Margo has been my hair stylist for many years. She cuts and styles my hair according my type of curl and enhances the curl by using the Deva Curl Products. I trust what she suggest as she herself has curly hair. Margo also colours my hair / highlights and helps me choose which colour would be best for me. I also look forward to her attention she gives to me from playing my favorite music, neck rub while washing my hair and just overall sense of "its my time" to relax and enjoy the overall experience. Margo has been my stylist for about 12 years now. Before I met Margo I used to pack a hat to absolutely every hair cut I went to. I always left the salon looking ridiculous. I have crazy curly hair, and I just couldn't find someone to properly deal with it. A couple really fantastic things about Margo are that she really listens to what her client wants, but she's also totally honest about whether or not that cut will work for you. She'll tell you if it's going to need hours of work each day to look good, or if you will have to be back in her chair every 3 weeks to maintain it. She has a good eye, good instincts and so much skill. I've sent friends of mine to see Margo. Both curly haired gals and those with straight hair have all been happy with her services. Margo is also a fantastic colourist. I look forward to my visits with Margo. It's a fun salon, with a great atmosphere, product selection, and most importantly I can leave my post hair cut hat at home! :)

Since moving to Victoria 4 years ago for school I always waited until Christmas or the summer to go home to my local hairdresser. This summer I was unable to go home for my biannual haircut and so I search for a hairdresser in Victoria who had a good reputation for cutting curly hair. Thank goodness I found Margo. She took my overgrown mop of hair and turned it into a fun, fresh hairstyle for summer. She also promised that I would not need a haircut for at least another 6 months. When that time is up, however, I will be certain to head back to Fresh Hair for another cut. The salon is so nicely decorated and Margo is so easy to talk to. I recommended her to all my friends (curly haired and straight haired) I would definitely recommend her for any other lost sheep out there who need a good cut.

Fresh Hair is not just for curly girlies! I have straight/wavy hair and Margo did an amazing job cutting it. She is also great at colouring, which is pretty rare. In my experience, stylists tend to be good at one or the other, but not both! Best of all, Margo is so incredibly accommodating that she even invited me to bring my doggie to my Friday evening appt. I was her last client, it was the end of a very long week, and I would have worried about not being home in time to keep him company. She wanted me to relax, so welcomed me to bring him. He loved it - and I went home with sushi recommended by Margo from the amazing little restaurant next door, all beautifully coiffed, relaxed, and happy. Nothing better than being able to trust and relax at the salon.
