I’m so glad I found Keans Hairstyling! I showed Anthony my vision, and he made it better. He walked me through the steps and was very detail oriented! I’ve never been to the hair salon and left loving my hair, but for the first time, I did. I absolutely love my hair, it turned out better than I imagined. The products at the shop are amazing as well!! I will definitely be going back and I don’t think I can trust anyone else but Anthony with my hair going forward. Thanks for a great experience!

I've had varied experiences with this barber. I would recommend they not tell people on the phone they will accept you for a haircut until 5pm... then deny serving you if you show up at 4:40pm. Which I would perfectly understand if they didnt have their door open and no line at all, save for the half finished haircut already in progress. Felt strange to me to be turning away business during a pandemic - but I ended up being accepted right down the street and ended up paying less. As an owner, losing a regular to a competitor due to not wanting to serve a late customer would drive me absolutely insane. But they generally do a good job should you show up early enough before closing to be let in.

Both my husband and our daughter go to Kean's Hairstyling in Oshawa. My husband is very particular about how he likes his hair cut and is always happy with the service and how is hair is cut. My daughter is 7 and has her hair cut at Kean's hairstyling. They always do such a nice job and my daughter walks away smiling and so proud of her new hair cut. I find the gentleman who work at Kean's hairstyling to be very friendly and my entire family enjoys the experience at Kean's hairstyling every time we go for hair cuts or hair styling.

I came in today as a walk in without an appointment and he welcomed me with open arms. I’m looking forward to my next hot towel shave. Great promotion he has going on. $40 for a hot towel shave and a haircut!

Was the only placed I'd ever get my hair cut. Today that changed. I walked in and there was a person ahead of me. That's fine I ask about the wait and they young barber says I can take one of you next (myself and the other patron who was there before me) there is another Barber so I say great thanks. About 15 mins after waiting the young barber gets a phone call from his friend (the guy that changed his 5pm appoint to 6pm.) And he proceeds to have a conversation saying saying oh I won't bump you made the drive down here and talks like we weren't there... either way I walked out as I'm obviously going to be waiting alot longer now... it would have been no issue if he kept his commitment to us and didnt bump us because friend who couldn't get to his appointment on time or changed his mind. Very bold from new barber whom I've never seen working there. You should never mix business with friendship.

This place is phenomenal. The new owner, Anthony, has taken this place to another level of service. He is an established stylist from Toronto with a great attitude. His work is not only fantastic but extremely modern and upto the current styles and trends one would expect from a high class hair stylist. This place is a hidden gem and a must for anybody to go to. I’ve had several disappointing experiences at various salons to the point where I’ve hated my hair and its been in a messy bun for months! I came across Anthony’s Instagram page decided to give Kean's a go. We met for an initial consult, where I explained, all I’ve wanted is to age gracefully, let my grey hair grow out (without looking like a skunk) and for it to be somewhat low maintenance. Immediately, Anthony understood my vision, explained the process in depth, outlined the cost and a realistic timeline (# of appointments needed) then gave me the reassurance that the warm/brassy tones would be removed in the first session without breakage and it would blend way better than what was previously attempted by a different colourist at a different salon (as you can see from the before pictures it was pretty awful). My appointment with Anthony was booked a couple days after the consult and man did he ever deliver on his word! He did exactly what was discussed and I couldn’t be happier with the highlights & ashy results not to mention the blending he did. Anthony is super friendly~like you’ve know him for years but also extremely professional. I’m so relieved knowing I’ve found Anthony & my new salon going forward.

I used to go there for the past 5 years moving from Scarborough, they up the price from $13.00 for a seniors haircut to $18.00, so after leaving a tip total $20.00. You got to be IFING kidding? I was told it cost of price extra stuff we have to buy, putting a clear plastic sheet on me! I’ll bring my own clear plastic sheet. NOW, I’ll look elsewhere to get a seniors haircut. So how much is for a plastic sheet.

I have had many bad experiences with hair salons, but after seeing the reviews online i decided to give Kean's a chance. I got an appointment with Anthony quickly and as soon as i arrived i was greeted with impeccable service. Anthony spoke to me in depth about what i wanted as well as how much maintenance my lifestyle would be able to offer my new hair. Anthony took his time and showed a very through understanding of hair colouring and technique. All-in-all, Anthony lived up to Kean's name and they have gained a dedicated client. Keep up the great work guys!
