Best Hair Salon ever! Never Disappointed!!!

I went in on my way home to get my bangs trimmed since it was poking me in the eyes. I hoped they could take me as they were two people and only one customer, also bangs trim don't even take 5 mins. They told me I had schedule something!! I said I could wait, I didn't mind. They insisted I schedule a 5 mins trim for some other day! Just for my bangs to be trimmed?! Walk-in are definitely not welcomed!

I have been going to the Lounge Salon since they opened. Amanda (the owner and chief stylist) is amazing - very friendly (but not overly chatty), professional, and givens an excellent hair cut. Very focused on the environment and using sustainable products. Also, I was lucky enough to be able to hire Amanda to do my hair for my wedding. High recommend to any looking for a stylist in the Oakville area.

Amanda is excellent. I have extremely fair hair and it can be very difficult to cut, and also easy to mess up - but she always does a good job. Service is friendly and she always has something to say, after all good conversation is just as important as a good cut. She always gives me both.

Hands down the best salon around!! The salon is SPOTLESS, has a trendy interior, and The Lounge ladies are the BEST crew around! I’ve been a client of Tamzin’s for 5+ years now and she’s always on point with what I’m looking for. I just show her a picture and BAM I have the exact same hair colour and style on me, she’s amazing!!!! Not to mention she’s become a friend over the years and we never run out of things to talk about when I come in for visit. The Lounge Salon has such a great vibe and I 10/10 would recommend!

Amazing place! I was driving by one day and I got a pull to call them and make an appointment! I asked if anyone specialized in curly hair and they said the owner Amanda did and she was taking on one more new client (my lucky day!). I had an appointment with her later that week and it was the best experience ever. They are so warm and welcoming! And I got such a great haircut! I have been back multiple times now to get a cut and colour! The colour has turned out so beautifully and they use green products which I am a fan of!! She always does an amazing job, either following a picture I show her or giving her the freedom to create something even better that she knows I will love. The salon itself is decorated in a welcoming, rustic way. Their sustainable perspective is just one way to show how down to earth the place really is. They make you feel very comfortable by taking the time to understand your specific hair needs, offering advice, and explaining steps. It was wonderful to discover an unpretentious salon with friendly staff that actually listen to my needs. Best of all, The Lounge is eco-conscious and uses products like Davines and World.Hair.Body.Skin that are paraben, silicone, artificial scent, and cruelty free as well as carbon emission neutral and recycles using Green Circle. Happiness is a good hair day! I love The Lounge!

As someone with curly hair, I haven't gone to a hair salon in YEARSSS because of the terrible experiences I've had. That was until my friend referred me to Nicole for a curly cut. I was initially very nervous but Nicole talked me through the whole process and explained everything she was doing to my hair and I instantly trusted her. A week after my appointment and I am still in love with my hair. She has completely converted me LOL and I now have a go-to salon. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

She's so up to date on the latest trends and I always learn something about hair while I'm there. I basically give her an idea/picture of what I'm looking for and from there she works her magic. Worst salon experience here. I got my haircut and they didn't even know what they were doing. She asked me if I would like to blow dry or iron and I said blow dry. She was so naive, she didn't even know how to blow dry despite several attempts. And finally she did iron which I didn't want. She couldn't understand what I wanted and gave me a pathetic haircut. I have to schedule apppintmet with other salon to get this fixed. So basically I will end up spending 100$ for a 50$ cut. I will never go to this salon ever. Not recommend for sure.

I’ve been to this salon several times. My most recent visit was earlier this week. They are a clean, organized salon with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The protocols they have in place for Covid are outstanding. And I just adore the cut and colour Sara did for me! Always happy to go there to get my hair needs looked after.

Yesterday was my first time visiting The Lounge and I was so impressed! First of all, the decor and the atmosphere are truly amazing. I felt so relaxed, and it was unlike any salon I've been to. It was comfy, cozy, and aside from the typical magazines for clients to read, there was a wide collection of books too! Such a cool touch. I was booked for babylights and a root smudge with Tamzin (my first time seeing her), and I told her I wanted a tiny little bit of red to see how it would look on my light hair. I also needed a trim but stressed to her how terrified I am of haircuts because my requested 1 inch always translates to 5 inches with other stylists. Tamzin explained everything thoroughly to me and did a GORGEOUS job. She also cleaned up my ends and reshaped my cut without me noticing any length coming off (this is EXACTLY what I wanted, and I havent been able to find ANY hairdresser who can do this). Besides the colour and cut being exactly what I wanted, the thing that really made the appointment amazing was the fact that i was the ONLY one Tamzin was working on for my entire appointment. I find it incredibly frustrating when I am scheduled with the stylist I want, and I am placed with their assistant for 90% of the service. A lot of the time, the hairdresser I request is only doing literally the applying of the color/foil, and then shouting out to their assistant the rest of what they want done. Yet I still get charged the "master stylist" rate. I usually feel rushed, and like they are trying to squeeze as many people as possible throughout the day. Well this is NOT the case at the Lounge. Like I said, I booked with Tamzin because I wanted her to do my entire service, and she was dedicated to me for my entire appointment. I am so impressed, so happy, and so excited to come back for my next visit. Thanks Tamzin!

10/10 LOVE LOVE LOVE the lounge salon ! I always see Tamzin and am NEVER disappointed, she is such a treat and so lovely to chat with. Every time I have a photo I like or I show her what I want my hair to look like she exceeds my expectations. I have never had to wait for my appointment the lounge salon is super timely. Now with all the Covid measures in place they have reconfigured their salon and its perfect still a beautiful salon and SUPER CLEAN.

I moved to Oakville recently and was pretty nervous to find a new hairstylist to touch up my highlights. I was searching for like a month before finding Tamzin. And I've got to say, I am in love with my new highlights and haircut. I have very dark hair, and have always had trouble finding someone that knows how to work with my hair. Tamzin is very talented, and I'm so happy to have found her. And the scalp message...sooo relaxing. The salon was also very beautifully decorated. I loved the setup they had for their coloring station, and the Christmas decorations were super cute. Hands down the best salon I've ever visited.

The Lounge Salon in Oakville is amazing. This was one of the best experience and hair cut I experienced. Amanda, the owner, is very nice and so talented. I have long curly hair and this was by far the best haircut I ever had. This salon was chosen without any references and based only on their products shown in the window and their ideal location. Nicole has done my hair ( hilites / trim) three times and it has always been a professional, friendly, perfect and covid safe experience. She is the first stylist to acknowledge my fine hair and has always been careful to not burn my scalp on the blow out. The first ever! The lounge salon is friendly, inviting and accommodating. I drive all the way from downtown Toronto as nothing else compares! Tamzin is my stylist and is truly incredible! She truly understands your vision and makes it happen. I have had terrible experiences with my hair being cut too short or dyed the wrong colour and she always makes you feel at ease. Tamzin has great experience with colour and always knows the right balance when you are looking for a change. Sherri is AMAZING! NOT only is she amazing at her craft but also just as a person. She has been my hair dresser for over 10 years. I drive now almost 40 min to see her because she's the best at what she does. Also her personality is so refreshingly genuine and she's just overall badass! This salon also is so un pretentious even though it is very sheek and modern they make you feel comfortable.
