Worth the drive from Windsor!

A friend of mine went here and she has similar texture hair to me. She highly recommended them. I, in turn, had a great first time experience at Norton Hairstyling. I've been a "victim" of bad haircuts, so I explained to Diane what my issues were. She really listened and she clearly "got" me. The results are exactly what I needed/wanted. Thanks guys, I'll be back for sure!

Usually i never review a place but .i hv to this time .. this place .in my experience is not what I call kind .. it doesnt add up to my expectpections as they said on their posting as a family buisness ..just yestersday .I was looking for a new beauty salon as i came from a town just moved here ..thinking this looks nice and walked i n my first impression .wow looked nice except no one said hi or welcome or even approached me at the front desk the lady was gabbing fr over 15 minutes about nothing ..not working .saw me stand ing there finally fustrated She finished her so called talking asked her if there was any room fr my hair appt would like to see someone .told her my dilema looked me up and down like the others did felt judged no smiles as i came in ..by the way reallly not nice ..just because someone looks not frm money doesnt mean we dont ..ook .. then she says to me ..sorry no .. we book in advanced ..fr a month omgd ..this blonde lady with but what about your walk in policy is that a lie on your web site dyu not follow up on that she went to explain theres no one avail... well then dont put that on there if yu cant access it ..the ladywith glasses was so cruel .i was so polite .. and she told me i could be put in a waiting listttt.no way.. this is Sarnia people not Toronto i felt so bad they made me cry after left the salon .. no thank yu ..dosent even deserve a star .. i think .. they didnt even serve coffees or teas ..i really observed this place as i was waiting fr ever it seeeems ...what if i was a ..reporter hmmm ...

Over the past 4 years that I have been going to Norton, I have had nothing but extremely positive experiences. Not only have I loved the results of my hair (both colours and cuts) each appointment, but have loved my time spent in the chair surrounded by the staff. The family environment has a fun loving feeling that is contagious and has me feeling like a million bucks each time I leave. They make sure each client is well taken care of and as comfortable as they need for the duration of their appointment, offering coffees and teas and other refreshments. There is no shortage of friendly faces in this shop, and would recommend it (as I have numerous times) to my friends, loved ones, and even strangers. Going to Norton is like going to a Toronto salon with the small town 'Sarnia' feel that we all love.

This is a wonderful salon with world class stylists. They never disappoint and are priced reasonably. Most often one can also find free street parking right in front of the salon. Another plus is that one either does not have to wait at all and occasionally there is a minimal wait. Thank you Nortons and especially my stylist, Angela.

This place is simply amazing, been going since it opened, and all the staff members are absolute beauties. Very warm, welcoming and friendly people, that make you feel at home when you walk in the door. I've recommended many friends and family, which all have had great experience. The quality is top notch, for men and women, and the staff is constantly taking more schooling and seminars to better themselves. 5 stars all around!!!!

I am coming on here to talk about how impressed I am with the customer service. I don't want to post a bad review about the stylist because a previous cut was the best I've had in a while. The last one, however, was the worst. Normally I just buck up and blame myself for not communicating properly, but this was an exceptional misfire. I paid and left a good tip because, honestly, I just wanted to get out before I started crying. When I contacted the company a couple of days later, they responded with grace and were very sincere and professional.
