If I could rate the service I recieved yesterday accurately, then the rating would be ZERO stars. I went into this salon because it had good ratings, but I wish I had never ever stepped foot into this salon! With waist length hair and ombré tips, and I left with my hair at various choppy lengths at, and above my chest, and a "bayalage" from hell. I asked for "long layers". She completely butchered my hair!!!!!! It was uneven, unblended, I lost approximately 4-5 inches off of my hair when she showed me that she would cut off about two inches (I have pictures of before and after)!!!!!! She seemed to cut behind my back, never bringing my hair in front of my shoulders to show me the length and "evenness" of the cut. Before she "cut" or dyed my hair she chopped off about 2 inches and called it a "rough cut" which I have never seen anyone do before, and then after she killed my hair colour with a dye job from hell, she proceeded to "cut" my hair again afterwards! The dye job looked like a box dye job done by a partially blind person (brassy, uneven, with harsh lines going from yellow to dark brown). I've showed a woman I know (Dani, from Salon hush in Saskatoon) my hair and she was easily able to pick out what a nightmare I had experienced, like anyone with a set working of eyes would be able to do. I was told by the girl (Hannah) who did my hair that she would fix the harsh, brassy lines by pulling brown down into the yellow. I said okay, and began examining my hair, and to my horror I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I just stood in front of the mirror saying OMG. I tried to show the other stylist and they wouldn't agree that there was even a problem. They just urged me to "let her fix it". I am a customer who seeks great services, and am more than happy to pay for it! What I recieved no one could ever hope to experience. I went to this salon to feel better about my hair and self, a left completely traumatized and I cried for hours. The last thing I was going to do was give this girl the chance to ruin it further. Enough damage was done! After paying for my husbands service (he got a men's cut, and he said he had to tell her where it was uneven and to fix it, his experience was nothing compared to mine) we both immediately called various salons to see if I could get my hair fixed by an experienced journeyman stylist, and unfortunately the salons apparently close in Regina on Saturdays between 5-6pm. I was able to meet with a journeyman hair stylist at the chatters down quance street in the hour afterwards who winced at the sight of my hair nightmare, and told me that the cut was so bad he would have to take off atleast 3 more inches just to fix it. We never chatted about how to fix the "dye job". If your new to Regina, like I am and looking for a new salon, do not see Hannah. I can't speak for the other stylists. I would suggest that you choose someone who's work might be visible on a social media platform or atleast have a friend with amazing hair refer you so that you know they are experienced enough to handle your hair with care and skill. That way you might not end up living the nightmare I've experienced at this salon. Also, requesting a journey person is worth it at a renowned salon. This is the first time I regret not doing so. I will always regret ever stepping foot into this salon or even coming across the business online at all. Period.
