L’Attitudes in the Oshawa Centre is my go to salon, and has been for many years. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Most recently I’ve been seeing Julie and she is lovely, gave me the best cut I’ve had in a long time. She listened to what I wanted and was able to turn that into an amazing style. L’Attitudes is also flexible. I don’t always have the luxury of planning, but they are able to work with me to get an appointment that works.

Absolutely horrible; NEVER going back there. I wanted my hair SLIGHTLY thinned out - next thing I know, half my hair is gone. They also told me there was no way they could cut the hair without also washing it - not just wetting it (my hair was clean), which cost be a lot more than I anticipated. I had my haircut at the salon for the first time and had a good experience. My daughter also wanted to get her haircut and so I booked for an appointment the next day. When we arrived to our appointment, we were seated in the waiting area. After about 10 minutes of waiting, the stylist came over and explained that she was 1/2 hour behind and suggested we go for coffee and come back. We came back half hour later and still had to wait as she was still working on the same client. We waited another 20 minutes outside of the store before going in as the stylist had someone else wash my daughters hair. After washing her hair we waited another 40 minutes and was still not seen. When we looked for our stylist, she was working on another client. At this point we had waited over an hour for nothing and had to leave the store . On our way out, the only thing the stylist asked was if we wanted to come back tomorrow. And it didn’t seem like she really cared that we were leaving dissatisfied. I am super disappointed with the customer service. I will not be returning here again and would not recommend this salon.

I was amazed at how well everyone treated me there. I had just changed my baby's diaper and had fed him, but during my balayage, he had a diaper blowout and just when I was about to get up and interrupt my hair, one of the hairdressers came up to me and offered to help...she changed my son's diaper!!! Not only that, all the other hairdressers that weren't busy started walking him around and keeping him entertained until my mom came to the rescue. They also took me to one of the spa rooms to give me more privacy to nurse (because the baby was sleepy). My hairdresser, Lana, was also super patient and understanding. It is so rare to have such helpful and understanding people when you go with a baby. My hair turned out amazing too!

My best friend got married on Saturday (sept 11 2021)we went to L’Attitudes in the Oshawa Centre. Top pic is what we asked for, bottom two is what we got. When I asked for a refund the girl at the front desk said her manager wasn’t in of answering her cellphone. Unfortunately it was already paid for before I got outside and realized I looked like a version of Mimi from that Drew Carey show. Most of the bridal party weren’t happy with their makeup and/or hair… management was supposed to call me today for my refund, and never heard a word either! Will never refer anyone to L’Attitudes nor will unto they ever have me as a client!

I should have listened to the other reviews, while my hairdresser was nice I was disappointed with the final result, the lines are very choppy and not the sleek angled bob I had asked for. I have asked for angled bobs at other salons without a problem, and when I mentioned to the hairstylist that there was little to no angle and that the line was choppy all she did was thin the back a bit more but overall I do not feel the price is worth what I ended up with. I hate to leave a bad review but I am very dissatisfied with what should have been a simple cut. Update: I actually had to find another salon to fix my hair because it was so bad, and they could only do so much because of how short the back was cut so I am stuck with this awful haircut until my hair grows enough that it can be fixed...this is by far the worst haircut I have ever gotten.

I went to this salon after going there in September for just a perm. I do have a mens haircut it is quite short. When i went in september i was charged 100$. This included the tip i left and my perm was wonderful. Fast forward to this month of January and my perm has faded quite a bit and i know its time to go again. So yesterday I called and booked an appointment for 1:15. I attended this appointment and received some of the lowest quality care I ever have. They left layers of stained dye on my head for me to walk around with until I was able to handle it myself. When i showed the picture to the hair dresser of the fade i wanted for the lower half she proceeded to give me a one razor (size 1) all around. This is not what I asked for or showed. On each side of my head it was uneven and crooked, this is something I mentioned and she attempted to fix it which only made it worse.I have bad anxiety so I felt like i couldn't say anything and left. My hair was supposed to be dyed black and now it is turning a dark blue. There is blue stains all over my head and its just horrible. After getting home my mother and girlfriend were quite upset after noticing the problems that I had also noticed. The next day which is today I had to go to a different hair dressers to have everything fixed. This cost me another 100$. At this salon i paid 260$ with tip included for a flat colour dye, hair cut, and perm. Than another 100$ to get it fixed somewhere else. They were contacted about this and questioned why i did not come back to this salon for them to fix it? if you already messed up my hair why would i attend the exact same place and hope for a different outcome? that seems un logical. I have now spoke to two people and they have not only refused refunds but they are only suggesting I come back in. This is obviously not an outcome that works considering I feel uncomfortable now. There are other reviews that say the same thing and I could say alot more but this salon has done enough today to stress me out for the rest of the week. I highly suggest not going here as they do not pride their customers satisfaction when leaving. The last thing i was told was that there was nothing wrong with my hair just preference prolems. First of all even if that was the case my satisfaction is number one when paying for a service like this. But having blue hair thats meant to be black, having no fade done, and having an over all bad experience and robin did my hair

Had my daughter do laser on her side facial hair bought a 99$ package for 6 sessions it didn't work we had to buy another package to continue for the hair to go ... still didn't work so had at least 14 sessions done but no result Their laser is not good very light pls go to professional laser places don't waste ur money at this salon. If you want to get scammed, this is the place to go. This evening I went in and asked for a trim on my hair which is already short. Wash cut and dryed. When I got up to the desk to pay, I looked pretty much the exact same as when I got there and they said it would be 75$!!!!!! Their explanation was that I didn't specify who I wanted to do my hair, so they gave me to the "art designer", who's work is the most expensive, without telling me. Not sure what's so special about her position that she can charge 75 for a trim because I could have gotten the same cut from a different stylist for 30. I am completely disgusted that they lied to me to make some extra money. I said I could not afford a 75$ trim and they generously lowered it to 67.. ha. The cut was worth 40 max. I was definitely taken advantage of at L'Attitudes in the OC by the manager Michelle and stylist Georgia.

Worst experience ever. My appointment was supposed to be at 1pm and they told me to come back at 1:25 because the lady who was doing my hair was running behind. I came back and waited in the salon for a whole HOUR (2:30) until she finally came to do my hair. During the whole appointment she was going in between clients and I felt like I was forgotten about many times. When I was sitting with bleach in my hair, she said “10 more minutes and we will wash it out” she didn’t come back for a whole 25 minutes! My hair was way too processed and now I am left with extremely damaged hair AND it looks nothing like what I asked… not to mention I went for a consultation a week prior and she told me it was going to be $150 for what I wanted but when I went to pay my total some how jumped to $250!! I do not recommend going to this salon

I'm surprised with the stars this place has! Took my brother here (12 years old). We took him to this place rather than first choice cause of the google reviews. We booked an appointment for 8:15pm dropped my brother at the Oshawa location .. when we came back to pick him up , everything looked fine .. as we left the place we noticed his ears were bleeding .. We called the place the person who picked up said she is not aware of it so I told her we are coming back first thing she said was that their closing without any apologies (the manager Alison) .. when we went back the first thing she said was oh I spoke with the person who cut his hair she said that it is just a "paper cut" and she said "sorry" to him.. the lady end up being the Manager (Allison) and the person who cut his hair was (Julie). There was 2 other girls as well! They all started yelling and shouting why we left him alone for the hair cut !! WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM that we left him? Does that mean u guys can be careless?? Does that mean you don't treat your client right??? Instead of apologizing your jumping on us that we left him here alone? We paid $25 for a 12 year old instead of $12 from first choice so we can get the customer service we pay for! But unfortunely this wasn't the case! You shouldn't hurt your clients, doesn't matter if their with a guardian or not. And your job is to solve your clients problem not to repeativly say "we're closing its past 9 pm". Never going back there again.

My review is for one of your artists Julie, I felt it was necessary to post my review here since Julie's personal social media account indicates that she works at L'Attitudes and does not provide an option to review her as a private business. Since she represents your company and associated with it the entire morning, it is only appropriate for me to post a review here. I booked Julie privately for my wedding over 1 year ago, my wedding was last Saturday, May 26th. Less than a week before the wedding it was unclear if Julie had an assistant helping her or not. I offered to have a make up artist come in so Julie could focus on hair. Julie was not responding to messages, to the point where I was worried if she was fully committed. She ended showing up with an assistant who had no formal training. Julie rushed through hair and make up because she also booked to work at L’Attitudes for 11:30 am. Her phone was going off constantly. She was answering (and ignoring) calls from L’Attitudes all morning. I would strongly advise not booking with Julie because of the unprofessionalism she had with me and her lack of commitment to L’Attitudes.

I had my hair dyed and cut by Summer. She was great and super friendly! She suggested going a bit darker than I would normally since I had blonde in the ends of my hair and I was worried the brown would fade too fast. The dark colour looked great and ended up eventually fading to the brown colour I wanted originally. Overall it was a good experience.

Her results from her craft shows both externally and internally by making her customer feel good about themselves, a renewed spirit of positiveness and confidence in oneself. The worst service of my life. I was there two weeks before my marriage last year (October 2016). I made an appointment with one of the stylists and the stylist never came to work that day. After being there, the manager assigned another stylist . I told the her (a middle east woman was the stylist assigned) many times please do not make any mistake because I will have a very special event in my life. I was there all afternoon, and I left Latitudes' almost at 7 pm. I was very tired and I did not noticed how bad my hair looked. The next day, I saw the real look of my hair, it was orange, and hardly I was able to see the highlights. I went back to Lattitudes hair salon, and I talked to the manager (Kristen). She (Kristen), was very, very rude. I paid $ 241.00. The manager has the audacity to said to me, "if you want, you can do another appointment with another stylist, but you have to pay again". I was very disappointed because I paid a lot of money. I will NEVER return to this place. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME.

I made an appointment with my usual hairstylist about a week in advance, unfortunately, he was a no show. He didn't call to say he wouldn't be in and ignored the calls the receptionist made to him. Finally, he said he was sick and this was 20 mins after my appointment time. The receptionist convinced me to try someone of higher calibre, what a mistake. She was told what I wanted and to follow what had been done previously, also she knew how paranoid I was about getting my hair cut, but went ahead and destroyed my hair. The layers she did were really short and my hair went frizzy and I asked her to flat iron it to get rid of the frizzies. My bangs we too short because they were cut wet and of course shrink when dry and I told her that I wanted them cut angled which she didn't get. I called in to complain and Jennifer was suppose to call within 24 hours, it 36 hours and I'm still waiting. Thats why they have bad reviews. Its too bad because my stylist does a super job when he shows up. They really need better public relations.

Save your money. I went in for hi-lights and a cut. My only daughter was getting married the following Saturday. I was charged $50 for the cut alone since it was a "Master Stylist" Total bill $210! Not including tip. The hair on the floor afterwards may have fit into a tablespoon. I was very specific about the color of the hi-lights not being orange since my natural color was so dark. Guess what? Orange hi-lights when i left! I went back the next day and was told i would have to pay for another service for them to fix it...are you kidding me? Worst experience ever!

I came in for my appointment with Georgia fully prepared to have my head shaved after years of over processed bleaching from another salon. I was so tired of it being fried and was ready to start fresh. I visited their salon in order to get my hair colour done. I told the hair stylist Brittany that I’m getting my hair colour done for the very first time. I wanted them to be Chocolate Brown. She didn’t understand my instructions carefully. And did nothing to my hair and charged me around $192 and when I visited there the very next day in order to get them fixed, she completely ruined my hair. Now, my hair looks disgusting coz she made them 4 different colours- black, brown, blonde and green. She is completely unprofessional. HORRIBLE!!!!!! Came here for a wash and style for my birthday. When brought to the sink only "washed" my hair once. And by wash I mean just she mushed shampoo around in my hair rinsed it out, no scrubbing. Quickly threw in some conditioner. No scalp message no relaxation.Brought me to the station... I asked for a full blow dry done by the round brush. She used a paddle brush the entire time didn't section out my hair was a very sloppy job. I looked around while getting my hair dried and there was hair every where and on everything... The station beside me had her scissors out in the open with chunks of hair all in it. Towels and capes were thrown everywhere.. the entire place was a disaster as well as my service. Was not happy with the my hair what so ever. I could have done a better job at home my self. To top it off I got charged $45.00... Will never go back. I left there extremely unhappy and threw my hair up in a pony. Came home and re washed it and styled it myself. horrible.

In today’s world, it is so important that we are able to find skilled people who provide us with personal services. Diane Peters is that type of person. Besides knowing her hair dressing trade from end to end she is very personable, treats her clients as the most important people in the world and goes above and beyond to meet your needs. The first time I met Diane it was because another hairdresser had almost destroyed my hair with high usage of bleach during a highlight treatment. Diane explained what had happened, what she was going to do to fix it and kept my anxiety down during the whole process. Not once did she utter her own thoughts on the previous hairdresser incompetency. A high testament to her skills and personal attributes. I strongly recommend Diane to any new client, she is the best.
