Short form: Messed up my hair severely, did not listen to what I wanted, Do NOT recommend I went here to get my hair dyed balayage and cut before a trip. When I first walked in I was asked if I was there for facial waxing, after I said no then they proceeded to ask my name and help. So after feeling humiliated, I met my hairdresser. I showed her pictures of what I was wanting and she said she could do it no problem. I went in with natural hair. I explained my hair chemistry to her. After around 5 hours of dying the photo is the result. I went in wanting my natural hair as the lightest color. Halfway after she made my hair a mess of blonde and brunette, I asked if she thought it looked like the inspiration photo. She said yes, clearly having no idea how to do my hair. Only after I started to get upset on how she did my hair did she then decide to darken my roots and "pull" the color down with a comb instead of the typical painting with a brush along the sides. You can see what I left with. I left with bleached hair that was wrecked. I wanted to avoid bleach, hence the darker dye. My hair is still damaged from this. After taking the night to calm down, I emailed the store owner. I only got a refund (paid because I didn't know what to do at the time) after I broke down to the owner. They would not give me a solution, I had to request it. I do not recommend going here. I would give 0 stars if possible.

By far the worst hair experience I have ever had for high/low lights. I have been thinking about doing a review of this hair salon since it happened and didn’t really want to, but I would want to know if someone had this happen before paying over 225.00 (Which i didn’t even pay at a high end Aveda salon on Robson Street in Vancouver.) And I have never had such a bad job done. My grow out is terrible. I got my hair done before Christmas (after having a consultation) and showed a picture of what I wanted. My hair looked nothing like it after. Then went back in to get it “fixed” and they put a toner on it. Telling me with a couple of washes it would really turn out the way I wanted. I have never had such a bad colour. Don’t waste your money getting your hair coloured here.

I have been to other spa before and I go for massage to relieve stress and pain as well as to relax. I did get an awesome massage. Skye was great and she did an awesome work. but the room is too bright plus you can hear the loud noise (chatting/laughing) from the other room and cashier area, the hallway. So thus it become more stressful to me, You cannot even enjoy the relaxing music.

Just had my second cut from Hannah and my lashes tinted by Ashley. These ladies are professional, thorough and frankly just awesome. And the salon Covid 19 protocols make you feel safe. Hannah always asks for and listens to your preferences so you leave with exactly what you wanted. Looking forward to my next cut and low lights in November.

I showed a picture of what color i wanted. My previous hair color is brown and i wanted an ash grey. I even bought the conditioner she suggested. It was August when i went there. After few weeks, the color fades. And my hair is literally brown again. Ive been using the conditioner too. Didn’t complain thinking that the conditioner will help, and anyway i have appointment for massage on October, so it’s better if i show it to them than complain. So, after my appointment for massage, i talked to them and showed them, and they even have the record, but apparently the lady (Kristine) (i don’t know if i spelled it right) is super busy, so they advised me to leave my name and number. And I NEVER GOT A CALL BACK. i just feel that its so unprofessional plus a waste of my $240 and my hair is still the same.

Their floors are awesome. Staffs are so friendly. Service is great. Pricing is kinda expensive but its worth it. If we need the services in great ways we have to pay the price for it.

Had a deluxe pedicure appointment was a good foot treatment yes but the simple pedicure was not done filing, cuticle or the nail shaping , didn't think anything of it until later ...I did not get the full services that was paid for I called & was suppose to get a call back ...I haven't heard from manager yet as she said she would , disappointing.

I have been coming to this salon & spa since it opened 5 years ago. My hair has never looked better (Thank you Jayda!) and Baylee does the absolute best gel nails in PA! They are always offering the newest services. I am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for" and with these guys you get more than just what you pay for. Never disappointed!

From having extensions to dyeing my hair many different shades. I would definitely recommend body mechanics, with professional staff that have excellent training and ability’s. The hairdressers are very good at their job as they always want to make sure they don’t over dye your hair to where it is damaged, but are wanting to get it to your satisfaction. I understand that you can never get ones hair to match a picture, (as I am guilty to being one that always brings pictures to my hairdresser) those pictures you show are hard to match exactly as everyone’s hair takes dye different and let’s be honest most of those photos are edited.

I have never wrote a review for a business but I’m so upset. I brought my $800 hair extensions in to be installed. They were in perfect condition and well take care of.. Ive had tape in’s for 2 years now and had no issues … now my extensions are completely destroyed and I am missing half of my hair. It will take me years to repair this mess and I paid triple for my install that I’ve ever paid anywhere else. Save your money and your hair and go somewhere else if you have tape in extensions.

Awesome facial by Stephanie. Probably the best in town.strongly recommend. But the salon is definitely not the place for pedicures, not worth paying that amount of money for the services you get.
