I've had my hair done by John for a couple of years now, always perfect. I never have to worry. He's fast, and skilled. Every time. Even if I leave it for 6 or 8 months, it grows out and keeps it's style, which is a rarity.

I've been a client for many years and I really like Alison - she's a great stylist but the atmosphere, most of the time, is far too loud and annoying - I usually leave with a massive headache by the end of my appointment. It's also difficult to call in to make or change an appointment due to the high volume of noise around the reception area. I think it's a real problem when the person answering the phone there cannot hear you and you need to repeat yourself several times - it's unprofessional. It might help to change the design of the set up and move the reception area to where the waiting area is now and have some privacy walls around it.

I have been going to Distinct Hair now for over two years and I always get my hair done by Alison Wise. Alison is always a joy to see and is very funny. We always have a good chat. Even when she was going through a personal crisis she remained upbeat and funny and her co-workers supported her if she was unable to honour an appt. Recently Alison started doing my colour as well and the last time we did it I got so many compliments at work! What I like as well is that I always get a reminder call the day before which helps one as you get older! The professionalism is superb and the prices are not out of line for what they do and the area of the salon!

Friendly staff, beautiful location, prompt service. It was really easy to book my appointment, and the availability was awesome. It was also great to find a salon within walking distance of my apartment. Unfortunately, the day after I have neck and head pain from the washing station, which was really uncomfortable and hard. My haircut was a little shorter than I expected, but I know it's going to grow out and look great.

Alison Wise is Fabulous! best style, cut and highlights. She has an amazing eye for recommending style/cut and colour that really really suits your face - skin tone and bone structure. She helped me grow out my extremely short hair into a new longer style while doing so with fabulous easy transition style cuts. Growing out my hair was easy and I looked great and very professional thanks to Alison. She is truly an artist with an amazing eye and talent!!!! I'm getting complements on my hair for the first time in decades thanks to Alison !!!!. The salon is lovely. The atmosphere very friendly. Everyone is so nice.
