Best hair cut and service I've received in my life. Not only did they listen to what I had wanted to do with my hair, they gave me insight in how my hair would much better suit my face which no other hair dresser or barber has ever done for me. Lina who had cut my hair was very kind and didn't seem annoyed to have a bit of a chat while working, which I really appreciated. You could tell with the amount of time and concentration during the cut that she was making sure to get her work to an appropriate standard. If you want to have an experienced and talented hair designer I would suggest Lina as your go too.

*update - I will never be back. GIANNI insists on cutting your hair short even when he says he won't and denies he is while he is cutting it. If you have or want long hair, do not go to Gianni. Excellent one on one service. I've been there 3 times now and the stylist is never working on another client while they are with you.

It was my very first time at this salon. I did a treatment called ''Brazilian Blowout''on Oct5th, 2018 with Amandine. She is a great stylist, very patient, takes her time, does a great job.I will definitely recommend her!. I will come back to Amandine again if the price was lower.The price for this treatment cost me 457$ tax included. My hair pass my solderers by a bit. Not long at all. I think the price was a bit expensive for the length of hair I have. . The treatment was pretty long. It took her 3h30 to finish which is understandable since it is a long process for this kind of treatment. I'm loving my treatment since I did have curly hair, now it is straight.. They said it will last 6 months. I will write a review in 6 months. stay tuned!

I went to Figaro a few weeks ago for a cut and some balayage. I had already had balayage done that was growing out, and wanted more colour to help blend it with my natural colour. I had originally asked for highlights but they knew what I was looking for and suggested balayage instead, for a more gradual look which turned out exactly as I'd hoped! They had also made another suggestion for my haircut so that I would get everything I wanted out of my new hair. It turned out beautifully. Not only was everyone very friendly, but I really appreciate how professional and skilled they are, where they can make great suggestions to offer you the most out of your new look! Thank you!

Very professional salon. This is by far the best salon I have been to in Toronto I don't put reviews but this one was needed. I did colour my hair and cut and looks amazing. Just next time I'm gonna cut my hair longer I cut it more than I should. Anyways they know what to do and I forgot the name of the lady who did mine she was veryyyyyyyyyyyy professional. I highly recommend this salon. You get what u want. And the owner is amazing she went through everything with how to style it, what colour and everything was perfect.

If your hair is in need of some love, Gianni is who you need to see. It had been over 6 months since I'd treated/trimmed my hair and he knew just what to do. Gianni gave me the most beautiful balyage, and the cut suited me perfectly. The service is not quick, but perfection never is! I did leave happy from the salon but only later did I realize that the finished look of my new hair didn’t look the quality worth the amount of money I paid. Over $300! Lemme say tho, the cut was done amazing! Sure they use a lot of products and the process is long but you can go to any other salon and get the same results as me for MUCH less. Had to log into my other email so I could write a second review. Lina might be one of my favourite people in the world. She does an AMAZING job to tend to the customer while listening to how you want your hair to look. Came in to get my second perm and decided to do tighter curls this time. She made sure not to have my hair damaged at all. Came out beautifully and soft! Gave me incredible layers and the perfect short length for my face shape. Makes me feel so confident about my hair and how healthy it looks! I can honestly say that I could move halfway across the world and I would still only trust Lina with my hair. Thank you!

I’ve given a 5 star review before, but it’s been a few years since my last one. For any woman who wants to have celebrity-quality hair, see Gianni. He’s an Italian God! I originally came in frustrated, with terrible split ends and layers and layers of colour damage from failed attempts at other salons, each stylist I previously saw making my hair appalling and harder to fix. I then came to Gianni, he talked me over what he recommended and I’ve never looked back. What I love is that Gianni will recommend what he believes would suit me best but also works closely with you to try and accommodate to your expectations, realistically of course. I’ve always left at the end of a visit in love with my beautiful hair! The best part is that as my hair grows out, I get even more compliments than I do when it is first done, which is a big nod to his skill level (he’s won awards and it shows). As a word of warning, depending on what you do, it CAN be expensive, but it’s 100% worth it in the end. But if you’re on a budget, he can work with you to try and achieve what you’re after. Great hair isn’t cheap but cheap hair doesn’t look great. You will not regret it!

Amazing amazing amazing! I came in looking for a blonde balayage and booked with Michelle. They took a before and after photo of my hair and it was a dramatic difference! My hair is naturally dark brown and the way she was able to blend my hair color with the blonde is beautiful. It was a bit pricey but it was worth it! It's close to platinum highlights in some areas and I've gotten so many compliments on my hair! Would highly recommend and go back!

Today, I had my hair done at Figaro Hair Salon by Lina and Elena. Lina is a professional hair stylist did a very good job by doing balayage and laminate for my hair. About a month ago, I've had a bad experience at another place where my hair colour end up completely wrong. So, I went to see Elena ( Art director) at Figaro Salon and asked her to fix the mistake. Elena took very professional approach advising it to be done in a few steps avoiding damagiing my hair. Elena and Lina work as a team. Elena has a very good esthetic taste and can give unique professional advice. I am very happy with the result.

The girls are real artists and a mastery of their subject is presented by awards of prominent competitions. Except me, my husband and half a dozen of friends are their clients as well. Loved this place. I had my wedding coming up and was so nervous about getting a balayage. I was looking for a copper balayage. They gave me correct advice and suggesting color which suits my skin tone by giving me a natural look. They spent about 3 to 4 hours and also gave me styling which I was looking for. My friend told me about this place and so I looked it up and did read the reviews which were good so I went but I had the worst experience. I honestly do not know why they have such a high ratings I wanted grey umbre and not only I didn't get what I wanted after 6 hours, the highlights are terrible with horrible uneven lines. I would never go back there again and would never recommend it to anyone.

I enjoyed my visit at Figaro. I love my hair, even though I didn't get what I wanted when I went in. My hair looks great. The staff was friendly. The only thing I was not impressed with was their pricing for my highlights. it was over 300 dollars in the end. Later I went and looked up other salons with great reviews and the most they charged with the length of my hair was about 190. I think for the price alone I will not be returning for hair colour here. I feel like I was overcharged.

By far the absolute BEST hair experience of my life!! After having a terrible experience at another salon, I did some research and discovered this hidden GEM of a salon that is located so conveniently close to my house. They have plenty of FREE parking which I love as well. The salon itself is super trendy and well equipped as well as clean!! The staff are AMAZING from the very moment I walked into the salon without an appointment to ask some questions, I was greeted with smiles and welcoming arms. I was fortunate that they had a cancellation so Lina was available to help me colour correct my hair. Together with Elena, the two discussed the plan of "attack" and together they made magic. Elena was up front from start to finish making sure to update me along the way throughout the entire process. She also made sure to tell me how much everything would cost with no surprise add ons like so many other salons. I loved the before and after pictures and the fact that they truly made me feel comfortable throughout my entire visit. Lina styled my hair so nicely that I can truly say no other stylist has ever done for me before. Best service, great experience and I can't wait to go back for more!!

THE BEST hair salon in Toronto! I've known Figaro Salon for over 10 years. The service you get there is second to none. Being a typical guy, I admit I started taking my haircut for granted... until I found myself needing a quick one before an urgent trip and not able to get an appointment on a short notice (they are good so they are usually busy). Every time I ended up going elsewhere I regretted it. When Natalia cuts my hair, I feel and look like a million bucks.

I wanted to wait a few days for my permed hair to settle before writing this review. First off, I don't know why I did not see Gianni sooner, he was great! I had a bad perm experience at a different salon a year ago and was reluctant to get another one (bc other salons who do perms had positive reviews too). Had initial call (with I believe to be Elena(?), she was informative and pleasant. When I arrived, Gianni and I talked about my hair and his experience. It definitely put me at ease. Although perms are standard and nothing creative about it, Gianni is skilled and it shows. My curls look fabulous! Will definitely be going back for other services.

I went to Figaro a couple of months back and received quite a few treaments, I got my hair ombréd and the next day went back for a kerasilk treatment because I was going to travel and had very frizzy hair in humidity! My experience was amazing Elena and Lina were the woman who worked their magic on me!! The espresso machine was a god sent and snacking on coco sticks was even better!! And the work they do and knowledge is crazy I learned so much about my hair and for a first time at a Toronto hair salon I was extremely impressed I cant wait to go back and my hair is still silky smooth even after my trip and the colour is amazing!! ❤️❤️❤️

I hate to rate like this only for one person in a business but I had to. I could not believe my ears. I called to book a haircut appointment for the first time. The lady who answered the phone was absolutely rude and unprofessional. I asked her if she can book for 5:40pm. She said: the hair stylist has a customer at 5:00pm and he/she is going to do her highlight first and then he can take you at 5:30pm. I said, ok I will try my best to make it at 5:30pm. She said, no, if you come at 5:40pm he/she will not take you !!!! I paused since I was shocked and said, oh ok .. thank you ! and she hung up without saying anything!!! Who would do that on the phone with a first-time customer?!!!! I was so looking forward to go there. But I am sure I can find a better salon near me.

I just had the absolute worst haircut in my life at Figaro salon. And my hair style is pretty simple. It's called a buzz cut. The girl managed to screw that up. I had to point out the patches she left out. Even after all the "fixing" my hair looks like it's been plucked out by a bunch of blind seagulls. I probably would have done a better job doing it by myself, drunk and blindfolded. I don't understand how people can be so bad and do this for a living.

I've been to a lot of hair dressers over the years but this salon is by far the best color I've ever had. They do all the wonderful parts of the salon experience, coffee, chit chat and making you feel beautiful, but the COLOR... As a blond we all know how in a few washes everything can be yellow and yucky... but not here. The expert staff colored my hair to match my natural blond and its beautiful 3 months later. My natural hair is dark brown and I am platinum blonde so the root touch up is a complicated process for my hair because a mistake can result in harsh consequences. Gianni has done an excellent job with my root touch ups as well as my cut. The atmosphere is very friendly and everyone is very nice. I have always been open and honest about what I want and he has been open and honest about what he can deliver. This has resulted in a great relationship. The owner Elana has always been very friendly and I always enjoy spending time there.

I asked for a rose gold balayage with ton of dimension and that is what i got! I am so happy with my new hair color :) Lina (i believe that was her name; very tall and long hair) was so patient. A lot of sectioning, blending and a lot of product for sure goes a long way. She always asked if i was Okay and offered me something to drink. My hair actually looks longer after leaving this salon :) and most importantly looks and feels healthy. PROS: Everyone's been super nice to me here, and it tends to be very person-oriented experience; the coffee is also always a nice touch. The team is very open, honest, and realistic about what they'll be able to accomplish given the situation, preferring to approach harsh treatments in a cautious conservative manner to lessen the chance of any adverse effects/risks. I was once disappointed at the outcome of my hair, but part of me knew that it was mostly because of my own vision and the expectations I had in my head (given the aggressive treatments I had undertaken in the past to get the look I wanted). In hindsight, the look they gave me was actually really great, but they took me back in anyway to bring my hair to the intensity I was looking for, free of charge. CONS: While I haven't seen the revamp of the interior (said to have been done during January) my main criticism is that it could use a little face-lift. While I'm no expert, the prices strike me as premium, but then the space (including even the branding elements) don't particularly seem to exude that same feel. I've also found myself having to contort myself a little when getting my hair/product washed out, which is not a big deal because I'm young, but I could definitely see it being a discomfort for taller and/or older individuals with back issues.

Elena was Very detailed and told me exactly what I would need for my hair. I came in about a week later for the actual perm. Lina did an amazing job with it and after a few days I wanted to get it cut a bit and she made it look even more amazing than before! Really thankful and will be back again!

My visit at Figaro from start to end was nothing short of amazing.He was very patient to listen to what I wanted and gave very good suggestions. I showed him a picture of what I wanted for cut and color and he knew exactly what to do. The atmosphere there was super fun as well, with everyone making sure that you are comfortable. After spending months cutting my own hair and coloring it at home, my hair was basically in a disaster state but Gianni basically saved it! And one thing I cannot stop emphasizing on enough is that when you don't like something on your hair, do make sure to tell them about it right there and then. Otherwise you end up giving them bad reviews which a great place like this, does not deserve at all. When my hair color turned too blond for my liking and I told Gianni, they were very quick to fix that for me withing minutes. And I was very very pleased with the results. 10/10 I will definitely be going back, and I also cannot wait for my next visit!

I don't know why this place has so many good reviews. First of all NOTHING is sanitized. The comb Tamera used was covered in hair. There is no barbicide for their combs and brushes. Second the one thing I told her was that I didn't want thin ends. She took this as that I wanted to see the line at the bottom of my hair and made a straight diagonal line for layers in the front which is extremely outdated. When I told her I wanted it to look more choppy her solution was to think out the ends even more after I've been working to make my hair thick all the way down. Every time I said anything she just said ok even though she obviously had no idea what I meant. Third the haircut came to $80! I could have gone to an actual salon that's sanitary and they have other techniques than "texturing" the ends of my hair.

Today I had my brown roots and blonde highlights done by Lori. I have been experiencing some hair health issues lately and Lori was so considerate, gentle and reassurring. I received beautiful platinum blonde highlights without any damage. It turned out exactly as the picture I showed. The cut was perfect, as was the style. Figaro Salon is the best Salon I've ever been to. I've been to many salon before for a cut. All ended up being mediocre thus making discouraging me of getting my hair done. However the day I went to Figaro they changed that. The staff was very knowledgeable about hair, products, colors and styles. They even provided a consultation prior to cutting which was unprecedented in my experiences with other salons. The staff never ceased to amaze me and truly shown their knowledge and skill. They were very friendly, welcoming and provided great customer service. I was very pleased with the final look. Tamara was my stylist and she did an amazing job. My first visit to Figaro was for a colour correction; another salon gave me blonde highlights I did not like and they gave me a hard time when I asked to have it fixed. I am so happy I chose Figaro, I am so pleased with the results! Lina assessed my hair, gave me quite a few options for correction, and then not only corrected my hair colour with a beautiful balayage/toner over blonde highlights, she also trimmed my hair to get rid of the choppy haircut I received (the cut started as just a quick fix, but she ended up cutting/styling it amazingly and for no charge). Throughout the process, Lina explained everything to me before she proceeded, which I really appreciated. Her and the rest of the crew treated me to coffee and chocolates and lastly, and this might just be my preference, but Lina always addressed me by my name, not "hun, sweetie" or other terms of endearments, but by my name and it really made me feel like she was there for me, saw me as a person she wanted to help and not just another client. Thank you Lina and Figaro, I am absolutely calling you my salon of choice and so far, the best I have visited in Toronto! The team at this salon is incredible kind and helpful and I'm so glad that I chose them to fix my hair. My hair was a disaster walking in. It was bright red at the top quarter of my hair, blonde at the bottom quarter, and black in between, but after the consultation that Gianni gave me, I could tell that he knows what he's doing. By the end of it, I could not be more satisfied with my hair. The other beautiful ladies at the salon were caring, kind, and involved even though I wasn't their client. I made an appointment here after reading all the positive reviews and it definitely lived up to the hype! There was upbeat music playing in the background, the staff was friendly, and Gianni was an amazing stylist. I didn’t mind waiting for him to free up, since I had only made the appointment earlier in the day. I was impressed that he didn’t rush with his previous client just because I was waiting, since he gave me the same thorough service. Prior to the booking I had a hair cut consultation with the owner of the Salon Lena who answered all my questions and provided the best suggestions for the hair coloring and booked my appointment right the next day. I had a wonderful hair cut and ballage coloring done at Figaro Hair Salon on May 5. Lina was the hair dresser who did a fantastic job! The haircut is very manageable and exactly what I needed. The coloring was done to perfection with the shades I wanted ( ...and I am very picky ). I waited for three weeks to post an honest review as I wanted to see how my hair would "behave" and I am very thrilled about the final results. This salon has the most talented team, lead by Elena, who I first saw a few years ago to correct the horrible highlights that I got at another hair salon. I felt so distressed coming in but she knew exactly what to do, talked me through the process and her colour correction was amazing – she truly is a wizard. I have been a loyal client ever since. Service here is excellent, stylists are knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I wanted to also mention how much I love Tamara, who gave me the most beautifully blended balayage – I get compliments constantly from friends and strangers. I had my hair styled out of town for a special occasion recently and even the hair stylists at that salon loved the colour and asked me where I had my balayage done. First, if your hair is a disaster, whether from a single catastrophic encounter at someone else's hands or from a series of not-so-great decisions (which was my case), then you get yourself over to Figaro and into Gianni's expert hands, and he will perform a miracle of colour correction and balayage of near biblical proportions so that you and everyone else will be amazed at your fab hair. Then you keep going back, appointment after appointment, because you will find yourself addicted to the experience of consistently excellent cuts and colour. You may start to wonder why you have been doing anything other than this your whole adult life. At Figaro, the staff is expert and warm, and I really appreciate the atmosphere, which is welcoming and not at all pretentious. 5 stars without hesitation!

I have not been to your salon for several years and I saw the owner. I was not planning on ever writing a review however I am looking for a new hairdresser and when I came across your website I was curious about what others were writing about Figaro. What made it interesting was the replies by Elena. Not very professional or mature , but that does not surprise me. I went to your salon a few times, your staff was friendly enough, however I distinctly recall you spending your time discussing your many awards and achievements.. Your haircuts were ok until the last one. I left and when I got home I realized the bangs were quite crooked. I called you and you said that I must be wrong Which I wasn't. You finally agreed to fix them and said that I could pop in anytime . I don't live very close by and a day or so later I called again to tell you that I was coming. When I arrived, you greeted me in the doorway with scissors in your hands, basically told me that I was crazy and chopped away at my bangs. So rude, unprofessional, disrespectful and quite frankly not worth my time in returning or writing this review. I wanted to make sure that you knew that your behaviour was not acceptable Good luck and I hope you learn to take some criticism like a grown woman and business owner.

Usually its hard to find a hijab friendly salon in Toronto. In Figaro although they dont have a private room but they were really nice, understanding and very Accommodating to my situation. Worst experience I ever had in my life?? This salon has an Asian hairstylist --I wish I caught her name-- who does not know how to use the scissor but she talks like a professional with full confident!!! I had a short hair and I wanted to trim it and keep its length. She did the opposite! When I was trying to stop her during the cutting, she kept telling me don’t worry I used a special technique??? I know what I’m doing??? Please let me do my job?? I know you want it long?? Don’t worry?? She kept cutting leaving large patches on my hair and it was almost shaved? Beside that she was rude and ignorant!! Other hair stylist tried to fix my hair cut but there was no way to fix it?? At the end they said that the new hair cut was the best fit to my face and I should be happy that they done it this way?? and I should not be upset because it just hair... They are the worst? No professionalism at all? I think the excellent reviews are faked by the salon itself?

Worst customer service! I'm giving 2 stars only for Lina, she is an excellent hair stylist I was seen her for more than a year with no problems but today I had to take my kids to the salon because my husband was late from work and the owner told me that they didn't have space for my kids! They touch me in the worst place! I did my nails in the morning and the ladies had no problem fixing everything to fit my kids. Horrible customer service for moms! Elena, I think that you should take care more of your bussiness, at the end you are the one that is having the money! A lot of good salons are around and the customer service is what makes the diference! The only reason that I feel sorry is because I won't see Lina again.

I went to Figaro for hair perming. Since this was the first time I was getting my hair permed, I was a bit anxious and wanted to go to the best stylist. My search led me to Gianni, who is simply amazing. He was very patient with my extremely straight hair and rolled them bit by bit to create beautiful curls. I went there for the first time after my friend recommended me and I don’t regret the decision. My hair was very rough & dry yesterday The hairstylist was very patient with my hair (bcz even if my hair is resting, it get tangled easily) .I did keratin treatment and smoothed my hair at this place. I unfortunately did not have a great experience. It was my first time in the salon and I was looking forward to finding somewhere near me that did a good job. I had not had a haircut in 8 months because I was growing my hair out. I wanted to get rid of the long angle cut I had and the young lady told me she was going to give me a classic bob. I repeatedly told her I didn't want to go short as I was growing my hair out. She completely chopped my hair off. It took me 8 months to grow it and now my hair is shorter than what it was when I got my hair cut 8 months ago. I am so upset, its like I can return what I bought. When I told her it was way too short and that I had said i was growing it out, her response was...but now you have shape to your hair. REALLY??? It's not appropriate for a hairdresser to say she is going to do something and then do the exact opposite to what her client said. I am actually having to consider getting hair extensions, and that would be at my own cost. There was no apology and no offer for me not to pay for the hair cut even though I was visibly upset. I will certainly not go here again and I would not recommend this place.

Going to the salon is always a dreaded experience for me. Getting a cut, style, colour and/or highlights is always something I approach with trepidation. My hair is an accessory and as such it has a huge effect on how I see myself and how others see me. First time to Figaro and I went with my daughter. Had some difficulty with the accents and there was some confusion about the length and colour of the highlights. I was asked if golden blond would be okay but in retrospect I was not shown the colour swatch. I thought my hair was going to be longer at the back but there was a misunderstanding. My hair took 4 hours and this is the first time ever that I loved my hair right away. Not liked but loved. Tamara was patient and even with the uncertainty of trying to know what I was asking for it is, by far the most happy I have ever been! I asked for layers (got them) and highlights (got them very nicely done) and wash and wear style (a week later it is fabulous simple wash and wear). I wanted to be able to put it up and I can. The only downside was the time it took (4 hours) and the chair was so uncomfortable...and the price was more than expected. All in all it was worth every cent and I will be going back! Thank you Tamara and Figaro!!

Fiagaro Salon is AMAZING! Thank you Lena & Lina for fixing the hot mess I came in with and making me feel beautiful again!!! I had been going to my previous stylist for20 yrs. for cuts and style but had mostly been colouring my own hair. Recently I wanted to try something new and fun with my hair colour. I sent my stylist the picture of what I wanted and he said it was no problem. My stylist directed me to his new colourist and I was told that it would take 2 separate appointments to reach the colour level (I have very fine, curly, dark hair and wanted to do a belliage technique, going light brown, blonde'sh, with rose gold put in the mix). First session (5hours), I ended up going very bright red. As the colour faded it became nicer but it washed out completely very quickly. Since I always colour my hair in red tones I know this colour fades faster than the rest, but this was ridiculously fast. I only use natural products in my hair with no harsh chemicals. So after 4 washes the red/rose colour completely faded and I ended up peachy. For my second session I believed that my hair would finally match the picture I showed my stylist & colourist, which they said it would. I sat for another 5 hours with more intense bleaching going on. At the end of the appointment the colour was ok, but not as vivid as I had expected based on what I had shown her. After the first hair wash at home a few days later, the whole colour washed away, like completely washed away, with no hint of red or rose anywhere. I became peach again but this time with lots of uneven blonde streaks. I called my stylist but he just brushed of the situation with 'I could come back, but'...... Once I heard the 'but' I knew I wasn't going back (and this is someone I had been going to for 20 years). I was incredibly upset and started researching salons. I went to visit a few but did not feel confident in their abilities. I have fine curly hair and it's not the easiest to work with. When I found Figaro Salon, I walked in one afternoon and met the owner, Lena. I told her my situation and she took the time to sit with me and explain how we could fix my hair. Lena provided colour options, techniques and price differences between the various application processes. I booked an appointment with Lina, one of her colorist/stylists and am so happy I did. We discussed which colour would be best for my skin tone but that was still fun and vibrant. Lina reviewed the process of what was going to happen. She was meticulous and always checked to see if I needed anything. I felt very comfortable and knew I had made the right choice in coming to Figaro Salon. Lina is absoultely amazing!! I have extremely thick and hard to dye (without damaging) hair. She has been doing my balayage for 2 years now and never once has my hair fallen out, been fried or coloured incorrectly. I actually have healthier hair leaving her chair than when I first come in AND my colour lasts upto 6 months without a touch up. I would definately recommend her. She is spectacular at what she does and very knowlegdeable! Thank you Lina :) Love my hair and your work!

I left a comment and owner replied. But apparently you cannot reply back to them. So I am leaving another comment. I cannot get over how rude the respond on my comment was. I called to ask for an appointment and I never said I will be late for my appointment I just mentioned that if they could put me for 5:40, if not 5:30 is ok. I will make sure to get there on-time. which obviously does not mean I am saying I will be late. (AND where did you get 30 minuets late from ??!!!! You just made it up so you can prove yourself ?! ) And in the reply she/he is accusing me of saying I will be late. First of all, who says they are going to be late when making a hair appointment. I could have chosen another time for the appointment. Second of all, she/he in the reply is saying "we did not provide you any service". You are sadly wrong ma'm/Sir , you did provide service , when you picked up your phone!!!! Having a great experience starts with the phone call for an appointment!! So think before you reply! You are running a business. It is important to take these reviews and use them for improvement. It is not a highschool and you do not need to reply with mean comments. So please at least be nice to the people who are trying to come for the first time.

This is by far my favourite salon in Toronto. I've been coming here since the day it opened and I've never ever been disappointed! Elena is very creative, she knows what will look good on you and she is always on top of all the trends in the hairstylists world. I let her do what she thinks the best for me and what is current so I never have exactly the same cut. I always get compliments on how great my hair looks and, trust me, I don't have beautiful hair by nature :) To add, over so many years I've seen people getting haircuts, colour, treatments in the salon and each and every one of the staff there is really great and do amazing job! Never once I've seen somebody leaving with a bad hair from Figaro. It is not cheap but you are definitely getting your money worth there! Wouldn't go anywhere else even if I get paid to do so! Highly recommend! Just make sure you make an appointment!

He was professional and very knowledgeable about hair colors, haircuts, hair care, etc. He recommended adding highlights to my hair (I was very nervous). Gianni assured me that it would look amazing! Worst place ever.! I became 20 minutes late from my appointment and apologized because i used ttc and there were no signals where i could call them. but their attitude was v bad, but then i asked them to skip my hair color and just do the hair cut To adjust the time. then They refused to do my haircut because i wanted just the bangs. They asked 60$ extra for just styling of my short hair. I told them dont style but just simply dry the hair. But then they started saying we wont do it untill u get a full hair cut and get the styling too. They never fully informed me when i did the appointment if they dnt do just bangs. The lady was extremely rude and not helpful at all. She recommended bangs which would start from middle of my head.!she wasnt intrested in listening what kind of hair cut i want. Not worth it.! There are many excellent hair salons with way better services out there.! They r just there to take ur money but not to give u a service.! Stay away.!

This place may work if you speak the language of the staff. However, I did not. Only one woman spoke english and would tell the stylist what I was saying to her. I though the Woman speaking understood what I was asking for but my hair did not turn out the way I wanted it. When I said I wanted something, I got something else. Then all the staff says it looks wonderful when I hate it. When I ask them to make a change, they say "no no that will not look nice" or "no cannot do that now" or "no you should have told me earlier", and I had told them earlier !!!!! Don't go hear unless you speak the language.

It's been three days and I am despondent. Although the lady who cut our hair was beautiful and sweet, she should not be allowed to touch scissors. It will take at least a year for this disaster to grow out. It's been loped off on all sides - an absolute, unmitigated disaster - for both of us. Tamara and Elena at figaro saved my hair. They completely transformed it from what used to be highly damaged pink hair from the use of shoppers drug mart manic panic dye, to what it now is: beautiful balayage hair. It became clear to Elena and Tamara that the pink dye on my hair that I came in with was acting as a shield meaning that any darker dye that is put on top of it would simply slide off in the shower. My hair was in serious condistion my as they didn't know what to even do to fix it. Elena said that she wouldn't let me leave the salon unless the absolute right thing would be done for me and my hair. More than that, she stated that if nothing right could be done, she would just tell me to refrain from doing anything at all to my hair. Elena and Tamara are the most amazing hair stylists I've ever met, based on their pure care for their customers, and their love for hair in general. It became clear that certain hair lighteners weren't working to take out the pink from my hair, but this amazing product called olaplex did. Elena and Tamara decided balayage would be my best choice as it will correct my colour and give me beautiful blonde hair. So we did that, and the results have been nothing but amazing. It has been about 2 months and I have no complaints! I highly recommend this salon and will always do so! Can't wait to go back!

This salon saved my hair! I am so thankful for the services that I received at the Figaro Salon. Amandine and Elena took on a very difficult task to colour correct my recently coloured hair which was done by another salon. I arrived at Figaro's with bleached and burnt hair which was supposed to be a balayage. As you can see by attached Before and After photos, they did a fantastic job of not only saving my hair but also creating the desired balayage and making it look soooooooo beautiful! Thank you so much, ladies! Services at this salon are not cheap but the results are so worth it! The staff at Figaro is extremely experienced and professional (check out their website for more details on staff's qualifications and experience) that it justifies their prices 100%! Don't be fooled by "special prices" at other salons. Quality work requires time and professionalism and that costs money.
