In fairness they tried to get him back in to fix it but he has some issues that made him not want to return. First time in over 20 years that I have had a not so pleasant visit. My name is Kat and this is my husbands account BUT, this past Tuesday I went and got my hair done at In Salon. I had received a gift card for Christmas and was rocking complete covid hair. Not only did Chris act like it wasn't that bad and that my completely labour intensive asks were not a big deal, in my 33 years of living I have never been more satisfied with a hairstyle in my whole life. Not only did I leave the salon absolutely stunning (my opinion), but i left feeling like a better person. @jonny_styles washed my hair....this is an understatement. I didn't mention the huge knot in my neck, but as he was massaging my scalp he noticed it and gave me an absolutely blissful massage that actually cured any pain that I had. I received a git card for Christmas so I got my hair done here, but I will be back for the rest of my life!

I will never go back there again! I wanted a dry cut and they charged me $75. I didn't even get a shampoo or blow-dry. I paid the money, but asked the girl what would they have charged me if I had a shampoo anď blow-dry. She told me it would have been the same price. Biggest rip off ever!!

I can’t say enough good things about this salon! Everyone who works there is so friendly and goes out of their way to say hello to me even if they are with another client. I have been going to John (the owner) for my hair since I was 11 years old. I’ve had multiple hairstyles since going to him (short and longer styles) and I trust him with any style. I always just tell him to do what he wants. There has never been a hairstyle that he has done that I haven’t liked. I also had Chris do my hair for my wedding day! He styled it exactly how I wanted and it stayed the entire day (even through a downpour of rain)! I would highly recommend any of the stylists at this salon.

If I could give 6 stars I absolutely would! I had my hair cut by Sav a few days ago and I said it to him and I’ll say it again, it was quite literally the best hair cut/experience I’ve ever had. Not only was he super nice and receptive to ideas, I told him that I needed something where I could just shower and go, and I got exactly what I asked for. My hair looks AMAZING! I woke up late today and didn’t have time to do anything to my hair before class and I got so many compliments! I 100% know who I will be going to from now on!

It was my first time there, and I found it via Google, based on the fantastic reviews... I was a bit nervous at first, of course, being my first time. However, once there, I was quickly welcomed by a friendly staff, and offered refreshments. I had Janice, and she was extremely knowledgeable! After I asked her for her opinion, she told me what my hair needed, what my hair could handle and showed me what my last hair stylist messed up on. It was very refreshing speaking to someone who offered genuine advice. She was also very welcoming, super nice and made my nerves go away. The end result was wonderful! I cut quite a bit off my hair, and she did an amazing job on it!! Very professional environment, and welcoming atmosphere. I definitely recommend here!

The owner himself and several of his team consulted to make sure they could come up with the best possible way to fix my hair and in a way that I would be satisfied. For many years before meeting John, we've tried other high end salon's and not one made the cut! ( No pun intended). We've been going to John & his team for over 10 years and could not be happier. Their cuts are fresh & up to date and when you leave you can style you own hair without any problems and when that happens its because it is well cut! I've been a client here since 2008. Even when I moved away to North Carolina in 2011, I would still fly in occasionally to get my hair looked after. When I moved back to Oakville in 2014, there was no doubt in my mind that I would continue to be a client. I'm always greeted by a smile and a cheery hello from Casey, the salon manager. My stylist Carmen is wildly talented and she always manages to make me look fantastic, but more importantly she makes me FEEL great. RJ is another top stylist as well. When Carmen took maternity leave, I had no qualms at all about switching to RJ. I always feel like a million bucks after she does my hair. In Salon is hands down the very best hair salon I have ever gone to. Much of the credit goes to the owner, John, who has assembled a wonderful team of beauty and hair experts under one roof. His clear vision for a hair salon where anyone can achieve their very best look, is a reality. I have referred many friends here, and each one has had a great experience and are now loyal clients. I am now living in Ridgeway, but I drive in every six weeks to get my hair cut, coloured and styled. I would never think of going anywhere else!!

I have been going to In Salon for over 10 years to get my haircut (by John) and can say that their customer service, attention to detail, and the constant focus on updated styling, is second-to-none. In Salon staff make it a point to develop a relationship with their customers, which makes your hair cut experience that much better. Whether it is offering you a beverage while you wait, or making it a point to remember specific details from previous interactions that you've had - it is very rare that you find staff who pay attention to this degree and make an effort. If you're looking for a great haircut experience, I would highly recommend In Salon. Most will at first comment that prices are on the higher-end, though you get more than you pay for in terms of quality and service. Keep it up!

The worst salon experience I've ever had. I was booked by mistake with a junior stylist--however, this guy took almost 4 hours to do a basic color, partial highlight and cut. His technique was horrible--he practically straddled my lap while cutting the front of my hair. I ended up with choppy layers, blonde tiger stripes, on top of almost black base color. He checks with the owner no less than 4 times to figure out when to take the toner off!? Horrible. Owner attempted to fix, costing me another 3 hours a day later, but even that was awkward. Give them credit for attempting to correct but I will never be back and would never recommend.

I had the pleasure of visiting this salon on Tuesday evening. My stylist was Liz and to be honest I was pretty nervous to have someone new touch my hair. Being a stylist myself, I am very particular with what I want and most of the time I leave a salon very unhappy and hating my hair. NOT THIS TIME!!!!!! I think Liz literally pulled the image of what I wanted out of my brain and made it happen on my head! The color turned out really good however, the hairdresser was teasing me through out my whole appointment a couple minutes after I sat down to get my hair toned. He also kept invading my personal space by grabbing my arms and my shoulders to the point where I didnt feel like I could relax nor did I want to with him around. I went to In Salon after a tragic haircut - practically shaved at the back and different lengths in the front. John was very professional and made a bad haircut much, much better. I have continued to go to John, and have never been happier with my hair. The whole salon is so friendly and comfortable, from the friendly receptionist who greets you at the door, hangs up your coat and offers you a beverage, to the wonderful hair wash and scalp massage, and then the haircut. Great service. I have been here several times and always received good service. Pleasant atmosphere and welcoming receptionist. It is pricey though, much more than other salons in the area.

From the phone call to book an appointment to leaving the salon, I enjoyed every minute of my experience with In Salon. The staff are friendly, professional, and more importantly, skilled. The atmosphere was very clean and professional. The price was also competitive, I pay about $60-$70 per hair cut everywhere I go. I have very curly hair, which unfortunately, almost all hairdressers I have ever visited could not cut well. The hair stylist, Janice, did an incredible job and gave me one of the best hair cuts I have ever received. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with In Salon. I will come back to this salon for my next hair cut, and I recommend this salon to everyone.

With COVID being a concern they've taken every precaution necessary for it to be safe, it is impeccably clean and I was never worried while I was in there.
