The best Barber shoppe in town! I went on a recommendation and I'm glad I did. Enter the shop and immediately felt like a regular, chatting with gentlemen who have been going for years. The barbers Happy and Tim have created an amazing atmosphere in the shop, history and stories cover the walls. Tim helped me find a new cut that is completely my own, even advising how I can style my beard in the future. With the best quality and best price I have come across, I will definitely come back for my future cuts!

A friend of mine recommended this place and I am glad he did! So far I only met Tim (who cut my hair and a my son's hair a few times), he's a super nice guy and he knows what he's doing. It's almost like going for a chat with a friend, who happens to be great at cutting hair. A walking distance from home doesn't hurt either but there's a lot of parking, if needed.

My barber was Tim and he was excellent, we had a great conversation and I almost forgot I was getting my haircut. The service is exceptional and the cut was great. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Happy (yes this is his name) is easily the best Barber on Vancouver Island. Happy is one of those rare people with natural esthetics and talent. I've never seen anyone more expertly use clippers on comb to perfect transitions. After Happy cuts your hair have someone look for errant hairs or inconsistences and you will only hear compliments. This is not the cheapest place in town and not the most expensive. Be advised it's walk in only and Happy sometimes calls it a day early afternoon.

It was great discovering in Oak Bay one of the few pockets of civilization this side of Newfoundland, but it was an extra bonus to meet the best barber I've gone to in 60+ years - Happy Coxford at the Oak Bay Barber Shoppe. Always an excellent hair cut from Happy, accompanied by cheery conversation and good music amidst his eclectic collection of mementos from far and wide. If you're looking for a happy haircut experience, this is the place! And the price is right, too.

The place is good and has a very local feel to it. I went here for the first time and Tim welcomed me to the shop! I gave 4 stars because, I felt that Tim cut my hair too fast within 8 to 10 minutes (I had very long hair & went very short). Though it is one thing to be fast, I feel like cutting that quick is not doing the job properly, but I guess he is a professional and has a lot of practice which built his speed over the years! I'd still love to go here, but I wish they take a bit more time to cut and start including SHAMPOO with haircuts soon! ????‍♂️

I’ve been going to Tim for years and would never go anywhere else! You’ll have people asking you where you got the haircut and the experience alone is amazing! Gotta say that Happy gives the best haircuts in town. Hes been my barber for 26 years and I'm still married! Conversations cover the entire spectrum of the human condition and are almost always hilarious. You could spend a day just exploring the stuff on the walls. Highly recommend - I give it a rare 5 stars.
