Visited them first time after all these almost perfect reviews but my visit was a disappointment. They never listens to your suggestions i told them please I don’t want to shorten my hair but i want a nice hair cut . But i guess to reduce their job of colouring the long hair they did it purposely ; chopped my hair more than half my hair is too short now. I’m really upset with this they almost chopped my long long hairs into long bobs .

Domenech is one of the very best in Hair styling Business in Toronto. I have been here and have had haircuts at various different locations in the city and from the experiences I can tell you that this man is incredibly good at his work and should always be visited for a haircut. I found him very disciplined, speaks very well,well dressed and extremely good at understanding your needs .The way he manages the appointments and ensures he gives enough time for your hair cutting is something you will definitely like about him. When you go to him asking for new hairstyle he analyzes it and compares it with your hair and suggests what will work for you best based on texture of your hair and length. He would also tell you why would the style which you wanted will not work for you if he finds some mismatch. I would strongly recommend Domenech for a hair cut as the price of the hair cut and the effort he puts in to get a nice quality cut is extremely good. After getting haircut and paying him you feel sometimes you paid less . Note: I was initially referred by a friend and now I realize why he was so right when he referred me .Reference helps as it passes on experiences and saves you . I myself is a very selective person and I just don't go anywhere without doing research hence feel free to visit him once and I am sure you will not be disappointed

Just from the sound of my voice. I have very short hair and was hoping to get a taper cut. But no... he said "there is a girl here who can do your hair" But then decided to hang up on me when I explained that I'm queer and wanted a mens hair cut. Shockingly disrespectful. Believe what people are saying, they're the absolute best in terms of service, calling to fit you in the best possible spot, double checking for feedback and more. Someone spoke of a $50+ haircut but the prices are just about the same as anywhere else (Men's ~$19 - $26) and you don't feel like you're tipping cause you have to, but because you want to. Definitely worth going out of your way for!

Sedi is very rude! I called her to make an appointment for shaping eyebrows and getting a haircut she talked to me in a very rude way as if she was talking to her maid or something!!! When I asked her for an appointment she said I just do eyebrows for my own costumers and then she said I don't have time even if I had time I wouldn't give it to you!!! And then without saying good bye she just hung up the phone. I was shocked I couldn't believe what just happened. I just called and asked for an appointment she doesn't even know me why did she talk to me like that??? Who does she think she is??? She could have said I don't do eyebrows or sorry I don't have time. I have been there once before for a haircut. She is not nice at all and her job was mediocre and not so good. Also, the floor was covered with hair. They don't clean after each haircut they do it at the end of the day I guess. I was walking on people hair it was disgusting.

He is very experienced and knows a lot about how hair acts and gives tips on managing uncooperative hair. The environment is also very welcoming. 5/5 would recommend this place for fantastic haircuts at a reasonable price.

On top of that, they are polite, punctual, and make you feel welcome. I've been coming here for many years and gladly commute for over an hour. All the staff at Hairline are outstanding. I have had the pleasure of going there for now over fifteen years ever since I was a teenager. When I first sat down there , it was Domenic who cut my hair and back then I can remember how well of a job he did . Today that has remained the same and every time I leave, I am equally satisfied with my experience at Hairline. I know people till this day who still travel many lengths to still go see Domenic because they don’t trust anyone else with their hair. May seem like a non issue for most people but when your used to a certain level of professionalism, skill and care that someone displays every time your there , it’s very hard to find someone to replicate that. So thanks Dom and the staff at Hairline. I hope to be coming to you guys for another fifteen years.

Visited them once after all these almost perfect reviews but my visit was a disappointment. Domenic took care of me and he couldnt deliver what I asked for (faded bald). Instead I had uneven sides on top of that clipper lines were visible. He had absolutely no idea how to cut faded bald.Tried to give him another chance, called him twice but he seemed trying to avoid giving me an appointment since he wanted to book me four days ahead from the day i wanted on both calls. These high ratings does not reflect the quality of DOMENIC's work in my opinion. Overrated place and a barber. I would not recommend Domenic if you need a faded bald or precise haircut.

I've been going to hairline for the past 6 years and I can undoubtedly say that it is the best baraber shop in Toronto. I'm a guy who likes to try different hairstyles and I have never walked out without a smile on my face. The entire staff is so welcoming, helpful, and understanding! The prices are very reasonable too and I don't think I would trust any other barbers as much as I trust the ones at Hair Line. It was my first time getting a haircut from here. I got a haircut from Domenic and it was awesome. Let me tell you, he caters to your style. If he thinks something might not work with the style you want, he'll tell you why. He doesn't treat people like a number, rather he treats each haircut as a piece of art. I used to go to another barber shop and they didn't do a great job. Domenic was able to fix my hair. He can really see the full potential of how a haircut style should be with the type of hair you have. In addition, the atmosphere of the barber shop is really welcoming and friendly, they treated me like I was family. I highly recommend this place to get a haircut!

This place is probably the best place I've been to, even in comparison to those $60+ places I've tried. A sticking point for me were people that listend to my needs and opinions, something I struggled to find anywhere else, which I was able to find here! Which was on top of them being, very skilled, taking their time, and walking you through the process so you don't get lost. Will definitally come again!
