I wanted to get a digital perm and they said they couldn’t do it because the highlighted parts of my hair would not curl and could get damaged. I suggested that if this was the case that I would settle for a trim. I guess they didn’t want to lose the sale because they suggested a regular perm instead. I figured that they were the experts and assumed they thought my hair could take it. Boy was I wrong about that. My highlighted hair is breaking off in clumps! My hair is ruined! Unless you have virgin hair… don’t get a perm here because they will take your money over the health of your hair.

Had such a great experience today! I got my balayage done from Maasa, she was super nice and knew exactly what she was doing, the highlights are blended nicely. She gave me exactly what I wanted in terms of length and colour, I highly recommend Maasa and this salon!

It was my second time here with Rina. And I'm super super satisfied! Showed her some pictures of what I want (short layered cut) and it was a big change for me since I had a very plain long hair. She kept hyping me up with this whole new different hair style during the process and turned out to be amazing and exactly what I wanted :) She also gave me some advice how I show style it too with a straightener and a hair wax for more define texture. I would definitely come back to N15 Hair Salon. It was my first time getting my hair coloured (balayage one process + cut) and Nuri was great at helping me decide what to get. Because I've never coloured my hair before we decided not to bleach it and go for a natural subtle colour. I absolutely LOVE the results. It's a sun kissed look and it makes me feel so fresh for summer. Nuri is so knowledgeable -- she knows what she is doing and she also listens. She is also so sweet and talented. Highly recommend. This is probably the best haircut + colour (first time so of course) I have received, and I have gotten so many positive compliments too. Thanks so much Nuri!!

I've been to a lot of salons in the past couple of years but haven't stuck with any... yet. I decided to come here to dye my hair through a recommendation from a friend and the overwhelmingly positive reviews online. My experience here was beyond my expectations. Jun answered all my questions and concerns when it came to colouring. He took his time colouring my hair right, even a bit past closing not rushing the process. He provided an alternative to what I wanted initially and it proved to be a more tasteful and favorable result. This was the first time in a very long time I've left a salon completely satisfied. I'm very happy with the results and I've gotten endless compliments from co-workers at the office and peers on how tastefully coloured my hair was and changed a lot people's opinion on the dyeing your hair a "crazy" colour. This place is relatively new, it opened only a few months ago. The salon is nice small, minimalistic, cute and full of light with the large storefront. They use some really nice smelling and great imported Japanese products, one of which I now use religiously. This salon isn't cheap however if you care about your hair (as I do now) and want it to be done properly, it's worth it and you will not be disappointed. I will gladly recommend this place and returning to cut and retouch my hair once it's longer.

Celine is such a kind and delicate stylist, I came in with a vague concept about what hair colour I wanted, but Celine recommended me some options. Finally, my hair colour turned out to be soooooo nice and it is really good for Asian skin colour. She is very nice and patient she cares about me if anything hurts during process of beaching, and even it took us almost 4 hours to get my hair done she is always patient and frequently checking on my hair to make sure things are going right. Will stick to Celine in the future haha and hope we can be friends actually haha! All in all, highly recommend N15 and Celine!

Issey works some serious hair magic here. I visited with hair that suffered from muddy coloring and a messy shape, the result of hurried root jobs and layering that didn't work for my texture. He fixed all that up in one go and put style back in my hair - and I didn't even have to explain a thing! He must have a true eye for what tint and shape works for each individual.

Their attention to detail is great! Usually when I get my hair washed my neck is strained and in pain. But, at this salon they have a little platform for your head to rest on, which makes the experience very enjoyable. It was my first time at the salon and I will definitely be coming back! Even now I cannot do anything with my hair bcoz its totally damaged and I even can’t iron my hair. I wasn’t satisfied with this salon at all????

I've had three haircuts from Kenta and I highly recommend him. On my most recent haircut, he did a great job of helping my get rid of my grown-out blonde while keeping as much length as possible. And he spent a ton of time making sure every layer and section was perfectly blended and even. I really appreciate his attention to detail and I love my new haircut! On my last haircut with him, I wanted to keep my hair long and just refresh the ends, and he listened and cut exactly the amount I asked for. To start let me say I'm very very very picky with who does my hair. I'm terrified of having a bad haircut. With that in mind, I chose to have Junji do my hair. I was going from a shoulder length bob to basically an undercut, to say the least my life was basically in this man's hands (this is the craziest decision I've made all year). With his many years of experience I had faith that I would leave happy. I was right. He took care to make sure everything was perfect from every angle, the dye job was meticulous, and the cut very flattering. I love how it turned out. That aside, the little things added to the experience. It was the most relaxing hair washing experience I've had, the sinks are shaped in a way they are super comfortable, and the wash was thorough without being rough and the scalp massage was a nice touch as well. I was provided with a cup of tea during my visit in a cute little cup which was lovely and helped calm my nerves. And as the little cherry on top I'm not a chatty person, particularly when I'm nervous, and I didn't feel pressured to maintain conversation, the quiet was comfortable and soothing, it was nice to just be able to watch an artist work with his chosen medium with precision and focus. Honestly, probably the best experience I have ever had and I'd say it was definitely worth the price. I will definitely be returning for future cuts. :)

Hiroki has been cutting my hair for almost 10 years now (even before N15) and he is amazing! the salon is super clean and everyone is so friendly! I am one of those people who can never articulate what hair cut style i want, but he always manages to do whatever he needs to do (I will fight/joke about going short, every other time and he won't. bc he knows it doesn't fit my head/face shape). he really cares about your hair and making sure you'll be happy!

I had my haircut done by Tomomi, the director of the salon. The staffs are pretty nice. But I am not satisfied with my new hair style. I don’t think the haircut fix my issues. It’s pretty hard to take care of it. And it doesn’t look that good. I asked her to give me some suggestions for my hair style cuz I have been looking the most suitable one for me for years. I was pretty excited before I went there cuz I expected some more professional work can be done by a director. I wouldn’t recommend it to someone that you are looking for a change. It doesn’t worth the money. I should try some other places next time.

N15 did a great job with my hair. I am usually a very indecisive person but my hair stylish Nuri was able to patiently go through a book of hair styles with me and helped me choose a design I liked. In addition, there was a lot of attention paid throughout the process. A lot of times, my hair stylist is multitasking while taking care of my hair but Nuri put all her attention into styling my hair for the duration of the hair cut.

Made a same-day reservation online, and got a haircut from Hiroki. Going into the session, Horiki and I had a brief consultation as to how I want my hair done. To assist myself explain, I have used a picture of my own from the past. The entire cut was performed by 99% shears and scissors. Hiroki is extremely precise and detail-driven. He made sure I was okay with the lengths and angles etc throughout the session. Overall extremely pleasant with the results. Hiroki and his staff surely know what they're doing. Will definitely come back.

I am satisfied with all the hair cut services in GTA. However, Mei has raised the bar high today. She is exceptionally professional and attentive to her customer's wants - I asked her to cut my hair so that it looks less frizzy and big and she completely resolved my problems. Also, her hair massage is like the heaven! It was awesome from start to finish. I loved it and it was probably one of my best hair cut experiences. Cannot recommend her highly enough. Thanks! :-)

Excellent customer service and quality hair styling. I went in not knowing what I wanted and Tomoyuki listened to my needs and patiently helped me pick out a style that would work for my lifestyle. Not only was I pleased with my hair cut, but the overall vibe of the salon is great. The music isn't too obnoxiously loud, it doesn't smell of harsh chemicals and the lighting is quite flattering. The hair products they use on you also smell lovely! Excellent price points with graduated pricing depending on the level of the stylist. I'm always bouncing around between salons trying to find a place I love, but I'm definitely going to be back to N15.

I am always hesitant to try new salons, however many of my co-workers told me that everyone is very skilled, and amazing stylists. Finally gave it a try and booked kazuma as my stylist. A few things to know, my hair grows fast, it is thick, and it grows into a giant afro. Not knowing how I wanted my hair, Kazuma took his time, asked all the questions he wanted, combed through my hair and started working. The amount of detail he took into shaving the sides, detailing my bangs, adding texture to the top of my hair was impeccable. When you are in his chair, you feel like you're in the hands of a master. Every thing he did was precise, triple checked, and not a strand of hair out of place. He also gives a killer head massage, and I actually fell asleep. Finally when he went in to style my hair, he showed me precisely how to do it from blow drying, waxing, and which strokes to do to attain certain looks. Now what shocked me of all this was that it came at an extremely affordable price!!! I budgeted $100 for this cut, but it didn't even cost that much. I honestly left an extremely high tip(100% tip), because I literally felt his talents, and services was worth it every damn penny. Was so happy after I left, but I missed out on the tea!!! Well there's always next visit!!!

I'm not a big review writer but I officially have the best haircut of my entire life thanks to Hiroki at N15. I went from LONG hair to a Lob ... probably cutting off 8-10 inches and it's better than I could have imagined. I brought in pictures of exactly what I liked and what I didn't and he paid such close attention to the nuances that he perfectly understood exactly what I was looking for. Also, I've never seen anyone examine my hair quite as closely in terms of texture. I have a lot of hair - and it can be difficult and bulky but I am literally in awe of how he cut it and how manageable it is now ... even after a long workout and its up in a sweaty bun .. I take it out and it still looks so good. He also took the time and showed me what it would look like both straight and waved. Everyone at the salon was also amazing. :) Converted for life.

Junji gave me an excellent haircut! My hair was going wild and getting too long after the lockdown. That said, I didn't really have any particular styles in mind as I sat down in the salon chair. The only pointers I mentioned were "it's too long" and "something easy to style". The end result was extremely satisfying. From my perspective, Junji was able to turn very few and abstract directions into something stylish. I didn't even know I wanted that look before he showed it to me! I recommend his service and will surely return.

I had my permanent hair straightening last week with Kenta and he is amazing! My hair is naturally the thickest curly afro, and even when I spend two hours straightening it and moisture or humidity makes it curly again. I always wear it straight so I looked into Japanese straightening and I’m so glad I did it. My hair is not damaged at all, on the contrary it feels so soft and sleek. I just washed it this morning to see the final result and it dries to a natural blow dried straight, I took a 5 min flat iron to bend my ends inward and it was done. From wash to rough dried and iron it took less than 30 mins. I’ll be back in a couple months just for the roots. I extremely recommend going to Kenta if you’re going to get you’re straightening done. Thank you Kenta so much!

Services: 5/5 Perm Quality: 0/5 First of all, I appreciate their services! After i did my first perm, which i was not satisfied, they replied my email shortly, and patiently scheduled a re-do. However, the outcomes are not pleasant at all.... The first pic was taken the day of my first perm, the second pic was taken after 2 washes... So i email them, and a re-do took 1 month after my first perm. Pic 3 was the day of my 2nd perm..and pic 4 is today...2 days after the re-do( after 1 wash).. * Just realize the pics don’t sort the way I describe..... * So if you want to do a hair cut, i guess they are great; but perm, NO!

Especially if I show a picture I wanted to look exactly like that. Anyway my stylist that I always go to moved away and so I wanted to check out this hair salon. My hair stylist was Tomoyuki. And he did an amazing job with the haircut. Not only the haircut was exactly how I wanted it, the head massage you get while washing the hair is very good as well. When I showed him the pictures of how I want my hair to look like. He carefully examined, taking his time and looking back and forth with my hair, which means he’s thinking about what to go first and etc. Which means a lot to me because it shows me he wanted to make it look exactly how the picture does. He kept asking questions which was very good because it shows me which way I wanted it or is there something I wanted to change. He was very focused and taking his time and he didn’t rush anything. He was very polite and very nice. Everything was just amazing. I would love to go back here again! Thank you for an amazing first experience.

I'd been going to hair salons in Korea in the past, and was never really satisfied with their service. But this place was truly amazing! I had the best experience ever. Tomoyuki was very professional and polite and did an amazing job with the haircut. First time customer. I had long hair before and wanted to try a short hair style and ending up getting a bowl cut for over $100 with a director (I brought in pictures and did not ask for a bowl cut). It is difficult to get a hair cut with mask on and the hairdresser did not even check what my whole face looked like. Not going back again. the people here are nice but the online booking system is wrong. When I booked online, I put root touchup but changed to blow dry for some reason. When I went in, this wasn't confirmed with me and when I realized we weren't doing what I wanted, it was too late to "do what I wanted" and I had to come back, which was inconvenient for me especially after I went out of my way to book an appointment. The price is also really high, if I were to do a root touchup and a haircut it would have been more expensive than my original full highlights and haircut done at another salon. I won't be going back.

Some quick points - N15 uses Olaplex to maintain the health of your hair with no extra charge! - they cut/style/dye men hair and do a great job at it! At a different salon, my hair was dyed and the colour turned out orangy instead of brown (ash base) like I wanted. I decided to have Jun T at N15 fix it because I saw the other pictures posted by previous clients and it looked like he did good work. My hair needed several steps to get it to the colour I wanted, something which the other salon did not know. I showed Jun a picture of the colour I was trying to achieve and let him work his magic. I was there for 4 hours having it bleached, lifted and toned. My hair was NOT dry when he was done with it, and I asked him how that happened, he said they use Olaplex and high quality products. I've been to other places that charge extra for Olaplex and offer it to customers like an added bonus even if they don't need it. The colourists here assess and put it in if they think your hair could use the care and DO NOT charge extra for it - this is something I did not know going into my appointment, and was a welcomed bonus. My hair came out exactly the way I wanted plus soft!! I wanted to add, that while i was waiting for my colour to set it, I saw half a dozen male customers, one to have his roots dyed, and the others for cuts. The root touch-up that I saw was amazing, they matched the color perfectly and he looked happy and younger when he left. I was also watching their stylists cut the hair of some other male customers and noticed that they're really good! At most places, guys get buzzed with a no.2 clipper and that's that - at N15 the stylists take precise measurements and cut with scissors, not clippers. It was really interesting to watch. The guys walked out happy and looking good! I definitely recommend this place for your hair colouring/cutting/styling needs! Great job N15 !

WASTE of Money & Waste of TIME! WILL NEVER GO AGAIN!!! Not Recommended ❌ Read such amazing reviews about this place and the stylists which made me just give this salon a try even though its a bit pricey! My Stylist was Kento and he was very patient and answered all my questions. I asked him if Digital Perm would be a good choice for my hair as its frizzy and wavy or should I try something different considering that being a senior stylist he would be the best person to make that call. Kento suggested Keratin initially and I rejected as I had tried keratin before and as I lost a lot of hair in that process would rather like to try something new! I was very clear that whatever the treatment be I want frizz-free hair...wavy or straighten but frizz free to which he said he understands not puffy!! He asked me to try straightening without ironing and it will be less damaging compared to digital straightening or keratin and when I asked if that will make my hair look frizz free and he said that he will check after the use of chemical and first wash. I clearly said I want a treatment after which I don't want to use flat iron or blow dry my hair everyday and he said YES and repeated the whole thing that I don't want to use any of those things everyday to make it look less puffy. I mentioned that whichever treatment he thinks will make my hair look more natural and less puffy we will try that and he said straightening without ironing and he will wash and check the status. He told me the treatment will cost me 100$ + without ironing and if he uses the flat iron to straighten then it will be more time consuming and will be 189$ + taxes. After the first wash I told him this is not what I wanted and I am not happy so I am ready to pay but please iron and make it straight and frizz free. To Make it more CLEAR I asked him to air dry my hair to see the actual result that there's hardly any difference after the use of chemical that he used vs before. He agreed to iron my hair but it was very lightly done and I could still see the inside hair wavy and few strands even curly. After so called straightening he said thats the final look ( plz chk the first pic attached ) and I was literally in tears that I just got robbed ( 214 $ ) for a look like this!!! I asked him this is not what I asked and if he can do something to fix it. To which he said that as per what I told him I didn't want straight hair but natural looking hair so thats what he did and there's nothing he can do today as he has other appointments and ask me to come later some other day. I pleaded if anyone can fix this as I am not ready to pay 200$ for this and that I am travelling this week and also working the next few days so there's no way I can come. He said he had checked the schedule and there was no one available. As he left I started crying thinking why I followed the google reviews and why I did I do this to myself! After a few mins he returned and when I asked what we are doing he said he will fix it by using the more concentrated chemical to make it look straight and less frizzy!! After the second treatment, wash and a HOT blow dry the result was nothing remotely close to my expectation ! Is this you call Hair STRAIGHTENING ???? And Kento said that after every wash I need to blow dry and hair will look like THIS!! I repeated you want me to still blow dry to make it look frizz free which was my very first condition that I don't want to use anything after this treatment ???????????? Tears were rolling down my cheeks when I stepped out of the salon as people passing by looked at me and asked me what happened and if I was alright. I couldn't believe what just happened in the last 4 hours... how I wish I had not read any reviews about this place or I wish something could have stopped me from coming here . As I write this review I am still crying inconsolably thinking of the money that I wasted ...the time and money that I had thought of investing in good summer hair instead wasted for NOTHING !! ???? Please don't waste your money people....

I just had my first hair appointment at N15 (College and Bay) location, and I have to say that it was the best experience I have ever had at a hair salon . From the moment I entered the beautiful salon, to the time that I left, I was extremely satisfied with the customer experience that I received. My hair appointment was for hair cut and colour with Junji the director of this location. Prior to getting my hair cut and coloured, Junji had a consultation with me to figure out what I wanted. He knew what I wanted better than I could put into words. We ended up doing a cut (the best cut I have ever had) and instead of full colour we decided to go with balayage to obtain the 3D look I wanted rather than one tone of colour. I asked to go as natural as possible, and he obliged. I LOVE my cut and new colour. No hairstylist has ever been able to fully understand how to properly cut my hair. Junji took his time and used the precision cutting technique to achieve the look I wanted. I have never been more in love with my hair. Thank you so much, Junji! I will be back to N15 to see you for sure, and I will recommend you to anyone who is looking for an awesome hairstylist.

Had a really good experience here with Tomomi. She’s really nice and patient, I had a middle bob and communicated with her about my thoughts on the styling. The result is perfect and I don’t need to style my hair everyday even for 5 minutes to get a perfect style, I just wash my hair and blow dry then I can get the same as I walk out the salon.

I waited almost 25 minutes for my appointment with two apologies (one in the beginning and one at the end when I was paying) with no explanation whatsoever. I was impressed the way Tomomi styled my hair mainly because of the brush but was extremely disappointed the way my hair turned out. I cleared stated that it was my first time and I was not impressed at the fact that I had to wait for a long time despite the appointment and told her she better do a good job. Clearly, she didn't. I hate the way my hair turned out. I heard many good things about N15. I was going to wait for Hiroki but didn't want to wait until mid August (which turned out I should have!). I will try one more time with Hiroki and if it turns out like Tomomi's haircut, I will never go back!

I just had a TERRIBLE experience with this salon. I had no time to see my regular stylist at another salon in time for a wedding I'm in, so I booked a balayage appointment at N15 to get my blonde balayage touched up there. I should say that I have fine hair but my hair takes bleach just fine and I've been getting it bleached for years now. I was quoted $350 for balayage, which is twice what I usually pay. After I asked if perhaps we could do regular highlights instead for $200, I was told my hair was too damaged to have ANYTHING done to it but a toner and they were too nervous to take the "risk" of "breaking" my hair. I explained that I was perfectly fine with some breakage and was willing to take the risk. After some back and forth where the stylist kept insisting he was too anxious to put bleach on my hair, I left. Will not be going back.

Great location. Between Wellsley and College station. I went on March 26 for Japanese hair straightening ( digital straightening). My natural hair is wavy-straight and I used to flat iron it. The process takes about 3 hours and my hair is a bit longer than shoulder length. So it you have longer hair it may take longer. Also, the cost changes. Mine came to $356. I had some bleached parts and the stylist suggested that I may consider going with a milder treatment to be on the safe side. But after the treatment, I felt like it could have been more straight. I was offered a complimentary touch-up but I didn't go back because didn't want to overdo it and risk damaging my hair. My hair was very thin and fragile the first few weeks but now looks normal and healthy. I'm happy that I don't have to flat iron my hair anymore. It has saved me time and my hair is less damaged. I would consider this again but go less milder or go with perm. If you do have bleach hair this treatment may not be ideal. You can go for consultation. They also offer other treatments. Communication is a bit challenging but staff are nice and do their best to communicate.

I would like to say this is the MOST disappointing experience I have ever got from a hair cut in Toronto in recent 4 years. First of all, the service is bad, when I tried to enter the salon, the lady who welcomed me have bad attitude and got my appointment's name wrong and let me waited outside for about 4 mins before finally get the appointment right and letting me come in, then I did not get a hair wash before I started the haircut, the stylist just went straight ahead with cutting my hair. Second, this is the most disappointing part, the hair cut is simply SO BAD. The stylist talked with me before we get started, however, he seemed to forget whatever we talked about during the hair cut, we agreed on only cut 1-2 cm of my hair since I did a perm about 3 months ago, yet when he cut my hair, it was way more than 1-2 cm and he kept thinning out my hair until it looks so bad, I don't know if the stylist is intentional or not but it's simply a very terrible way of cutting my hair and my hair lost all structure and curl after the cut. It is absolutely unacceptable. Finally, the reason I'm writing the review right now and did not confront the stylist is because the stylist did the hair wax and blow dry, it did not look bad at the moment I paid, but only after I got home and looked at it more closely, I realize absolutely how terrible the hair cut is !! Usually, I'm very forgiving on this kind of services due to COVID-19 and I know the stylist have a hard time with our face masks on, however, this time is not a simple mask issue !! The stylist simply cut and thin out my hair without thinking any consequences or if it looks good on me which is absolutely disgusting. It should not be a acceptable practice for any barber. I don't want to give out the stylist's name because I know everyone have their privacy, but if you're a person from N15 salon reading this, I just got haircut this morning about 1 hour 30 mins ago and the appointment name is Charles. I hope you know who I'm talking about. I've been an N15 salon customer for the last 2 years but I will not go to N15 Salon anymore, I hope you guys know how disappointing and terrible this hair cut was.

Tai was late 15 minutes to my consultation appointment. When i booked my appointment online i left a note saying i have permed hair but looking to do ombre. He came 15 min late didnt even ask me to take a seat and told me we can just talk in the waiting area and told me bleaching permed hair will make my perm go away. (Befor i even said anything) so since he was aware of my hair condition prior to my appointment it seemed like he didnt really care or bother to give me any proper customer service for the appointment i booked. Not friendly at all and jusg pretty much felt like I was shooed away cuz he knew he couldnt get anything out of my hair. I dont understand why he couldn’t tell me via email or phone that my hair cannot be worked on, instead of making me come in and wait only to hear his 1 minute conclusion. Not coming here again - i did get ombre before at Seefu and they offer much better service.

I thought the haircut was okay until I went to my colourist (different salon), who informed me that they did not take care of my hair based on my daily needs. I have balayage grey done on black hair. When I went in for a haircut, I said that I was getting my hair dyed again in a week. After cutting, my stylist told me that he was thinning out my hair. I didn’t think much because I wasn’t informed of how this could affect my hair, as my stylist made it seem like standard practice. I was a stunned that, after thinning, nearly HALF of my hair was gone. My hair was curled on the day of so I didn’t notice that much difference. Fast forward I get my hair dyed again, my colourist was horrified by how thin my hair was. She said to never get my hair thinned out again because bleaching black hair causes so much damage, and I need to preserve as much hair as I can so that weak hair naturally breaks off after bleaching. Now I’m left with thin hair that won’t grow back for a very long time, and short layers that made the bottom of my hair way too thin as well. I really wish hair thinning was presented to me as an option, explained, rather than a nonchalant statement. I also wish that the stylist took the fact that I bleach my hair regularly into account. All in all, I’m left missing my thick hair, and the fact that my hair will be top heavy for a very very long time.

I had Celine do colour and cut for me and did a really good job at addressing my concerns. I wanted to have the colour complement my skin tone and it's exactly the kind of result that I wanted. My mom is usually hard to please when it comes to me getting my hair coloured but she really liked how it looked on me. As for the haircut, Celine really took the time to address my concern about my thick hair because I wanted to thin it down since it was getting so heavy. I wanted a short haircut so it would have looked very rounded instead of straight if it wasn't thinned properly but she was really dedicated and patiently thinned it down to make sure that it was to the size that I wanted it. My head feels so much lighter and free now so I'm extremely satisfied with the results.

I never write reviews but since I'm so unhappy with what they did to my hair, I must share my experience. I almost left the place in tears and felt so defeated that they didn't do anything to fix my hair even after telling them more than once that I did not like how it looks. I was looking forward to checking this place out after reading so many glowing reviews. I decided to go to the Bay and Dundas location that just recently opened up. As most people do, I did my research and went online to read their reviews. They seem pretty solid so I thought that my hair would be in great hands. I even decided to spend a little more and booked my appointment with Tomomi (Hiroki was all booked up) who seemed like a cool and experienced hair stylist after reading about her on their website. You'd think that I can't go wrong with this right? Well no...I told Tomomi my main concerns but pretty much left it up to her capable hands and judgement to do the rest. First of all the wash was so mediocre. I could not tell whether she used conditioner on my hair or not so I thought they would give it another rinse after the cut but that wasn't the case. Then she starting cutting my hair to the agreed length and explained afterwards that she would be thinning it and adding layers to it after blow drying it. Usually this is when the magic happens during a haircut, when the transformation begins but for me, I wish she would have left it as is because: 1) I do not see any layers 2) The bottom part is still so thick that I do not think she thinned it out at all. She did do it again after I mentioned it to her but it made no difference whatsoever 3) Even after telling her how I wasn't happy with the way my hair turned out, I even suggested straightening it or even going shorter because I hate the way it looks, she just agreed and yet she did nothing about it Hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. I certainly will not come back again. Not worth spending close to $100 for a bad cut and style and walking out of the place feeling so helpless and with low self-esteem.

Pretty unhappy with the haircut to be honest. My hair is wavy and textured and tends to add a lot of volume at the bottom but not at the top. I told the hairdresser my concerns and how I wanted a haircut to even things out not have that /\ shape and something that would balance it without me having to style it every time I wash my hair. The haircut looked fine once she styled it but after my first wash, honestly it doesn’t look very good and seems like a more pronounced /\ problem. Especially for the price, I’m not satisfied. On the positive side, the hair dresser seemed to have taken her time doing it which I appreciate (it didn’t feel rushed).

This time I had my hair cut short for first time in my life, and I was worried because I have very curly hair despite being Asian. I expressed my concern and Celine was very attentive to our consultation. It almost worked like magic how she handled my hair and I am very satisfied with my new experimental hair style and would recommend her to anyone who is considering visitng N15 hair salone. She is also expert at doing colours as well. I love my wine-ish hair colour I did few month ago :)

I was hesitant to write a review, since I really wanted to enjoy my experience at N15. I have previously done treatments here (MEU twice), which left my hair feeling soft and smooth. Since I had a good experience, I thought I would switch up hairstylists and get a haircut + touch up my previous balayge by a senior stylist. It made sense since N15 was closer in location and the price was slightly cheaper- which turned out to be a terrible mistake, never cheat on your hairstylist! The haircut turned out good, but the dye was not. I had booked for partial head highlights and told the stylist I don't like dye going up to my roots; more specifically I preferred it was near the ends (more sun-kissed). I already had a previous balayage done a year ago and I just wanted some touch up. Here were the few things that went wrong: 1. The highlights were up to my roots and were also very streaky/chunky and uneven. The bottom portion was ok, only because it was from a previous balayage. 2. The dye was not bad at first, it was a dark brown. However, after a few washes (not even a week), the dye had started to become brassy and almost a blondish/green. With care, my previous balayage would last for a full year, so I know it's not because of the products I used. 3. The stylist spent nearly 4 hours on something that should have been more of a touch up. I would understand if it was that long for a balayage, but I don't understand why it took that long for a one step dye for a couple of strands. I ended up cancelling another appointment because I thought it would take up to 2.5 hours max. 4. The price ended up being more expensive than my usual salon. It was a senior stylist cut and partial head highlights which should be around ~$158, and the stylist had done olaplex without asking, so it ended up being around ~$200 or more for something that looks like box dye. The color turned more brassy/green as I continued washing so I decided to go to my main salon to color correct and spend another $100. I'm pretty disappointed and I guess I've learnt my lesson. Always read reviews thoroughly before going in, I just assumed since the stylist was a senior that I could trust them. I should have booked with another stylist with more reviews instead.

I have been going to Kazuma for over 3 years now and I can truly say that he is the only person I trust with my hair. I have Asian hair but also have slightly wavy hair that is thinner on top but thick in the back, which ends up being frizzy and heavy almost all my life. However Kazuma has changed this completely. His skills are a true artist especially his layering skills - he creates a lot of beautiful texture in my hair just with a pair of scissors. He always leaves my hair with great body and beautiful layers that is easy for me to maintain. A lot of places take a shortcut by layering your hair with razors (which causes split ends) but Kazuma does it with only his scissors and goes over every strand of my hair (almost literally) so meticulously! Because he takes his time, my cut lasts for months, looks healthy and my hair feels lighter and beautiful at the same time. His attentiveness is very rare to find, and he always gives me his honest opinion on what looks good, and he is right each and every time!! I am always thankful of his details to every cut he does for me and I always get compliments as soon as I step out of the salon. Coming out of Covid restrictions, I couldn’t get an appointment with him due to demand but I waited an extra month (8 months in total) just so that I could only see him! He is THAT good. Also, the massage during the hair wash, they are so wonderful I almost fall asleep every time ☺️ If you are a new client, please just book with Kazuma, you won’t ever regret it! I am a loyal client for 3 years and will continue going to him for years to come!!!

Went in with blonde hair, looking for ombré (brown on top, fading into my current blonde). Walked out with brown hair - admittedly darker on top the bottom, but still completely brown. I told both the stylist and the receptionist, and neither seemed to care that my hair looked nothing like the picture I showed them. Bought a box of hair dye on the way home to fix it. I normally hate giving bad reviews but paying 250 for hair that looks nothing what I asked is super upsetting. UPDATE - I sent an email to the salon expressing my disappointment. No reply. I ended up going to Black Sheep Hair on Church and getting my hair fixed. It looks amazing now - exactly what I wanted. I suggest going there instead.

I've only gotten eyelash extensions here but I found that I have received great service and quality for a fair price. My lashes turned out great and Marina was very good at understanding what I wanted. I brought a picture for reference and she did a great job at translating that look into a version that suits my face the best. For my second visit they had kept the information sheet she had filled in previously and she was able to recreate exactly what I got the last time without another consultation, as she already had the type of lash and size I wanted before. Overall this place has excellent service and you won't feel any regret for spending your money there. I am eager to try other salon services and to change my usual go to salons just to get more great service.

I booked an appointment with Tomomi for a cut and colour. Came in with some source photos of what I wanted and Tomomi spent a lot of time consulting with me first about whether we could achieve the look and what to expect. Given it was my first time there, she spent a lot of time understanding the history of my hair, especially on what kind of colouring I have done previously. She was very patient, professional, and meticulous in her work. She consulted and informed me of the process throughout. Meanwhile, Hiroki (I believe that is the owner's name) observed to ensure quality assurance. It is very clear that they all take hair seriously there, and I truly appreciate that. I liked that they did not upsell or try to push products on me. It was truly just about the hair and my experience. Whenever something needed to be done in order to achieve the look I wanted (like add highlights), it was brought to my attention and I consented to them after being fully informed of what/why it needs to be done (some salons do not seek your consent and just do it to "upsell"). When it came to pricing, it was transparent and clear. No opaque pricing, I paid for the services I received, which is well documented online and in person. I most definitely would recommend this salon to anyone who is trying to find a good go-to stylist and a new salon to call home. I have never found a stylist/salon I would be loyal to in Toronto until I came to this salon. I will be returning as a customer myself in the near future.

I booked an appointment with Junjin. He was very gentle with my hair. I got an dark blonde brunette ombre. My hair is naturally blonde so it didnt take as long to do my hair. It took about 3 and a half hours. I had him trim my hair as well. My hairdresser was amazing! I would definitely recommend, however it is on the pricer side.

I loved the experience at N15. I was relaxed the whole time. They were very professional. Mami was my stylist, she gave me a beautiful haircut and she styled my hair just as I asked. She really listened to what I wanted and she made small suggestions so that the hairstyle I was going for would fit my face. It was not expensive compared to other salons. Bonus - they are not pushy, they don't try to sell you products or treatments; however, if you are interested in these extras, they will give you all the info you want. I will definitely go back! Had my hair cut by Hiroki yesterday, WOW the man is a master of his craft is all I can say. Never had my hair cut so precisely and skillfully. Definitely will be going back here for regular trims! I have tangly fine (caucasian) hair and a lot of it. Literally feel 10lbs lighter after getting my hair cut, and for the first time in a long time I was able to brush through my hair this morning without pulling out/snapping a bunch of my hairs!! Highly recommend this place and Hiroki in particular.

I had my hair cut and straightening permed 2months ago. I'd read good reviews about this salon so i was excited to try. I don't know about what other stylists are like but I was pretty disappointed with my experience with Rina. The haircut was done in 10mins and literally, she just cut the length without considering the style or sth. The bottom of my hair had been damaged from the previous bleaching so she suggested that I'd better get only my root area straightened instead of straightening my whole hair. My hair wasn't long at all tho. I was initally going to straightenen my whole hair but I decided to listen to her advice. My hair looked good at the time I was done but 2 days later, after I washed my hair, I realized that upper left part of my root (close to my forehead) hadn't been straightened at all. It was pretty disappoining but I didnt wanna go through any hassel to go back to the salon. Also, according to your website, the Japanese digital straightening perm lasts 6months, but even 2 months later now, my hair already became wavy. I didn't expect it to last 6months but I don't know what's special about your skills or chemical process. One last thing is, the price. Before I went to the salon I'd spoke to your staff twice to figure out how much it would cost approximately, by showing the current photo of my hair and the style I wanted to have. She said the straightening perm for my hair with Rina would be ranging from $249+tax to $279+tax. Even though I ended up straightening only the root on the spot, Rina asked me for $269+tax for the perm, which I didn't understand how it could be so close to the maximum price even though I didn't get the perm for my whole hair. Anyway after the conversation, we settled to lower price than that but it was kind of uncomfortable. Rina was a kind person, but honestly I wasn't satisfied with my treatment. I don't find anything special from this salon so I don't think I will come back when the price(plus tips) is taken into account.

I've been trying to find a new salon near to me for a few months and I finally found a keeper. I booked an appointment online (super easy) with Tomoyuki and arrived to a bright and clean salon. The small things they did from my friendly welcome to a soft blanket while getting my hair washed, really made this salon stand out. Tomoyuki was thorough, patient and explained exactly what he thought would freshen up my hair. He then took his time making sure the cut was perfect. The cut was amazing and the price was terrific, I'll definitely be back to see him.

Extremely disappointed in my recent appointment. In truth, I want my money back lmao. I spent a whopping $466 on a straight perm that was said to last 4 to 6 months, but only lasted 3-4 weeks even with extra care. I honestly DO NOT recommend this place for perms and ONLY recommend haircutters Senior Level and up. Verdict: 1. I told her I didn't want to get my hair cut because a senior cut my hair a month before and she still pressured me to cut it, resulting in my hair being way too short to my liking and was not cut nicely. (Additional $50 charge by the way) 2. Should have paid more attention and time in breaking the bonds of my hair because I have strong hair that needs more processing time, which if it's not properly done, the straight perm cream would not well absorb into the hair. 3. Straight perm is not worth almost half a grand. 4. Pieces of my hair started to curl on the subway back home 5. The next few days, my hair started to curl and I would constantly straighten my hair in mornings to keep it straight. 6. It only lasted 3-4 weeks (even though they told me it would last 4-6months) NOTE: This entire time I was meticulously taking extra care of my hair. You can definitely go to cheaper places and get the same results as N15.

I had a digital curly perm done here by Hiroki in early September after reading the many positive reviewers online but was very disappointed. My hair is extremely fine and was waist-length at that time. I can usually get it to hold a curly wave for most of the day but I wanted bouncier curls with better hold. Hiroki said that because my hair is so long, the weight would pull down the curl and insisted that I cut my hair. I hadn't planned on sacrificing a lot of length but I allowed him to cut off 2-3 inches. When I asked, he said he would curl my hair all the way up to the roots but applied the perm solution only up to the top of my ear. Unfortunately because he was rather cold as another reviewer mentioned I didn't feel comfortable questioning him. I wish I did because only half of my hair ended up curled. But he charged me the maximum amount for very long hair even though it wasn't that long once he'd cut it and he hadn't actually applied perm solution to the entire length of my hair! And to make it worse, the curls started getting looser after only two weeks. By mid-October my hair was back to the way it was before. So I had to pay over $300 to get curls for less than a month?!? I definitely think this salon is overrated, overpriced and wouldn't go back again.

Very nice and friendly staff and the place was also quite efficient as I was seated right away. The cut itself was good and Shoyo took his time and made sure it was done well. The only minus is the place is a little small so seemed a bit cluttered especially at the hair washing station. You have to be careful not to trip over people as they are getting their hair washed.

N15 is truly a place to treat yo' self. Modern and class vibes all around. Excellent staff and quality services are what you can expect. I have tried several places for eyelash extensions and I don't think any place has ever compared to the quality that N15 provides. I always get lots of compliments on my lashes thanks to Hannah!! (she's seriously the best). Their lash extensions look very natural and last a long time. The rooms are relaxing, clean and very comfortable. Love this place! Quality spot to get a shellac manicure as well :)

Due to the pandemic, I got a haircut for the first time in almost a year by Tomoyuki back in November. My ends were incredibly uneven at the time. Tomoyuki helped me determine a haircut that would suit my lifestyle (low maintenance), my hair texture (2a/b) and almost 5 months later, it is growing out well. Unlike my previous haircut, I think I can likely go almost a year without a haircut. And the salon had all the necessary covid-19 safety procedures in place.
