Had gone to sassy hair design coz of a frnd’s recommendation. It was a good experience for my First hair color ever. I wasn’t sure about the colour or the look. But they gave me a really nice makeover, nobody can stop complementing. The only thing i felt could be better was tips and tricks since it was first time for me getting my hair coloured.

I had a keratin treatment here today, and honestly, I am really pleased. I went elsewhere for the same treatment a few years ago and it cost over $400, and here it cost me just over $200 for the same thing. The stylists were really friendly, I was served green tea while I waited for the treatment to develop, and it was overall very nice. I had two different stylists work on my hair and I wish I could list them by name because they were both very nice and knew what they were doing. I’ll definitely be returning if I need anything else!

I had an appointment with spa utopia this past Saturday and I live in Harrison mills so as we had already loaded up the baby and and were on our way to north Vancouver, spa utopia called and canceled my appointment (second time ive had a unexpected cancellation with them on short notice..) we were on our way to squamish for Thanksgiving weekend so i scrambled to find a salon to take me in with only a couple of hours notice.. called about 10-12 salons in North Vancouver when Sassy Hair design was the only one that could take me, even though they squeezed me in the woman who did my hair was super sweet and did a wonderful cut! My hair feels much healthier, she even curled it :) overall had a lovely experience! Especially on such short notice, would definitely reccomend this salon! Thanks again!:)

Please save your hair and turn away from this place. Basic instructions and concepts completely fly over the dressers head. Uneven cuts and lazy buzzer work. I can't fix this monstrosity so I'm forced to shave all my hair. Glad I didn't bother tipping for such horrible work. Worst haircut I've ever paid for PERIOD. STAY AWAY.

My mum and I have been going to Sassy for years! Tara has worked wonders on our hair!! She takes very good of us whenever we go! She did hair Botox for each of us making our hair so smooth and shiny!! She also did an amazing cut and colour on my mum as well cut my hair beautifully! She went above and beyond and did my mum’s threading as well. We both look great because of Tara jaan ???? 10/10 would recommend going here and use Tara! She is a hair genius <3

The lady told me that the lady who cut hair wasn't there and that I should come back the following day. When I saw my girlfriend I asked if she would go and ask for a haircut. When she came back she told me that they would've taken her that day. From when I asked to the point of meeting with my g.f. I already had a haircut at Select Hair Design...Not cool

Nahid from Sassy did microblading on my eyebrows. The pre-drawing was done meticulously and she kept asking me if I like it or not. She was also receptive when I was giving suggestions and she was trying to clarifying every step of the process.She mentioned multiple times about the aftercare and how I should expect the fading a few days after the treatment.Besides, the staff are really kind and friendly. Fariba has been my hairdresser for a long time and I am happy about her customer service. Similar to Fariba, Nahid is also kind, caring, and professional. I would definitely recommend Nahid for her work.

Had a really bad experience. The haircut lady spent less 10 min on my hair. She just wanted to finish up with me and switch to the next customer. She didn't even clean up the hair on my face, just AWFUL !!! P.S. The business owner and the hairdresser kindly contact me and apologized for the bad service and offered me compensation for my experience. Initially, I wanted to remove my comment, but it's against the whole culture of customer commenting. Instead, I decided to change my review from 1-start to 3-star.

Ellie doesn’t know what she’s doing. Do not trust her if you are bleaching your hair or doing anything related to dyeing. First off, she doesn’t know what a balayage is. I showed her an exact picture of what i wanted, she said she could do it but that wasn’t the case. She doesn’t know how to blend your roots either, and she overcharged me. I paid $500 for something i did not want. I even had to go back and get it fixed (she tried to charge me again) and it still wasn’t what i wanted. Do not trust her with your hair. i made the mistake of doing so.

Beautiful Nahid is super professional, caring , and patient. I had Microblading and lip blush. The result came out wonderful, and very natural. I thought lip blushing will be hard and painful , but I was wrong . I didn’t feel anything. Overall I highly recommend her .

I did micro-blading with Nahid. I had an amazing experience; she uses numbing cream so I didn't feel a thing! I love her work as well; she is very precise; measured my eyebrows multiple time to make sure they look the same. I love that she uses a measuring app to make sure everything is perfect. During the process, she checks in with you multiple times to make sure you are ok. All in all very satisfied with my eyebrows. Would recommend it to everyone who does not have shaped eyebrows

This was the first time I've been to this Salon and I had Fariba working on my hair. I absolutely loved everything about her and my experience there. She was very sweet and genuine. I've gone to many different places for hair coloring and cuts before and this one just took won the trophy for me. I'm 7 months pregnant and she made sure that I was in absolute comfort at all times (both her and one other were making sure I was always okay or if I needed anything) the color turned out perfect and so did the cut. I have been feeling down in the dumps about my appearance lately and I left extremely pleased and happy. If you want a really good experience, I highly recommend this place. I know exactly where my new salon is now. :)

I leave in Vancouver 15 years, and all this time I was in search of good hairdresser. I have changed 5 hairdressers during this time, and never was fully satisfied with their work. Last month I finally found my desired hairdresser in Sassy salon at Capilano mall in North Vancouver. Her name is Zara. Zara is awesome! She is professional, very talented and sociable person. I got the referral from my friend, and I decided to try one more time. My thoughts was changed after her scissors first movement, and at the end I was really impressed with my haircut. Finally I have found the hairdresser, I was looking for. She is the best! Just five stars!

Yesterday my friend went to sassy for hair and makeup. When I saw her that night, I asked why her hair is falling apart. She told me that her hair started falling apart as soon as she got home. I asked, what happened to your makeup? And she said she washed it off as soon as she left the salon because she was embarrassed to leave with it on. She is the sweetest person on earth so she never is able to complain, ever but I was so fed up. She tried to defend the lady too by saying she couldn't do what I wanted exactly because my hair wasn't long enough but okay, if that's the case, why not have a consolation beforhand ? Just to make sure you can give your client what they want like 99% of salons do. She charged her $50 for an updo and $35 for makeup but somehow it came to $100 + so she clearly took advantage. The employee next to her was holding back her laugher as my friend was walking out and looked shocked. Again, my friend is just too nice. If you can't do what your client asked for, why still charge $50? This wasn't even a bun. She just put some pins in her hair and that was it.. not even an updo. Come on..... I was so furious. Please do not go to this salon asking for lily for hair and makeup ... however, my friend says she gets her cuts from Zara and she excellent. Great job Zara. Thanks for making your clients happy and satisfied with their look. But I am not stepping foot here after what I saw yesterday. My tip for you sassy: give your clients a consultation!!!!!

I asked for a blonde balayage and I constantly showed Ellie the photos of what I wanted and it did not turn out the way I was expecting. I went back to get it “fixed” she said she had to charge me again even tho I had already paid and not got what I wanted, and when I left I was told by multiple people that my hair was still brown underneath and the back was almost completely brown with a thin blonde layer covering it to show the appearance that my hair was blond. I feel that she didn’t know what she was doing and I wouldn’t recommend going there if you are looking to go blonde. Although the manager and Ellie were very kind the service was just not what I was wanting

I have been going here for the past 4 years and the staff exceed my expectation everytime! 4 years ago I went to another hairdresser in downtown who ruined my hair and I went to Sassy salon (which was close to my home) to fix it and Fariba gave me a FREE haircut because she felt bad that someone else messed up my hair!!!! She gave me my first service at this salon for free!!!! I will never forget this and now I am a life time customer. Fariba is the only person I can trust with my hair. I had permanent keratin treatment in sassy salon and it was a bad experience. it didnt go as planned.The product was very bad quality also had bad odour . After 3 days I washed my hair it returned to its original shape that is made me disappointed because i trusted them i felt i paid too much for nothing, I will never go back to that salon and dont recommend this for anyone.
