I have been a client of Montana's since 2007, I moved to Toronto for 11 years and still made the drive back home to Orillia because she is the BEST stylist I have ever known. I don't trust many people with my hair because I have had some really bad experiences. Being blonde is a lot of work to maintain. One of my main goals is to keep my hair long and healthy and Montana is such an educated and experienced stylist she has done just that. She has taught me so much and helped me keep my hair blonde and beautiful for 13 years. She knows exactly what I want without even having to say it, she knows my hair so well she keeps it safe and healthy and doesn't color it past my limits. I can't stress how important this is and how many stylists destroy hair, I have heard so many horror stories from friends and I am so grateful that I don't ever have to worry about my hair with Monty, I trust her 100%. Thank you for taking such good care of me for so many years and thank you for being such a bright light in your clients lives. You are one of the hardest working women I know!

Absolutely thrilled with my first-time experience at Northern Roots! I was connected to the company through their junior stylist Lily who did my colour, wash, and cut a couple weeks ago. Lily, and the owner, Montana, were nothing but friendly, professional, respectful, and kind the entire experience! Lily listened to my concerns about colouring and my postpartum hair loss/texture changes, and was so enthusiastic and encouraging when I was talking myself up to do the big cut that I did! I’m a new mama and Lily made me feel like a brand new woman too. I have only let one other person cut my hair my whole life and I’m so pleased that the time I decided to try someone new that it was Lily. First time I’ve ever cut my hair short and not regretted it! Highly recommend their services, and will definitely be employing them myself again soon! Thank you again!!

It's so nice to go into an appointment knowing you are going to an experienced professional that knows what you want even without the best explanation (I'm not a professional so I'm not the best at knowing what will suit me). 10/10 recommend, I hope nobody else ever has to cut my hair again!
