All the woman in this building hype you up and make you feel like a million bucks after actually making you look like a million bucks! Woman supporting woman and seeing how talented all of the staff is, are just some of the reasons I will always choose HQ! I have gone to see Alana S for a couple years now, she is so professional and you can tell how much she cares for her clients. 10/10 would recommend!!

I have been going to the salon location for over 10 years and used to think it a great place to go. But my most recent usual stylist - Alanna - did not properly book my appointment for the length of time it should have taken to do my hair, She then rushed through a cut without having time to get my highlights redone which is what I really wanted. It was clear when I arrived that she was very impatient and rushing through the job because she asked an assistant to wash my hair and style it without asking me if I was ok with an assistant doing this job. While getting my hair washed by an assistant it was clear that this newbie had no idea how to wash hair due to the laborious amount of time it took her to wash toner off ineffectively. all the time sitting on that sink waiting also cause my neck to hurt and tense up as well. After the wash I could tell the cut was not good -there were lots of split ends & the toner looked like it had sat too long. I became upset & told the assistant I didn’t want a style. Alanna decided to charge me for the full cut and style anyways and knew I left unhappy and didn’t offer to fix it. Very disappointed in the customer service and being rushed through, expected quality service especially since I’ve been a long time loyal customer, and if you like quality salon care it is difficult to get from this particular individual consistently.

I’ve been coming to get my hair done for a few years now. I love my time at HQ, everyone is so bubbly and welcoming. The salon is always clean and beautiful. It’s the first place I’ve been to where I love my cut every.single.time. They know what they are doing when dying my hair, it always turns out perfect. If I could rate 6 stars I would, I have been going to Alana for years as she is the only stylist I trust when it comes to going blonde. The entire salon is a very upbeat and comfortable environment including the staff that always have a smile on their faces. Alana is such a kind and genuine person I am always looking forward to my appointments with her as you can tell how important each and every one of her clients is to her. My hair would be an absolute disaster without this angel of a hair stylist! On top of the fact there is a free-of-charge therapy session with every appointment :)

First time going to HQ, I saw Alana. Couldn’t get over how personable and kind she was. Not only was she the sweetest hair dresser I’ve ever gone to, I couldn’t get over how amazing my haircut was. I have short curly hair, in the past most people I’ve gone to see have struggled to get the look I wanted. But not Alana, I am extremely happy with my haircut and will for sure be seeing Alana forever.

The team here can make your hair dreams come true! There's a lot of talent and skill packed into this salon, including an esthetician with great natural and local skincare and makeup products. The owner also offers NBR extensions which are as natural looking as anything I've ever seen and super easy to take care of!!

I followed stylist Kaley to this new location and had my first appointment today. I was extremely impressed with the look and feel of the shop. It gets lots of natural light from the west exposure windows; the double door entry prevents cold air from streaming in; love the actual coat closet and spacious washroom; the private room for esthetician services is very well appointed with it’s own natural light as well; the staff is friendly and very professional. It was a very positive and uplifting experience! Can’t wait to go back! Merci Kaley.

Yesterday was my first visit to the salon for highlights.
