GREAT experience! I have been looking for two years for a new salon in this area and I just found it! Victoria was amazing, personable, and took my hair from flat and boring to incredible in just under an hour!!! I hadnt cut my hair since before the COVID outbreak so it was a bit of a mess. Speaking of COVID, this salon is keeping everything extremely clean and following protocol to make sure every one feels safe. I cant say enough great things about this salon!

I have been going to this Tony and Guy for the past 9 years. I go for one wonderful person, Katie Warren. Katie has done my color for almost the past decade. I can not begin to describe what a talented colorist she is and what a kind generous human being she is. Katie always makes sure Her clients are happy and satisfied, going out of her way to make your visit perfect from start to finish. She has also connected me with her fellow stylists Tab and Lupita who are also very talented and kind hearted people. I went yesterday for my color and was not feeling well. I was scheduled at 5:45 and wasn’t going to be able to get a style, which was not a problem. I was ok to leave with wet hair but Katie insisted I stay and get my hair dried so I wouldn’t get sick. She and Lupita stayed late and made sure my hair was dried before I left. It was a simple gesture of kindness but it meant the world to me. In a world where there doesn’t seem to be much in the way of kindness, this salon has no lacking of kindness. Go see them. They will take good care of you and make sure you leave looking and feeling great!

The service here was abysmal and at best rudimentary. The average 16 year old girl could do a better job. For the amount of money I spent (+$250), they have dyed my hair very poorly (I asked for light brown balayage) and right now, six weeks later, it looks orange and choppy. I also paid for the blowout service (twice) and they did not fail to disappoint here too. Save yourself the trouble, the money, and the hair damage and go somewhere else! Oh I almost forgot how pushy the 'stylist' was for tip. The audacity these people have! She knew I was not satisfied with what she's done and yet had no shame asking for a tip. Simply petty and pathetic. Very fake attitude. They try to force you to like it even though you hate it. The place also felt like a beauty school. They had inexperienced girls giving the services while people were sitting there paying for quality hair services.

I have thick curly hair that needed a few inches cut. He achieved the long layer look I requested and had me laughing the entire time. He's funny and talented. I'm so glad I found this salon! This salon is super clean and the vibes here are fun and upbeat. Every single employee was cheerful and the team work was GREAT! I had two women blow drying my hair and others checking with Jonathan to see if he needed assistance. Despite how busy it was I still felt so important. Great work everyone!

7 years, have I been going out of my way to make sure that I keep my hair style up to date with Jonathan. I have total respect for him as an artist and give him his space to work his craft. I never bring in photos or anything like that because he is always up on the latest trends and his technique is exquisite (East coast, West coast, sorry y'all got nothing on this third coast gem), I just let him work his magic. Being salt and pepper, it can be a challenge to strike the right chord and come off fresh and sexy rather than homey. Truly not a day goes by with me getting at least one compliment on my hair and I give him all the credit. And his haircuts last a long time especially since they offer free fringe trims, which I faithfully take advantage of. Also, just want to mention the staff, they have always been warm, kind and thoughtful. It is a true delight each time I visit. And I know they were generous and supportive to the Santa Fe community they are part of after the recent tragedy. Hats of to them for that. While I can't personally speak of their color services because I keep my hair natural I do know that I brought my sister in for color correction and we were both impressed with not only the final result but how they took time to explain what they were doing for future reference, since they knew she was from out of state. So many reasons why I drive all the way from Katy and pass hundreds, if not thousands, of salons along the way to Toni and Guy Bay Colony.

Went to some place to get a cut, it was completely butchered, I saw this salon was only about 2 miles away so I went over to see if they could fix it up, Chelsea took me in her chair and completly nailed it! She did an amazing job, you would never be able to tell how bad it was! She was really cool to talk with and super personable as well! I highly recommend her at Toni&Guy!

Jonathan was great. I showed him 2 pics and explained what I liked on each style. He was able to envision the style and what it would take to get the look I wanted. I was super impressed with my cut and style. Jonathan explained what to do with different products he applied to my hair. I have them at home and used them only to shelve them because I struggled trying to get the same results as past stylists. However, Jonathan explains the purpose of the products, the applications of them, and how to style your hair with them. So tell him exactly what you do to your hair and what products you have. Jonathan is very willing to impart knowledge so you can look your best. I'm a huge fan!!

I was visiting my parents very last minute and with all of the rushing, I wrongly decided that after a few YouTube tutorials I was educated enough to bleach my own hair … needless to say it was a disaster!!!! after telling my mom , who loves Toni and Guy, she tried to get me into a last minute appointment , Katie and Tab went above and beyond my expectations. Tab gave me a quick strand test to ensure my hair was healthy and a great cut that was so needed post pandemic, and Katie literally transformed my yellow orange hair into a beautiful and natural ash blonde that I was so happy with !!! Everyone there was so professional, kind, and attentive, they definitely put their customers first!!! If you are looking for a hair stylist then you need to check out Victoria. She is amazing. I have been going to another person at a different hair salon, (which I liked ) but she never really listened to what I wanted, even when I took pictures. I decided to try Toni & Guys and Victoria was available and boy did I get a gem of a hair stylist. She listened to what I was wanting and even pulled up pictures to see exactly what I wanted. She decided to cut my hair dry to see how my hair fell. She cared and would stop and ask me how it looked. When she was finished she even showed me how to blow dry it to get the look. And to top it off her personality was fun and inviting. I just found my stylist. So thankful for Victoria.

BEWARE!! Completely ruined my hairstyle & had to go to a barber & get a taper fade bc what hair I had left could not be restyled & needed to be shortened after they were done with it. It took a long time to grow my hair out & now I’m having to start over. They used hot blow dryer that fried my hair. They tugged on it super hard pulling out follicles. again BEWARE!! I called about mens haircut prices and was told from the receptionist that it was 25$ to 30$ for a mens haircut I thought okay that's decent I went ahead and got my hair cut my barber was fantastic best part of the experience I even tipped him after we were done we said goodbye and I go to pay at the counter and a new lady now says its 50$ for the haircut wich caught me off guard because I wouldn't have came knowing I'd be spending 50 plus tip to get a average mens haircut very disaticfied with this place besides the guy who cut my hair, probably wont come back I feel cheated

After a bad haircut, I swore I would never go back to this place. That was 15 years ago. However, I needed to get my hair bleached for the first time in my life and I didn't want to trust just anybody to do it. I begrudgingly made a consultation appointment and made the 20-mile drive. I was told I didn't have a good enough reason to have my hair done, so they would not do it. I will never ever ever waste my time on these people again.

Got along with everyone even stayed after my hair stylist left & opened her on place. But I was treated very rudely last time I tried to make an appointment. Quoted 70$ and they charged me 80$ the stylist took more length than asked for and way more volume than necessary. Instead of adding layers like I asked she just kept taking volume out and now my hair looks super thing and one of the things I asked for was the cut to give me volume and it does the opposite

It's no secret that T&G stylists are known for their high level of skill. Well, I called with short notice yesterday, and they had a slot open with a relatively new stylist. Hey, the newest at Toni and Guy has to be better than par at a lesser salon, so I accepted the appt. The "sorta" new girl was Lacie Jo, and I think they said she graduated maybe 6 months ago, and went straight into the T&G Academy. She answered my questions truthfully, didn't try to powder coat my issues with flattery, which made for a more successful decision on which style would work best for me, among the different pictures I brought with me. If you can't be open about your own hair, I mean.... So with the decision made, she went about executing the cut. She took her time, sectioning and combing through this way and that, different angles, until she was satisfied that she had the understanding on how to approach the design. She executed the cut very well, a couple of times pausing to ask for advice from her trainer and a senior stylist before continuing, which I really appreciated. These people were so, so helpful to her, and welcomed her questions. They were thorough in their explanations to her, and by their conversation, it was clear that she wasn't just saying it was clear, she really DID understand. THAT, people, is how you create a master stylist. They are top notch, and are investing in this girl's success in representing their brand, which makes me a returning customer. Well, she did a fantastic job, and this is the best cut I've had in a month of Sundays. Glad I moved back to the area, and glad I found Lacie Jo. Oh...one more great thing about my visit? It was only $40. I encourage you to give her a try. Tell her about this review, when you do. No reason to not boost her morale, is there?

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because of the 2nd stylist Chelsea who cut my hair. She was actually very nice, professional. The 2 stars are not a reflection on her. The 2 stars is for everything else. The woman who started with the gloss was so very unfriendly, very unprofessional and cold natured. I felt so uncomfortable. She didn't even say hello and just started dry brushing my dry curly hair with a big brush. It hurt of course and turned into a big huge fuzz ball. She left me sitting in the chair for 30 minutes without telling me what was going on. I saw her walking around to 3-4 different stylists looking confused on what she should be doing in terms of mixing the gloss color. I had to stop and ask her if everything was ok. ZERO communication on what was going on for 30 minutes. Another stylist came to help with the gloss application due to time. The color ended up being nothing like I asked for or picked out. Another person washed my hair and didn't adjust the headrest so water kept going into my ears. I spoke up to ask nicely that water keeps going into my ears. He said "oh ok" and then it kept happening so he gave me a towel to hold onto my ears. I was so uncomfortable the entire service until I got to the last person Chelsea who treated me like an actual human being. She was very nice, great communication. It was my wedding anniversary so that's why I was getting my hair done. I will never return here. Please work on your employees and their customer service.

The staff was extremely friendly and the place was so clean and inviting. I wanted honey balayage blonde with almost white highlights. Since my hair is already light blonde I didn’t think it would be that hard. They told me I would have to come in for several treatments to get it the shade I wanted which just didn’t make sense to me since I’ve had it done at another place before with no multiple trips. She went ahead and dyed my hair anyways and washed it and dried it. It looked EXACTLY the same except for my roots being lighter, I couldn’t even tell a difference. I thought maybe in the harsh lighting I wouldn’t be able to tell so soon. They then made me get my hair styled and cut since they didn’t just do dye jobs (they didn’t tell me any of this when I made the reservation.) The guy who curled my hair did an awful job, i looked like Shirley temple went homeless. They charged me over 200$ for the whole thing. The only good deal was the 2 for 22$ bed head shampoo they had going on. Two stars only for the staff being so nice but don’t waste your money if you want a noticeable change.
