I have very long hair. My haircut was done by Sam. Was very nervous as I didn’t cut my hair for 15 years and I wanted to shorten my hair. Sam made me feel comfortable and ease the process. She is very funny too. I loved my haircut. Will definitely go back.

i had beautiful long hair. i went in for a haircut and balayage, showed her the picture and she did exactly opposite. the haircut was supposed to have a lot of layers, which it didn't also the balayage was not the color i wanted and it had two different shades which looked digusting

My friend went for a purpleish balayage and we've showed plenty of pictures of what my friend wanted so there's very little room for misunderstanding. The estimated cost given to us for the entire hairdo was supposed to be around $250. The results were underwhelming and disappointing. Instead of balayage my friend had streaks, out of which there's a small portion of her hair that didn't even get coloured so it's just bleached hair and the colour wasn't even close to what she wanted because it was BURGUNDY and not purple. We were charged $180 so we can only assume that the person colouring her hair either just got lazy or finished up fast to move on to her other clients.

Not a value for money, this place is good on infra but need more interactive dresser who can understand what a person is looking for styling and cut should be treated in a fashion that it suits individual rather than giving same machine trim style to all. Innovative approach and individual styling element is missing rest place is good on infra and aptly located.

I highly suggest not to go to this location. Personally i felt huge disrespect regarding service. My appointment was at 11 and by how i reached at 11.08 and they didn’t take me for getting late for 8-10 mins. Sometimes person gets late by regular traffic and so. I have seen a better courtesy and good service at other location of head-shoppe so suggesting you if you like to not to choose scotia square one.

I visited said hair salon today for my daughters hair to be cut washed and blow dried now let me start by saying that she is black and she was a little upset about getting her hair cut not kicking and screaming but jus tears this lady went through all the motions of washing it and conditioning it and then she decided that she wasn't gonna cut off the amount of hair I had requested when I agreed to less she then decided she wasn't going to cut it all when I call to make a complaint I am told that if a child don't want there hair cut they don't have to but personally I think that they didn't know what to do with my child's hair I would have been grateful if they just had of said from the beginning they couldn't do it

I went to get my hair done here thinking it would be a wonderful and relaxing experience. I had specifically stated I wanted an experienced stylist, and they had put me with a stylist fresh out of school. She absolutely ruined my blonde hair. I had went in for highlights and to brighten my already bright blonde hair, and I left with orange roots, brown/red hair and full of tears. Not only did she mess up my hair on a thursday afternoon, she then said she could only fix it for me on MONDAY , AND she still charged me even though I was leaving full of tears and upset. I had to call the manager to get a refund, and now swear that I will never go back.

Prices are absolutely insane, you can go pretty much anywhere else in the city and get the exact same thing done for half the price. If you want anything besides a simple trim be prepared to pay hundreds of dollars because they charge you extra for everything.
