The moment I walked into the salon I was blown away by the atmosphere and the super kind staff. I was greeted at the door by sena who offered me water and tea. I sat down in the waiting area and in less then 5 min I was walked over to the wash station and my consultation began. George asked me what style I wanted and explained the details of how long it would take and the process to get there. My hair was washed with this amazing mango shampoo which smelled so good! I was then taken to the stylist chair. We made small talk and I could tell he was passionate about his work and it really showed. It all finished with a amazing head massage. I definitely will be back and I highly recommend you come try this place.

This is actually my first ever Google review because I usually can't be bothered to write them but my experience at this Dundas N15 location was just amazing! I initially went in for a perm (and haircut), and my lovely stylist Sayo did an amazing job! She was super sweet and very friendly. However, for some odd reason, the perm didn't even last for the first 3 days. I called Sayo and explained the situation, pretty disappointed and upset, and she quickly offered to do another perm session as a fix (no charge) the weekend of. I went back and she was again very lovely and patient, did the perm, and I left. About a week later, my hair went back to normal again so the perm didn't work. This time I did a walk-in and spoke with a stylist there, who happened to be one of the Directors. He looked at my hair and explained why he suspected the perm didn't work after two sessions, and immediately offered me to come back the next day for a fix with another Director, Tomomi. (I forgot to ask for his name - but he was very professional and knowledgeable! Thank you!!) Tomomi gave me a cut the next day and I loved it! She gave me detailed explanations and suggestions as to how I can best keep my permed hair curled. Overall just a delightful experience and all three stylists were great! I will definitely be back again. :) PS. I actually didn't have as pleasant of an experience at the Bay and College N15 location - so I'd highly recommend this Dundas location than the other one!

I booked a men's haircut with Halu, and can safely say he did not disappoint. The staff were very polite, took my coat and washed my hair before the cut. I told him what I wanted generally, and he really took his time and paid great attention to detail. By the end, I was very happy with the length and style we ended up with.

I always hair cut my hair to Celine, who always greets the guest brightly and talks to me a lot so that I don't get bored while I cut my hair. Whenever I do my hair from Celine, I like it so much that I feel like I'm taking 100 selfies. loll I got my first Perm from Celine today. I don't think 100 selfies will be enough. My satisfaction level is always over 100%, and I think I will always get a haircut from Celine unless I leave Toronto.

Very happy with my haircut with Celine! I've been going to Bay and College location for years and unfortunately my go-to stylist is on leave until 2021 so I gave this location a shot through a recommendation. The location has some very thorough COVID-19 procedures and took good safety measures. Although it is difficult to communicate to Celine, (due to language) she was extremely patient with me and cuts hair very well. NOTE: Be patient with them during this time, they seem to be more overwhelmed than usual and often managing/overseeing many other tasks!

I got a digital perm and a haircut with Celine. The check-in process was very straightforward and the salon ensures that social-distancing regulations are followed. The salon is very clean and I love the modern and minimalistic decor. I showed Celine a picture of what I wanted on my phone, and told her what I wanted to achieve with this new haircut. Celine is very professional and explained the entire process (haircut, types of perms needed and how long it will take - she was spot on about the amount of time it would take!). I got a digital perm and a haircut this time. Prices are slightly on the expensive side, but the quality of the services, materials and machines used are top-notch, and therefore definitely worth the price. The perm was exactly what I wanted, the right amount of curls with face framing bangs. Celine also provided helpful instructions for how to dry my hair and bangs after a shower. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the quality of the service I received. I will be back to get a roots perm in roughly 2 weeks!

I got a mens haircut with Stephen! It was my first time at this place. Stephen is really nice and he took his time without rushing to give me a perfect haircut that looks great and he even fixed some errors my previous barber may have made. He also guided me when i wasn’t sure about certain things. A little pricey, paid $51 after tips but Stephen is worth it !

Make sure book with Tai! @tai.is.that.guy (IG) Stylists all use top of the line equipments (brushes; GHD, blowdryer; Dyson ). When processing your hair, they make sure you are protected with plastic ear covers. Tea is served for every client. Clean, and very little aesthetic for pictures. Lit location with great lightening. This location is very close to other great food location, so if you're here to do your hair for a long time, you can get food in the area.

I have been to a number of hair salons in Toronto over the past 6 years, and this has become my favourite one. I was always disappointed after getting my hair done at other places due to various reasons including service, price, and overall quality or style of my hair afterwards. My experience of hair salons in Toronto has completely changed after today though, as I am more than satisfied with my hair now. I was very worried of my hair being damaged after colouring them, especially because the condition was not at its best from the start. Celine picked out the perfect colour, considering my personal taste, and she was very caring with how exactly I wanted the haircut to be. She was very friendly and welcoming when I first got the place, and immediately made me feel comfortable being there. I had amazing experience, and I have no better way other than to say that you will not regret whatsoever for getting your hair done here, especially by Celine! One and only place to go!

Celine is truly a M A S T E R. She is literally a magician. She strikes the perfect balance between catching exactly what I want and the kind of vibe and style I want to try and offering honest and professional feedback on what would and could not work. Since discovering her, I've my hair cut by her already 3 times, and bleached my dark Asian hair to ash blonde and I can testify she is such a rare gem. She is not the type to spew empty, flattering words; if it doesn't look nice, she will tell you--and she'll be able to fix it. And last but not least, she is so loyal and responsible to her clients. When it turned out I needed more bleaching for my hair to achieve the colour I wanted, she took time on her day off just so to perfect it (since the earliest available time would have been 2 weeks later). Thanks to her, I've got the hair colour of my dreams and a hair style that complements my personality. Go treat yourself and get your hair done by her. Seriously.

Celine is wonderful. My hair has been bleached for many times, so it’s highly damaged. She really pays attention to not break my hair too much and gives suggestions on how to protect them. I've had different stylists coming here over the years but I have to say Masato is my go-to stylist; he's very thoughtful and pleasant to chat with to boost! He gave recommendations on what might suit my face best since I wasn't sure what kind of style to go with, and went with a cut that framed my face nicely. Very careful with his work too. I hadn't seen him for some years since he was off for a while but I was shocked he remembered me after only seeing me once before! Being able to connect with your clients always a plus for me ???? The salon itself is very clean and aesthetically pleasing, the receptionist was also very kind and welcoming as well. Always a pleasure coming!

Today was my third time going to N15 for colour/root touch up/cut&style with Celine and I am in LOVE with my new hair!! The receptionist was super friendly and full of smiles when I walked in which made me feel very welcomed and ready for my appointment! I felt very safe coming to the salon despite the recent surge in cases bc they are practicing safe covid-19 protocol by checking your proof of vaccination + temperature and they also provide hand sanitizer at the door. I first came to N15 during the summer to fix my awful pandemic hair and Celine was so amazing from the start of the consulting process right to the very end of the appointment. She is very skilled at what she does and provides super helpful recommendations when you're unsure of if a certain colour or style would suit you. She is also very well caught up with the latest trends and looks out for the best interest of your hair. She has done such a great job that strangers would come up to me and tell me that my hair is really nice and I even had my manager go get her hair done with her bc she liked my hair so much! The environment is super clean and all the staff are very friendly so if you are debating whether or not you should go, this is your sign to go!! I can't wait to come back for my next appointment and I can't wait for many others to be able to experience such great services!

I'm so happy I got a digital perm from Celine, she has such a kind and positive energy! Being a new mom doesn't give me a lot of time, so this was the perfect treatment for my flat and straight hair. Celine is very experienced, and I feel grateful she always put a lot of care into her client's hair. The digital perm turned out to be really natural waves, and my hair actually got softer! Digital perm was not drying at all, and my hair felt healthier after being treated. If you're looking to try a digital perm, I highly recommend going to N15!

I had SUCH an amazing haircut at the Bay and Dundas location. I have been avoiding hair dressers for two years because I had a series of very bad cuts, but I finally found a nice place! I had Mana who was a stylist level 1 or 2 and she did such an incredible job and was so kind! No one has ever been that meticulous and given so much care to my hair cut. After she began I asked for it to be a bit shorter, she had no problem at all going around again and did not make me feel bad for asking. All my interactions with the staff were so great. Highly recommend.

Tried N15 for the first time with Stephen - I have long damaged hair so I just deferred to his expertise and asked me to choose for me. He suggested a style and cut my hair gently in a way that I can maintain with the tools that I normally use without a perm. This is probably the prettiest practical haircut that I’ve had since my last visit to Asia, when a luxury flight attendant gave me a great recommendation.

My visit started well. My stylist was Senna. She’s was really sweet, really polite. She gave me some good hair suggestions. Did not try to sell me any extra treatments or products and explained the process well. Those were all the pros. Things they can improve on are the floors which were covered with hair, I noticed the stylists kept reusing the same gloves, and some of the brushes looked dirty as well. So was my cut and Color worth $240 including tip? I don’t know. I need to visit them again and see. I asked for a red and I got a very very muted version of it. My cut was also very simple which was what I wanted and it was done perfectly. 9/10 for cut and 5/10 for colour (unless it lightens with a couple of washes).

My boyfriend and I have been coming to this location for haircuts for awhile now, and both love it here. I've done a root perm with Celine a couple times and really loved the results. The perm is particularly helpful for people who are too lazy to style their hair:) Definitely recommend this salon~

I feel so sad because I went to other salon ( Tony shamas , Twin image and others ) they can't even give me what I was looking for but yesterday I went to N15 and tai made me so happy that I can't even explain . when everything was done and I was looking at my hair tai did it for me I really want to hug him but I couldn't because of covid . this salon is the best salon in the city . They are very polite , clean , professional and experienced people who knows how to make customer happy . Im so glad that I choose this salon and from now on I will always go there . thank you tai for my amazing hair and the hair cut . I got my hair cut by Masato 2 weeks ago and got lowlights by him today and am VERY happy with both! Here’s my detailed feedback: Salon: clean, relaxing space, great music! Hair cut: I have big, frizzy South Asian hair, and keep it slightly below shoulder. Masato did a great job of doing the cut where it can look good air dried! Even without styling, the hair looks fresh and my friends liked it too- brought out my natural waves and volume. He is also super gentle and detailed, and gives, hands down, the best hair washes ever! Hair Dye: I got lowlights done, and was scared about how it would look (never gotten it coloured before), and Masato made sure to do something that would be different yet subtle. The end result looks superb- I can’t wait to flaunt my hair in all my work calls, lol. Also, the blow dry was so good- it didn’t feel like anyone was tugging at my hair- he was very patient and careful. And did I mention the amazing hair wash? I am definitely going back and recommending to my friends! Masato is brilliant!

I got a hair cut last weekend with Mana, and she is fantastic. She spent a long time looking at my hair and planning out the cut, and discussing with me the best method. I have thick naturally wavy hair, and previously stylists I visited told me the cut I wanted - a blunt long bob - was not possible with my hair because it is too thick and voluminous, and they added lots of layers to the ends so it doesn't make a / \ shape at the bottom (which is wrong because it ends up making a ( ) shape instead of a | | shape). Mana knew the trick how to make it work and she even told me I had the same texture of hair as the photo I was showing her, and I just needed the right cut to make it work - she thinned it out, but left the ends all the same length. Magic! I am always hesitant to spend money at a salon because I ask and then get a bad cut. But the stylists at N15 really seem to know how to shape hair, and Mana is no exception. She offered for me to come back (I don't live far away) if the cut looked odd because of my waves and loose curls, but when I washed it and styled as normal, it looked fabulous and exactly the way I wanted it. I'll be back regularly! <3 <3 <3

Great experience. I was able to book less than 24 hours in advance which is beneficial to me because I always make last minute decisions when it comes to my hair! I booked it with Mana. This is the first haircut I've had in a while where I really liked the change. I cut it the shortest I've had it in MANY years... I did a lot of research prior, and when I showed it to Mana, she was able to make a lot of suggestions for me. I'm really happy with my haircut!

I had my haircut yesterday with Tomomi. Overall, it was good value and the space looked nice. It was a little different experience from what I am used to as she didn't wash my hair before the cut even though I had a little styling product in my hair. When it came time to washing my hair after the cut, she shampooed it and rinsed. Typically most of the salons I go to would first shampoo the hair before the cut and then shampoo/condition+massage head after cut. Not a deal breaker as the cut was overall pretty good, just used to more pampering from a Japanese salon especially with a director level.

I had an appointment with the owner, Hiroki. It was a complete disaster. He seemed to be in a hurry that he did the haircut within 20 minutes. My previous haircut appointments with other stylists all took about an hour. He was not thorough when cutting my hair and I could see the technique was rough. In the end, my hair looked even worst than before. Not to mention that his customer service was poor compared to the other stylists I met at the salon. I was not welcomed by him. I could sense that he wanted me to leave as soon as possible. In fact, I could have gone to other lower end salons to get a better haircut with 1/3 the price. This was by far the worst hair salon experience in years. Huge disappointment.

I got a straight and digital hair perm with Celine at N15 and couldn't be happier! This is my second time receiving a hair perm with Celine at n15, and it was yet another success - I now have soft, beautiful waves that frame my face (in comparison to my naturally thick and frizzy hair). As well, Celine was so kind, attentive, and professional throughout the entire experience. She is truly a master of her craft, and I couldn't be happier about the results. I highly recommend her & n15 for anyone considering a hair perm!

I've been getting a straight digital perm + cut from Tomomi 2-3 times now. She is very kind and pleasant and I always enjoy the appointment itself, not to mention the final result on my hair. I have relatively long hair that goes halfway down my back, and so the straightening process can be tedious. However, I noticed Tomomi always takes her time and makes sure to do a thorough job. I never feel rushed! I even had questions after my appointment about balayage options, etc. for permed hair, and she took the time to answer them and show me examples. Thank you so much!!

My first time at N15 for a haircut and I had a great experience! Celine was very patient and gentle with my super thick and long hair! This is probably the first time I have ever loved a haircut. I've gotten my hair cut here twice by Celine and loved the result both times. She listens to what you ask for, communicates with you throughout the process to ensure you get what you want, and takes her time to cut your hair with care. After styling my own hair after my second cut, there was a small part that wasn't exactly how I wanted it so I contacted Celine. She was able to fit me in a few days later and fixed it for me, and it turned out great. I'll definitely return to N15 Salon for my next haircut. Both of my appointments have been during the pandemic and the salon has always been clean and has precautions in place that made me feel safe during my visit!

Had Tai for a bleach and toner service. Disappointed ????, I asked for blue and turns out to be black. After two weeks, it is like pure dark gray. When I was booking, I left a message says grayish blue, which literally means blue with some gray tone. So on the day of my appointment, he said you want blueish gray? I corrected him and showed a few photos to him. He took a look and said he got it. After the bleach he starts to brush the color on, it looks like concrete color and I said this doesn’t looks like blue, Tai said it will oxidized. So I patiently waited until it is done, turns out to be pure black. Tai kept saying it is grayish blue to him, maybe he has dichromaticy? During the whole process, he is inpatiency and doesn't care about what I said. Poor experience & lost confidence on this salon.

She’s very friendly and shared a lot of tips about how to take care of your hair, styling, etc. She listens to what you ask for and throughout the entire process she will communicate what’s happening. It’s always a pleasure having Sena do my hair! :) Also, the salon itself is gorgeous. It’s very clean and nice. A few people may find it a bit on the pricier side BUT you pay for quality. I have only good things to say about N15. The staff and service is amazing. The salon is always clean, and they practice safe Covid protocols. I highly appreciate them using vaccination passports for taking in clients. It gives me a peace of mind and makes jme feel safe when I am visiting the salon. A special shout out to Celine. I have had such wonderful experience with her. She understands what I need and gave me a cut and color accordingly. She also recommends products and services, but never puts pressure on her clients, which I truly appreciate. Recently, during my color session, when I was not very happy with my result, a bit hesitantly I told her the same and she was so forthcoming about it. She accepted that it’s her fault if her client is not happy and agreed to correct my color and now I love it. I receive so many compliments for it. I will be reaching out to Celine for all my future hair care needs.

I got a trim and the TOKIO inkarami hair treatment by Sena. I was 15 minutes late from my appointment, but she was kind enough to still accept me. She made sure to ask exactly what I needed to get done before we started anything and she talked me through the entire process. She was thorough and very nice. The place was very clean and clients were seated at alternate seats to abide by the social distancing regulations. The prices were also very reasonable. Overall, my first experience with N15 was excellent.

Got my haircut by Masato and he was AMAZING! Best haircut I have gotten in years. I have thick asian hair. My hair was just over 1 year since last cut, thick and a mess. I showed him a photo of the style/length I wanted and he took his time and got it as close to the photo as can be. He gave me tips on how to keep it and so nice! Definitely recommend and I'm going to see him for highlights in a few weeks. Salon was clean and in a great, easy to get to location.

Mana was honest in what I could and could not do with the length of my hair and payed attention to cutting my hair evenly and cleanly. I appreciated her candidness to ensure I wouldn't be asking for more than what was possible. She gave me many hair styling suggestions that I can do at home. She's good with her scissors and does a very nice scalp massage. Unfortunately, although I had mentioned my hair gets oily extremely quickly and gets weighed down as it is fine, it looks like she used way too much conditioner and styling products as it now looks greasy and stuck together after half a day. This was not the case when I came in for a wash and cut with Sena a few months ago (who is an absolute gem, by the way), so I guess your experience may very from stylist to stylist. She was also having a full on conversation with another stylist in the middle of my wash, of which I could slightly make out with my poor Japanese but I had hoped it was not about me as I had rescheduled my appointment many times due to my busy schedule. It was a little unprofessional. Overall, I found the final product to be quite underwhelming for a haircut worth almost $100. I admit I may have not made my own hair needs very clear to Mana, but I don't think I'll be advocating and promoting the salon to my friends and family as I did before.

I had really high expectations as a first-time customer. I got my hair cut and "styled" in the morning. My stylist was late, looked disinterested and unorganized right from the beginning, which was not a good start. I showed him pictures of how I'd like my haircut and styled, and in the end, it looked no where near the pictures. I had also asked for a 'blow-out' but my hair was already flat by the next hour. A lot of unnecessary heat damage with no heat protectant with no results. Would not come to this location again.
