Charlie could be called a lifesaver. I used to a different hair salon (6 years ago now) and they fried my hair! I brought quite the challenge to Charlie but he brought it back to life. It was so fried, Charlie had to give me a short cut to rock while we waited for some healthy regrowth to come in. Now 6 years with Charlie and I’ll never go to anyone else! I love his genuine personality, his skill, knowledge of not just cuts but as well colours without the killing of my hair part! Full on 10/10 service! Great work! Keep it up! <3

I have to update on my last review as Charlie has left and I now have the pleasure of working with Rachel and wow wow wow does she not disappoint. When I had my hair done last my friends couldn't believe the quality and the price. I come from Toronto now to get my hair done here because I know I couldn't find anyone better. A great place always ----‐-------------------------------------------------- I can't speak for Rachel personally but I have seen some of the wonderful work she does while Charlie has done my own hair. Honestly, Charley is a life saver and I wouldn't consider switching stylists (hopefully ever) not only is he talented and gives great advise on hair care, he also works with awesome product and is the most relaxing person to sit there for 3-4 hours with and make small talk with. I am not one for being chatty but with Charley I go in and am excited for the overall experience he provides. He has made my super thin hair feel fuller and be the lightest it has ever been and still feel good.

Where do I even begin? I’ve been seeing Charlie for YEARS and absolutely LOVE what he does every time. I’ve never had a bad experience. I love the fun atmosphere- it’s like hanging out with a friend. Charlie has saved my hair from a terrible box dye during quarantine and I’m still appreciative of that. Plus, the prices are super reasonable for the quality you’re getting. 10/10.

I have been going to Rachel for many years now and I have never once left unhappy. I have been every colour from dark to very light to purple and it's been gorgeous every time. Rachel is an amazing hair stylist and ridiculously talented with blondes, balayage, and bright and vibrant colours. I never walk away disappointed or not loving my hair. She’s the only person other than myself that can actually style my hair properly. I love her blunt honesty. She will not promise anything your hair isn’t capable of and she’s extremely knowledgeable when picking out the right tones for your overall look. I haven’t had Charlie as a stylist but I’ve always admired his work while having my hair done by Rachel. Whatever stylist you choose, your hair will look phenomenal. This will be hands down the best salon in Durham! Also, part of their charm is the comedic banter they have with each other. Makes for a fun appointment! ????
