I’ve been a happy customer of A Touch of Class for a number of years. After 1.5 years without a cut, I was happy to be welcomed back by new stylist, Emily. I appreciate that we sat for a few minutes before she washed my hair, to talk about what I wanted and so she could see my hair as it was. She offered great suggestions and gave me an excellent cut that I’ll be able to maintain. I can highly recommend Emily. Thank you again - it’s great to have a good cut again.

Jill did my hair for my sister's wedding that's coming up this weekend. I have lots of hair, it's curly, and has had box dye to it in previous years. She did a balayage, that was honestly perfect- however I just didn't feel like myself afterwards- I think it was just such a huge shock and change to what I had before (dark brown) and I actually cried while leaving - Gary offered to make it darker to something I would leave the salon loving, however I just wanted to leave- partially embarrassed for crying in a salon lol. After a few days, it's resonated with me, and I honestly love it now. I've gotten so many compliments on it, I think it was just a big adjustment to make. I am thoroughly pleased with my hair and would love to come back again.! Jill did a fantastic job and I would recommend this salon to anyone wanting a change big or small.

Got a Japanese permanent hair straightening for a reasonable price, especially for Oakville, plus a trim and a bottle of special shampoo. VERY impressed with the quality and speed, the only thing I'd say is watch out for the temperature setting on the hair dryer, felt almost burning hot at times but I still really really appreciate the service. I initially went to touch of class to get my hair permanently straightened. I was refused the service because I had bleach in my hair and was told that it would damage my hair if they had done it, instead they offered me other treatments that were less damaging. I appreciate and respect that decision because it showed me that they truly cared about the health of my hair and not just money. I went to Sara for a colour and cut and loved the result. She spent time listening to what I wanted and did exactly that. I get so many compliments on the health and look of my hair now! After many years of bad experiences from other places, I have finally found a salon that I am truly comfortable with. I highly recommend this salon to everyone! My usual hairdresser is in downtown Toronto (close to work) but with the pandemic and working from home, I was looking for something closer to home. I'm so glad I have found Gary and the staff at A Touch of Class Hair Salon. They are professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I recently had the balayage colouring service. I provided Gary some photos of what I wanted, he made some recommendations in terms of the colour/shade and I'm super happy with the results! He was very knowledgeable and gave me tips to maintain the colour. I'll definitely be going back! Thanks, Gary!

If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. I chose to go to A Touch Of Class based off of the reviews but I advise you not go here, I went to get an Xtenso hair treatment which permanently straightens your hair and de-frizzes it and during the two hour process the lady was using the straightener near my scalp and burning it with the hot steam and pulling and yanking my hair repeatedly then the lady told me not to wash my hair for 3 days for the treatment to work and told me to use sulfate free shampoo/conditioner which I did. 3 days later I took a shower and washed my hair with sulfate free shampoo/conditioner and after that my hair was NOT straight at all and was NOT de-frizzed in fact my hair was more frizzy than before on top of that there is a red patch growing on my scalp that has puss coming out of it all the time and it stings it was bleeding two days ago. I’ve booked my doctors appointment to get that checked. The lady’s name who did my hair is Rina Saleh. Do NOT go here. Will be going back for a refund.

The Salon has a nice atmosphere, but I felt the girl who cut my hair was kind of unsure of what do to, I asked to make some layers and I even showed a picture to her, but the result wasn't that close... I may go again if I don't find anything better, but I didn't fall in love with it...

I had an OK experience here. Sara was very nice but by the end I wasn't loving my cut. The length at the bottom a lot shorter than what we agreed on (above shoulder rather than collar bone), the layers were cut in a way that cut off the curl rather than accentuate it and it was too thick on the top and thin on the bottom.

My hair is naturally very curly and frizzy so I wanted something that would save me hours of styling and products. I went to A Touch Of Class for an Xtenso treatment. To be honest, I had only hoped for the frizz to go away but my hair feels so much healthier, softer and shinier. I got the treatment done almost two weeks ago and havn’t touched a straightener since! All I do is wash and let it air dry; I couldn’t be happier. The salon exceeded my expectations, their staff was great and makes you feel very comfortable and welcome. I’ll definitely be going back!

The hair stylist I had was Gary. He's considered a master stylist so his service costed an additional $10 which ended up being well worth it. I showed him a couple pictures of what I wanted and how I usually have it styled. No word of a lie, he replicated the photo. I wanted bouncy, feathered layers with long side bangs and he killed it. He asked me so many questions, took his time, and was so considerate. I usually get very nervous when getting my hair cut because ive been traumatized, like im sure we all have, from terrible past hair cuts. He made me feel so comfortable that I ended up telling him to do whatever he thought was best because I had that much confidence in him. 100%, great experience. He's my regular now.

My experience was amazing! The hairdresser (Susie/Susan) really listened to what I was looking for. I felt she was very professional and knew just how to go about taking 10 inches off my hair! I wanted a drastic change, and going from long to short hair is a big deal. So I asked her to take it slow, going shorter & shorter until it looked & felt right. Up until March I was coming weekly to see Elizabeth (fantastic - color, cut, blow outs). With several inches of grey now showing I returned but sadly Elizabeth was no longer there so I booked in with Hazel. She gave me some options and we decided to strip the old color out as much as possible without damaging the hair and matched in the new color to my grey (i love the natural color of my hair) and cut my hair. She did a fantastic job. She warned me it would be orange but it is so much less than expected. Will return in December for Hazel to do another "color stripping". Excellent work!

After I posted my previous review, Gary, the owner and master stylist sent me an email message apologizing for the bad experience I had with Sara. He wanted to give me a refund for the keratin treatment and offered to have a look at my hair to fix the horrible haircut done by Sara. He did his best blending the choppy layers without cutting them shorter but the damage was already done. I was happy with Gary, he showed me he cares about his customers and their satisfaction seems to be his first priority. So I would give him 5 stars for professionalism and customer service. As for Sara, I would never recommend people with short length hair like mine, to have a haircut with her.

As for many other people, my barber was in downtown Toronto near my workplace, but since I've been working at home full time I wanted something closer to home. This place is terrific. Sara is so kind and attentive, efficient and thorough, and does excellent work. I was a bit hesitant to go to a salon that I figured caters mostly to women, but Sarah put me right at ease. I highly recommend A Touch of Class to anyone looking for a great haircutting experience with excellent value for the level of service.
