I've been here twice since August and both times I have left with haircuts that I can't stand. Having short hair makes it hard to get a good haircut as hairdressers tend to cut it like guys hair. The first haircut I left with two bald spots on the back of my head because my hair was cut so short. The second time I asked not to cut my bangs and they were chopped almost completely off not to mention how choppy and uneven the rest of my head was. I ended up having a friend fix it with her kitchen scissors and that looked better. I know that it's not the salon itself as I have had a few decent cuts from here in the past but from now on will not be going back.

By chance I had a couple of free hours in Truro and decided to treat myself to a wash-blowout , mini mani and brow tint ! Great service, quality work and I didn't break the bank ! I continued my journey a happy customer!! Will try to incorporate a stop in my future travels!! Highly recommend!!

Had my eyebrows done there a year ago and the tech put the wax too low on my eyelid.... Asked her if maybe that wasn't a good idea, but she went ahead anyways. Ended up with a purple eyelid that looked bruised and awful. Also cancelled last minute when I scheduled to get my hair curled for grad photos. Needless to say I was stuck with unwashed hair, in class and nothing but an "oh well" from them. That's exactly how I want to remember completing my degree. Thank god The Headshoppe was able to fit me in. Wanted to give a second chance after the waxing incident. Now I know and will never go back. ** Reply to response** It would have been nice if your staff had actually offered the solution to send me over to The Head Shoppe, However, after they told me there's nothing we can do for you, I called the other salon myself and made the appt. Good thing they had an opening. And using the excuse we're only human doesn't help anyone. I understand people get sick, but the salon also could have made accommodations - or referred my appt over to the Head Shoppe if that's what you "normally" do. Business is business.
