Did my hairstylist apprenticeship here about ten years ago. Yes, it’s ghetto. Yes, the teachers are on their phones mostly. But... instead of spending $10,000 on a private hairstyling school, just pay the $40 to become an Ontario apprentice and go to this school. Get a placement in a salon for your hours. It’s the best experience you can get, instead of working on a mannequin head for 10 months straight at an expensive private school.

You are better off paying for your education than getting it "free" from these people. The teachers have too much attitude for the little they show you. The curriculum might sound good, but you won't cover everything they promise. They only teach you how to manipulate Caucasian hair and treat everything that is not Lily white as difficult and "level 2". In actuality,they will never show you,because they know nothing about other hair types.
