I have been going to Voodoo for couple years now and refuse to let any other hairdresser touch my head. Service is fantastic. These ladies got skills too! I don't even have to tell them what to do anymore, just come in and let them do the magic. Hair cuts used to be very stressful for me but not anymore. I've already recommended Voodoo to everybody I know and will keep sending people I don't know.

I love the family/community feel of this place. I am not typically a kid person, yet I love the kids here. As the name suggests.. Voodoo Hair Studio proves that nothing is too taboo or weird for these chickas! I have yet to have my hair done here, but I HIGHLY recommend the microblading, undercut designs, and nails services here. As somebody who has A LOT of thick course hair, they provide cost efficient methods and explanations of processes I can do to make my hair work for me.

This was a very disappointing cut for me, and the most devastating experience I've ever had. I don't think the stylist listened to me, but did what she thought was best without really confirming what I wanted. I came in with a photo in hand and clearly stated that I wanted to still be able to pin my hair up. The stylist proceeded to cut my hair initially the length on the sides looked good, but the shape was very wrong. I couldn't see the back of my head, I discovered she had cut my very short in the back, and longer in the front. The length of the layers were completely uneven and also the length from the left side to the right side was uneven. Though she did try to fix it, which just made it so much worse. She didn't really seem to know how to fix the bad haircut, which at that point it was timefor me to leave. I would not recommend the Deva cut to any one. After doing a bit more research on this new method, I realized that this is only going to work on people who have super curly thick hair and only wear it curly. If you are going to wear it straight, get a regular cut, save your money. You will do much better with that! I would say there is a definite need by the stylist to work on the consultation and communication skills to make sure that they understand precisely what the client is wanting. Had she asked a few more questions to clarify, this horrible haircut would never have happened.

Love this salon! I found them via a Google search and after checking out their Instagram I figure I would give them a shot. I was in the market for a new hair dresser as mine decided on another career path. I'm super picky so I emailed the salon expressing my anxiousness about seeing someone new and actually got a response from the owner who totally put me at ease and suggested I come for a consult - I'm super happy I did. I now see Kylee and she's awesome!! I've referred a couple others to her who have been just as happy! Nothing better than a fresh cut and colour and their prices are fair for the great service ????????????

I'd give them 10 stars if I could! The salon has a funky and cool vibe.The chairs are high enough to give your upper back and shoulders support and they're super comfy. They even have complimentary beverages including Jones Soda. The best part of my experience was the stylist. Bianca has been doing my hair FOREVER. She always does a fabulous job and I will follow her wherever she goes. She's always honest about whether I can realistically do the things I want to do with my hair without turning it into straw. If you're looking for a new stylist that will work with you and help you achieve your hair goals without ruining your hair and robbing you blind look no further.

I was needing to get my hair done for a special event and my regular hair salon was not available. I called Voodoo Hair Studio and was fortunate to have reached Phil the owner. He explained to me he was fully booked for the next few days but to give him some time to see what he could do for me. He called one of his stylist, Jade who was off, and booked me in with her even though it was the long weekend. I met Jade at the salon for the first time and she was such a sweetheart and listened patiently to what I needed. She went above and beyond my expectations and my balayage color turned out fabulous and love my new haircut as well. Thank you, Phil for your outstanding service. Jade is a very talented hairstylist and would highly recommend her. I have finally found the perfect salon and hairstylist for all my hair services. I will be for sure going back. I would recommend Voodoo hair studio to everyone who is looking for exceptional service in a great environment. The Salon is very trendy , clean and very comfortable.

While I was there paying high end spa treatment prices, ($185.00 for short hair foils) the owners 3 kids were at the salon the entire time wandering. I love kids but... NOT when I'm getting a color done. The youngest child brought a rock in from outside to give my stylist for a gift. That was a pretty cute moment, but when my stylist had to ask the owner and his two eldest kids to move from the shampoo chairs so that I could get foils rinsed I started to think this isn't a client focused or professional environment at all. While my hair was being rinsed the owner then came over to the stylist to discuss her email and inability to participate in group chats. They discussed this over my head of course. ???? Then the cute little one came and sat with me to talk about summer...which again I didn't mind at all but when her older sister started doing cartwheels three feet in front of where I was sitting in the shampoo chair into the reception area I thought ....this isnt what I want out of a salon experience. Again, no big deal if you're paying community, small town prices but charging high end prices for this experience is not anything I'm opening my wallet for again. And...a week later my hair is no longer a cool tone. It's yellow. Sorry Voo Doo. I tried calling your salon twice this morning to discuss how my experience could be rectified at 11 am and again at noon. But on a Saturday morning no one answered. Not even an answering machine to return calls! With a family wedding approaching and all of us needing our hair done, I'm beyond disappointed to have to find a new salon.
