I am employed as an esthetician at Tango Salon and work closely with the proprietor, Heesun. She has been very accommodating and supportive while I have been building my clientele. Heesun is an excellent hairstylist and colorist who carefully assesses her clients requests with thoughtful advice and suggestions. She consistently goes above and beyond to serve her clientele with expertise that provides beautiful results. Heesun has a loyal and thriving clientele because of her skill but also her gentle and caring manner. I highly recommend Tango salon for great services and a friendly "family like" atmosphere to work in!

Was lost when I moved from Vancouver and had to leave my stylist of 10+ years. Before I found Tango Salon, I went back to Vancouver for my monthly appointments for about a year or so - during that time I tried several salons, but the quality was not up to my standards. Finally found Miki and she's amazing. Everyone there is also very nice, professional and very experienced. Would highly recommend.

My new favourite go-to salon! A morden trendy salon on store street!! . I had my haircut at Tango Hair a week ago and I'm in love with the results. Heesun,owner, was my stylist and she did a good job. I wasn't afraid of going unbalanced haircut. She really knows what she's doing. The price was fair. I will definitely come back!.

I have been a client here since it opened. The staff are friendly. Prices are very reasonable. Hee Sun is very attentive, with a wash after the cut, and a soothing, relaxing head massage. Located downtown, it is about a five minute walk from the Yates and Discard parkades.

Hee Sun did an amazing job fixing a botched layered curly bob I got a few months ago. She was caring, attentive and spent two hours giving me possibly the best haircut I've had in a long time! My curly bob is now manageable and easy to take care of. I am very grateful and I had a lovely and wonderful time chatting with her. If you have naturally curly hair like me and struggle finding someone who can shape it in a way that looks good, look no more, Hee Sun will do a great job.

There have been absolutely zero times in my life that I've had such a positive experience at a hair salon that I've been immediately compelled to write a review as soon as I got home, until now. I just had a cut and perm done by Hee Sun, and she did such an amazing job of both. I love it! I've been getting my hair permed for a few years now and have never been quite happy with the results, but she just seemed to know my hair. This is easily the best cut and perm I've ever had, will be returning a happy customer for sure.

I'm not usually the type to write reviews, but really wanted to for Tango Salon. My husband and I were both there for a haircut recently, and I also had my brows waxed while I was there. Both my husband and I had a groupon (money is always a bit tight so we try to save where we can). In my experience, many business's brush you off or hurry you through when you have a groupon because they don't think it's worth it. Nothing could be further from the truth at Tango. Rei cut my hair and Kate cut my husbands - both were friendly and unhurried haircuts. Both ladies had amazing precision and attention to detail, and were very careful to ask questions, explain as they were going, and do their best to make sure we had exactly the cut we wanted. And successfully! Honestly one of the best cuts I've had (and my husband was happy with his as well). Maria did my brows, and she was also great! Brows were exactly how I asked for them, and she was a lovely woman. All in all, everything about this salon was professional, friendly, affordable, and completely unpretentious. I highly recommend Tango Salon :)

I am new to Victoria and found Tango Salon on a Google search for Salons that use Matrix color. The location is convenient for me by bus so I made an appointment with Heesun, the owner. I had my color mixture with me so it was easy for Sunny to take care of my needs. I also wanted a trim and blowout which she did with skill. I really enjoyed relating to Sunny and my hair turned out beautiful. I also needed a manicure so Hanneia the esthetician gave me an expert French manicure. She and I bonded while she did my manicure so I decided to come back a few days later for Lash extensions and a pedicure. The Lash extensions are absolutely gorgeous!! I don't have to wear mascara and my eyes always look amazing. These ladies are the BEST! I thoroughly enjoyed my Spa day and I have been back a second time. They treat me like Royalty and family. I love the professional and warm experience each time. Thankyou Heesun and Hanneia. I love you!!

Thank you Miki !!! I consulted with 3 salons trying to find a solution to fix my frizzy hair. All resulted in disappointing suggestions until I met with Miki at Tango. She suggested treatment that involved japanese straightening, of which she is excellent at. She was so efficient and thorough. I love my hair!!

I have been very busy lately, and while travelling to Victoria, I needed a hair cut. Positive reviews lead me to Tango Salon. Going some place for the first time is always risky. Everything about my experience was wonderful! Very clean and modern Salon, friendly & professional owner (and staff), and Megumi gave me a very nice hair cut and a great scalp massage. I felt totally pampered and would go back, without reservation!

I love Tango! I have been going to Tango for almost two years now and I've had the best haircuts ever! For a downtown salon, the prices are so reasonable. Heesun and Megumi are great stylists. The decor is upscale and atmosphere is friendly. It won't be Victoria's secret for long. You must go!

I was lucky enough to be able to get an appointment shortly after the COVID-19 restriction were lifted regarding hair salon. I was met at the door and provided with a mask and hand sanitizer. The chairs used were staggered to leave enough space for social distancing and Hee Sun made a point every time she needed a new tool to work on me, to pick a freshly disinfected one. She manage to make me feel extremely safe all while keeping a very funny conversation going. While I thought she was done way too soon (I really enjoyed her conversation) I was amazed at my hair. She is highly skilled and made me look better than ever. I cannot recommend this salon enough, you will be extremely satisfied.
