Darnell is amazing. Went in for a huge transformation and she killed it. Went from long to pixie with a full head of foils. Looks amazing. Very nice salon and make you feel like family while your there. I went in excited but nervous a little but left feeling like a queen. You wouldn’t get the service and comfort like you do here anywhere else. Your not just another person getting a haircut your treated like she’s known you for years. Truly a remarkable experience and highly recommended. I won’t go anywhere else I’ve found my dream salon. Give it a try and you will see. You to won’t go anywhere else. I’m new to the area but not to the city and I’ve had my hair done both by Damell and Melissa. Both do beyond amazing jobs at dying, cut, and styling of my hair. The atmosphere of the salon is cozy and comfy. But they really take the time to educate you if you inquire about hair products and hair overall. Both ladies are friendly and have extreme talent for their craft. I highly recommend them, prices are good but personally you get what you pay for and these women definitely make you feel like a super model when they are finished!

On very short notice last Christmas-time, Darnell took me from hair past my bottom to curls I hardly knew I had above my shoulders. Even squeaking into her schedule, she was gracious and patient; I didn't feel like she rushed me at all (you can imagine from that the experiences I've had elsewhere.) I was so satisfied that I haven't let anyone else touch my hair since then. I'm soon heading up for my next trip to Canada and have my appointment to see the only person I'd trust with scissors near my hair. Can't wait to see Darnell again!

I would give more stars if I could. Darnell the owner is one of the best in Hamilton! A friend recommended her 9 years ago and i still travel 40 minutes for my appointments. She keeps my styles updated. For how professional and experienced she is the price is very reasonable. People say I have good hair -- i tell them i have a GREAT hair dresser!

Some salons have such a chemical scent, like bleaches and nail polish. At Skizzers, the scent is always breezy floral fresh, yet not overpowering like some salons. In summary, Darnell and her salon is awesome.
