The stylist made my sis with ALS wait while her unscheduled appointment bumped her appointment back. Do NOT go to this salon they don't care how they treat people with limited mobility and incurable conditions.

First time at "Hair on 14th". The whole cut took less than 10 minutes. The owner, Sarah, did not trim a line at the back of my neck, just left it as is. Barely a trim around the ears, no blending. No blend on the side burns, just a straight chop. Did not blend the side to the top. The front and top are crooked and uneven. See photo below. Did not check her own work. Did not show the back with a mirror. Total with tip, $42.26.

For the BEST blow out in North Van, ask for Rynell, she is amazing, fast and well priced. Their on site make up artist is also really good so you can do a one stop shop for glam! Highly recommend.

Well, I was served by nice lady who was assisted by barber, twice. Haircut was 55 mins long which is 30 mins more then my expectation. I asked to make low undercut but received high undercut. Work was not quiet what I requested but still looks professional. Please don’t kill my time like that guys.

The stylists at Hair on 14th really know hair color! When I went in for the first time I asked the styles to suggest a color that she thought would work for me, without telling her exactly what I thought I wanted. She came back with some good suggestions so I agreed with her choice. I was SO happy with the result! She did an amazing job blending my hair color, and other colors using foils. I have been a loyal customer ever since!

Rynell was an absolute “hair angel.” Thank you, Rynell for taming my unruly locks. Her after care tips were right on point. Her salon was clean and everyone was accommodating and very welcoming. Highly recommended.

I've been using this salon for years. I love it. Great cuts and colour. I often go in for a blow-dry and makeup before an event and always feel my best when I leave the salon. Although I have a specific stylist, I've used several of their stylist, if mine is not available, and have always been happy. I often get compliments on my hair and asked where I get it done. I can recommend Hair On 14th without hesitation.

They were decently friendly. The lady who did my hair though couldn't even cut my bangs in a straight line, one side is higher than the other and the middle of my bangs dip so low between my eyebrows it looks dumb. I went in for a simple trim and ended up leaving unhappy. I've been hiding my hair waiting for it to grow out again.

I was very displeased with a hair cut given there yesterday. Never had I previously expected a refund from an unfortunate hair cut however this time it was so far from what I wanted that I was surprised that all I received was a couple apathetic remarks and the offer to "fix" the already too short hair. When I brought up money there was immediate contention and it was obvious they cared more about it than a customer who has been going there for years, and no longer will be.

Ask for Linda; not only great cut & style but amazing scalp massage ;) twice too, as I had some gel already so had to be washed off, then styled. Nice cozy salon, good sized with about 8 chairs or so. Pretty good vibe, not like dead quiet.
