I'm currently passing the hour mark for waiting here even though they told me 20 minutes when I walked in. Everyone else in the waiting room had been told a much shorter time as well. Management- why tell your employees to lie to your customers?

I called ahead to see if walk-in was ok and they said to come in. I got there at the specified time and told they do no walk-ins no apologies. Made an appointment for 230 that same afternoon arrived on time after waiting 25 minutes I left. Person running the place had a really poor customer relations attitude!

One of Worse Haricut i had. I do not want put out stylist name but she is older. did not even cut my hair right. did not show me how cut was just say all done. So stick to good stylist at the same place.One of worse haircut styles across was one of best so be aware.

Today I had the greatest experience at this salon. Not only did I get exactly why I was looking for by showing Kim ONE picture (involved 15 inches off), but they were friendly and made a very comfortable environment. Best experience I have ever had at a hair salon. I will be coming to Kim forever now.

I have been going to the St. Anthony Fantastic Sams for about 5 years now, and I have to say they are the best! I have had only one bad customer experience here and I noticed the next time I came in that the individual was no longer there. The entire staff is remarkable. I tend to stick with 2 or 3 of the stylists (you can request a specific stylist, and yes, your wait will be longer) because I like how they color and cut my hair, but I know the other stylists have repeat customers, as well. Wonderful place!

I am a stylist also but work from home and sometimes can't get my young son who has anxiety issues, to sit still and behave for me..I have resorted to bring him to Fantastic Sams and I don't regret it one bit! Ive been going here for about a year now, and the majority of the stylists are fantastic (pun intended) but there is one in particular that is terrible. Unfortunately she makes the experience of going there inconsistent at best. Its not that she doesn't know what she's doing, its the laziness and lack of attention to detail that's completely obvious in her work and demeanor. Its as if she's annoyed you're there in her chair, but she certainly still expects your money for a hack job!

Melanie fixed a rough haircut I received another salon (not Fantastic Sams). She did a great job of explaining what we could do to get the results I wanted and made sure I was comfortable with any changes she made. I also had confidence in her abilities because of the way she articulated cutting hair. I'm super happy with the haircut and would definitely return!

asked for my hair to be longer then my jaw but shorter then my shoulders and i got a little shorter then my jaw lied and said she asked me 3 time when she only did once and didn’t want to take accountability for not listening to what i said she basically gave me a bob and i didn’t want that even gave me and under cut and i wanted my hair to be all one length the photo with the dark hair is what i wanted the one with like the orange kind of hair is what i got

I went in for a cut, 2 different color foils and an eyebrow wax. I requested to work with Katrina. She was Amazing! I had the same thing done back in September. I also worked with Katrina then as well. She does such a great job! She definitely knows what she is doing. She walks you through the whole process and keeps you calm. Thank you Katrina!!

The staff are typically very nice, sometimes they might be having a bit of a bad day, it shows in their cuts. You need to explicitly say what you are looking to get to get the cut you want, returning customer or not. Brow waxing is quick and simple, different stylists do different styles of brows.

I was a walk-in. Person that greeted me was very pleasant and accommodating. They got me in right away. Kim was the person that worked on me. She was so great. Don't waste your time, it's worth it to pay more. The stylist couldn't even finish blow drying my hair, she was clearly frustrated while trying to stop & send me on my way halfway through even though the salon wasn’t busy. Color wasn't even what I wanted & she didn't seem to like it just said it was an underrated shade. 2 weeks/ 2 washes later ... it's washed out . As a x hair stylist I could have done it on my own but I came in for a pick me up and to relax/ have someone make me feel good at that specific time without waiting for an appt at a real salon. Sorry I wasn't going to do this but I'm just disappointed

Edit 3/13/20. After reflection and living withe the cut I was given, I am upping the score. The cut has lived through a washing and didn’t go flat. I still think communication could have been better, but it is a 2 way street . Have never been to a FS before. Was recommended by a friend. The cut was ok for the money but I have never been to a salon where they didn't blow out my hair. Didn't know when I asked for a cut that was all I was going to get. The stylist didn't offer to blow it out for an extra charge. She knew when I first came in that I had never been to SF before because she asked. I would have paid extra but instead was sent out with a head full of wet hair in March. I asked for a price list but wasn't given one. A learning experience.

Sachi, Laura, and Sen are absolutely amazing! I was in there last night wanting to get something wild and fun done with my hair. My girlfriends went in for the same. Each one of the stylists did a fabulous job! We could not have had better service. So long as those ladies continue to work there I can say with confidence that this Fantastic Sam's will have three returning customers!

If I could give 0 I would. So I dyed my own hair it turned nuclear orange. I called to see if they had any opening for a color. Katrina answered the phone and said in a monatone voice were walk in only I said are you by cub? She said I dunno by dq so I had a hour wait. I got Melinda or Melissa I don’t recall her name she had me sign a contract I said I want platinum blond which I’ve had done many times but was trying to save money doing myself . Do she put in the dye with her hands no tin foil no brush and the dye was white even I knew it should be blue? Or purple she than had me sit in a chair no heat I asked she said are new dye don’t require heat. 25 minutes went to sink rinsed hair out got to her chair I see bright yellow I said it looks yellow she thAn said as it dries it will lighten up I begged for a toner she said no you’re hair will fall out . I said how about thin out my hair something it’s yellow she thAn said it will get better as it dries I said I don’t like it at all which I have NEVER done ever in usually go home cry say nothing this time I told her I’m not happy at all it looks worse I have before and after pictures. So mean while I called corporate twivce no response sent email no response I went to a family gathering I was told in polite ways you’re going for yellow these days? So I didn’t care if my hair fell out went to Sally’s bought toner left on 15 minutes and walla platinum blond hair . Now I paid 122.00 and a 10 dollar tip I usually tip 25.00 but not happy. I feel I should have a call maybe with an apology my money back? I’ve spend another 20 to fix her mess. Oh forgot while waiting to get my hair done there was a older woman in I’d say 80’s that katrina and the gal doing my hair rolled their eyes st when I asked Melinda or Melissa I said was the lady before me having problems? She said no just very picky. I think I can cut her hair after 22 years and her hair is just like my moms. Oh one last thing I sat down immediately in her chair after older lady left she just swept her hair to the side no wiping the chair or hair swept up, sad I’ve had two days in tears over this and no apology

The lady who cut my hair did terrible job! I asked to cut my sides at 1 and then put two lines on each side. She put two lines but on one side the lines head down and on the other the lines are straight! How hard is it to do that! Then she washed me hair with shampoo but no conditioner! I will never go back!

I went in about a week ago and got Katrina! She did an amazing job... she walked me though my options...She ended giving me my purple highlights and and an all over black. I love my hair, she was very personable and professional. She is my new go to lady! The whole atmosphere there was great. Highly recommend Katrina!

I came in to get my haircut on saturday 12/12/15 at 1:30 pm. I received what i felt was the best haircut I've ever received from any establishment who has cut my hair. I wish i remembered who the stylist was. I do know she was very pretty and friendly. She deserves to be recognized for her stellar work. You're lucky to have her employed there....as am I. thank you. I just was informed of my stylist's name. Her name was Ingris. I recommend her for anyone who wants the best.
