TO ENTER THAT STORE, BECAUSE ACCORDING TO THEM, RIPPING OFF THE EYELID SKIN WAS NORMAL, SO NOW ANYONE CAN IMAGINE WHAT CAN HAPPEN TO THEM WITH THIS KIND OF STAFF TRYING TO EXPERIMENT ON YOUR FACE. AND IF CONFRONTED, THEY WILL NOT EVEN TRY TO APOLOGIZE YOU." These staff members keep getting their facial done from some other store and in here they just ruin other people's face.

Always like coming here. The prices are a bit high and there can be a bit of a wait sometimes, but the service is excellent and I've always enjoyed the haircut I receive at the end. If you haven't tried it yet, I'd definitely recommend stopping by for a haircut. Bring more than $20, though...

My usual haircut is a pretty simple mohawk, but stylists vary in how precise they are. I went to this salon for the first time today and it's the best mohawk I've gotten in a while! Plus she charged me the buzz cut price instead of the full haircut price!

Absolutely terrible experience at St. Vital Unisex. Went in with a photo of the haircut I wanted, and showed it to the hair dresser. We agreed on a few changes that would better suit my face. I was given a completely different haircut than the one shown. The hair dresser began by shaving much farther than what I had shown in the photo, so I couldn’t even give input past that. Was honestly debating just getting it fully shaved after she began. I’ve provided pictures of my current haircut and the one I showed her. Extremely disappointed that I spent $30 here. Do not recommend. EDIT: was offered store credit only, no refund. Ridiculous.

I switched to St Vital Unisex late last year and have seen Lisa a few times now for colour, highlights, cut etc. She’s been great and takes care in making sure your hair turns out great. She’s done a great job each time and is fun to chat with. I’ve received many compliments on my hair! Pricing is very reasonable compared to where I used to go and they have an app for bookings and a reward system in place. This is now my go to salon.

I go here for haircuts for the whole family for years. I have never had an issue and the prices are fair. There is plenty of staff working here so there is never much of a wait. I personally like the massaging chairs when they wash your hair but they are not always used. Overall I would recommend for anybody.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE service, I got my hair cut and they cut it completely choppy and uneven. I went back after I realized how bad of a job they did and I’ve never dealt with more of an unfriendly staff, they refused to give me a refund for the money I wasted getting my hair cut there, and only would give me a gift card back to their salon. Worst service and staff I’ve ever experienced.

Went here to get a slight trim on my hair, not to much I usually ask with the scissors, then the chick starts shaving my darn head with a number 4 which is very short basically a buzz cut, and my Hair is already like 4 inches long, I wouldn’t recommend this place because they cut how they want to do it not how you want

I asked for balayage and a medium long haircut and I ended up with a very short damaged orange hair and a $86 bill. I had to buy a dark brown dye to cover this mess myself at home otherwise I had to pay them another $100 just for a dark brown dye. Just make sure that they know how to do what you are hoping for and if it is possible for them to do what you want at all!! I do not recommend this place.

Went in for a haircut and came out with lovely layers. I am a kind of person who always have a particular picture in mind before getting my hair done and I always talk to my hairsdresser about the look that I want to achieve. Jamie was extremely patient with me and did exactly what I told her. She thoroughly washed my hair, styled them and told me about the hair products and how to use them to avoid any heat damage or hair dryness. Fell in love with my hair again.

I've been their acouple times and had a good experiences. My recent hair cut about a month ago was horrible and won't let me be returning. The girl had a brace on her wrist and was still cutting hair. Furthermore she sat down on a chair while cutting my hair. *who does that?* It was so unprofessional. She also was chomping on gum so loudly in my ear. My gut was def telling me this isn't good. My hair was uneven and choppy. But I told her I didn't like it. I didn't bother to go further about the situation cause nothing could have been done. She didn't come ring me up when I went to pay like they usually do. Went home dealt with it. Leaving my opinion. Not all the hair dresser their are unprofessional. I had acouple who were awesome but don't work their anymore. But my one bad experience which is cringe worthy. Won't have me returning.

My hairdresser was a bitcch and dumped her water bottle on my friend in the middle of the mall only because he was defending me for another idiots actions that she accused me of... never again highly don't recommend I will change my review when I see changes in the staff. My wife went into the salon with a $100 gift card, asked for highlights, since it was only $50, figuring she would have money left over for a tip, and to buy some product. While they were doing her highlights they started styling her hair, but she said not to, since we were going to the cottage/lake. The girl then told her she was going to cut her hair. She said she didn't want her hair cut. The girl said it needed to be straightened at the back. That was a lie. I know her hair was fine. She said okay just make the bottom line straight, but then the girl starts cutting off several inches... and she gets to the till, and it is not $50, it is suddenly $175... That is called theft. Avoid this place at all costs. They will rob you blind while sticking a hot curling iron where the sun doesn't shine.

The stylist made multiple comments throughout the wash and trim about how dry and dead my hair was when I came in for a trim. Clearly I know my hair is dead if I’m coming to get a trim. She washed my hair for all of 2 minutes and then after cutting sent me home without blow drying my hair and I was still charged $30. She acted as if she had performed a miracle on my hair after being so rude about how dry it was. Cutting off an inch of hair isn’t a miracle it’s your job.

We waited 45 minutes, and checked in once in between to remind them we were there. There was no one else waiting and 2 others came in without appts and got serviced. We left and asked what happened and got told we got assigned one hairdresser. We asked why not one of the 3 we saw with no clients could service us, we got told it was a mistake very snidely so we left. We were going there for 2 years, and won’t be anymore. We asked for the manager or owner and got told we would have to wait until Monday. Brutal.

I wish, i could given minus starts but i cannot. I had an appointment at 1030am but went there they said i dont have an appointment. They have minimum 3 receptions at front desk. And they have only 2 tasks to do. Take an appointment and get the money from customers. I am so sad they cannot even do that then why are you even working there if you cannot take an appointment properly. So disappointing.

If I could give no stars I would, I'm from toronto and came here to visit family, I have really curly hair and needed to get my hair cut and didn't do much research on the place than I should have. At first things were great I didn't have an appointment but they took my right in and started cutting my hair, they told me what they were doing before hand but they didn't give me what I asked for. They dont know how to handle different hair textures and types and they need more people who do understand. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE WHO HAS CURLY HAIR.

I got my hair dyed here with J-Jay, she did a root drop with more of my natural colour and she did just a fantastic job. I went to a couple other places requesting the same thing and they totally ruined my hair and did the exact thing I asked them not to do. J-Jay was absolutely wonderful! She read my mind and matched my hair color just perfectly. I will never go to anyone else after my experience with her! I'm over the moon happy with her!

If you or your fam have curly or weavy hair,dont go here .My son had hair cut couple of times ,but since its closer to home I wanted to give it another try and called them today to see if they have any stylists who knows how to handle such hair!! They responded everyone here does!! Then after 30 min or so my son came like he got hair cut my himself .Not only its a bad haircut but also messy.Whoever did the haircut didn't bother to clean after him,the trimmed was everywhere from his face to his shoulders like everywhere !!! Such a disrespectful place and unfriendly front desk!!! Would never go !!! Its not like they care but its sad !!!! Thank you any ways!!!

Said and showed with my fingers that I wanted 2 inches taken off and the hairdresser took off literally 8 inches. Went from very long hair to hair that reaches my shoulders only when straight. Never had such a bad experience here or anywhere else before this. On top of it she was doing such a sloppy job she managed to get hair dye on her shorts, all over her arms, on the face of the client before me right under the lady's mask and on my chin. And right during the pandemic she didn't bother spraying the hair washing station chair down and had her other client sit down as soon as the young girl before her got up. Terrible experience.

For a Boys cut or Men’s cut Pam is great! 5 stars for Pam as you must keep in mind that like any Salon you need to get the right person. I’ve had people there that aren’t very good or have no sense of customer service. So stick with the same person not the salon otherwise it’s hit and miss.

The outcome was better than I expected. I always wanted to have short hair but everytime I do the stylist can't make the cut work for me. It's my first time here and my stylist today was great and wonderful. She made sure that the cut will compliment my face and wont make it look more round. Love my hair today and my daughter loves it too. She wanted to have the same hairtcut i have now.

All they want is your money. Staff recommends wrong products and they won't return. Any other place where a strightening or curling device is not used and wrongly recommended by THEIR staff, would take customer service first. Not this establishment. Go somewhere else for your hair needs. POOR MANAGEMENT !
