I had my hair done with Alixx and I'm so thrilled with the results! I have deceptively thick and frizzy curly hair that I've found most hair stylists take shortcuts with because it takes a long time to place the foils, dry and style, but Alixx put such care and attention into every step, and I've literally never had my hair look so good after an appointment! She does beautiful natural looking colourwork and the way she styled my hair made me feel like a celebrity :) Thank you Alixx!

It was time for a change because a new season is coming. Haven't been in a salon since Covid-19 started and this salon is always booked. Lucky they had an opening at 11:45am and booked it instantly. They are usually booked weeks in advance. Thank you to the stylists and to this shop. I've only gotten my balayage through them since 2018. I can't trust anywhere else. The environment is so nice and the stylists are great and friendly. If you're needing to get your hair done, check them out! Support local business! I drive all the way from SW Edmonton for my appointment in St. Albert to get my hair done! So Worth it!

I came here because of a groupon I purchased. And I've fallen in love with this place. Denisha did and amazing job on my hair, my cut color and blow dry turned out so pretty. I've had some bad experiences at hair salons in the past so it had been a year since I visited one. And I was not disappointed when I cam here! Great prices. The only issue I found was limited parking, unless you find a spot right off the bat you find yourself searching

I got my hair cut by Alex and she did amazing! First of all, her head massage almost put me to sleep. I was SO relaxed. I got my hair cut pretty short and she made sure it was clean and even and to perfection. While we had great conversation, she was also very focused on getting it perfectly even and I was definitely enjoying the silence as I'm not much of a talker. Definitely book with her if you're looking for a beautiful short cut!

By far the best hair salon! I've been here a handful of times and have never left disappointed. I dont know how she does it but denishea always gets my hair the exact shade I'm looking for. I'd also like to say I love the extensions they use, the hair quality is very good ( minimal shedding) as i've had the same set reapplied multiple times! Thank you guys very much this salon is so cute and I always feel welcomed by the other staff members ❤love it

I took my teenage daughter to see Alixx yesterday to "fix" her highlights she got done at another salon. Alixx took the time to really listen to my daughter about the look she wanted to achieve and explained exactly what she was going to do to make it happen. I dropped in Saturday to see if I could get a haircut. I found the hairdresser quite rude. She snapped that she didn't have time as she was the only person there. I understand if she couldn't, but her tone was not nice. I dropped into other salons in downtown St. Albert and none of them could help me, but, they were apologetic and asked me to please try them again.

Amazing! I walked past this cute salon every time I went to the farmers market and I’m so happy I gave it a try. My appointment was with Hailey and she was excellent. She did exactly what I asked for and was so fun to chat with too. Trying a new salon and stylist can be intimidating and nerve racking but both the studio and Hailey were professional and very welcoming. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Its location downtown among the cafes and other cute shops is an added bonus as well. Thanks so much for the great experience I look forward to coming back!

I have been getting my hair done at Mint for a good while now and I can say that I have been very satisfied with the staff and services at this salon. The hairstylists are kind and easy to talk to. My hairstylist Hailey has been great with colours, cuts, and putting in my extensions. Since COVID has come around I have had no problems booking appointments months in advance and as a healthcare worker am happy with the cleanliness and compliance with new protocols that Mint follows. I have never been judged or rejected by the staff when trying to make an appointment due to the health risks of my job, and for that I am grateful. Keep working at it ladies! Your salon is thriving!!

I have been seeing the owner of this store for my hair for over a decade. I never get tired of all the compliments I get with my doo's over the years. I love the location of this new salon and the group of girls she's put together. It's a fun atmosphere. I'll get a hair cutt and enjoy the many amenities looking fresh in downtown St. Albert from festivals/farmers markets to simply grabing a bite near by. She always recommends the perfect products. My wife make sure I bring home some goodie if I am getting my hair done solo. All my friends and family I have sent over to her seem to just love her work too! Cutts, colors, up dos, styling, facial waxes, bridal parties, you name it and she will exceed your expectations!

My cut was great but my belayage was streaky and uneven. Bleach was left in for too long while stylist attended to another customer and destroyed my hair all the way up the shaft. I've since had to cut 9 or so inches off to try to get my hair healthy again but everywhere the bleach touched is fried as hell.

HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS AVOID!! Booked my appointment for bridal hair. After paying the deposit, I come to find out they will not provide services for anyone who has cared for COVID patients. When I cancelled, I was originally not going to receive a refund as "It was unfair of me to break my contract". I was not made aware of their so-called COVID regulations prior to booking this appointment and signing my contract. Not only is refusal of care based on occupation unprofessional, but simply degrading. Would absolutely not recommend and have passed on this information to other healthcare providers .
