My wife goes here now and has nothing but good things to say about her stylist. I have been there twice now just for a simple cut. Different stylists each time. Both did a bang up job of my mop. Relaxed atmosphere. Jazz playing in the background. Very pleasant staff. I feel a little out of place here since I'm not really taking advantage of all they have to offer and I'm not really a stylist person when it comes to appearances, but the do great work so I'll come back as long as they will have me.

Cut is ok.but do not colour your hair there.they don't know what they are doing and the colour just fade. I have to do mine twice on the same day and still not getting the results.the hair appeared uncolored! I had my hair coloured downtown Vancouver before and it was absolutely fine.

Jan 31, 2017 -Just called the salon (as the reviews were great) to inquire about hair and makeup for my wedding day. The person answering the phone had so little English that he could not assist - just kept asking me if I wanted "hair appt?" Eventually managed to get the Manager on the phone who jumped right into Fees for "delivery", fees for "consultation" - absolutely no information about services. Perhaps this place is under new management? Anyway would not trust them ti be there and understand my needs on my special day as communication is an issue with both people I talked to and they seem very focused on the payment side of things ????????

Took my son to this place and they kept us waited 20 minutes after we arrived ON TIME to the appointment, and hair cut was done in less than 10 minutes. It was done very poorly (if not the worst haircut )

I've been a regular client of Ray's for over 2 years now and am so impressed. I simply go in and let him work his magic without needing to provide much input. I can just sit back, relax, enjoy my quiet time, marvel in his artistry, and leave looking great, feeling like a million bucks, and not having to break the bank to boot! Cleanliness, and covid protocols have been great throughout the pandemic. My hair would be lost without this gem of a salon!

This place is great. Nemo and the staff are more than just accommodating they really treat you like friends and family. No big salon chain attitude here. You get down to earth people who gives great hair cuts. But it doesn't stop there, the whole treatment and experience just tops everything around Vancouver! Totally recommend going there!

I asked to cut my hair around shoulder and I explained with picture but the man cut my hair shorter than my face. In addition quality was sooo bad. Right side is much longer than left side. I can not believe this. I am not a type who write review bt this time just I can not stand with this. You should not go to the salon to cut your hair. You will cry for sure. Their task wasn’t polite.

I was unable to book with Satomi this time and had Nishi. He is a beginner and inexperienced and very slow. I ended up with a bowl cut. Yep literally a bowl cut. Do not book with Nishi. I was embarrassed when I came home. I will always book with Satomi from now on she's the only person who saves Jive Jive.
