Very disappointed with my haircut. She curled it and didn’t see how was the cut at the back of my hair until my first shower at home, it was awful. Basically she didn’t get what I was trying to explain the cut i wanted. She charged $65 for an awful cut. Don’t recommend!

Most inexperienced place ever. Messed up HUGE on my hair then apparently didn’t charge me for a cut or the treatment (which was them trying to fix my hair) and costed over $300 which is apparently the minimum. Do not recommend this place to anyone, you will walk out super unhappy and they make you pay for their mistakes. Definitely feel robbed and taken advantage of.

Kym is the best!! She's the perfect mix of professional and personable. I had my hair completely butchered at another salon by an angry hairdresser - she immediately sympathized with me, reassured me I'd done nothing wrong, gave me advice on what she thought would look best, listened to everything I said and took it into consideration with the cut, checking in a few times to make sure we were on the same page. She even offered to help me learn how to style my hair the way I'd been hoping to. The cut was much closer to what I wanted and she assured me that once it grew in a bit more she would fix the rest up - she also made recommendations on colour and told me we could fix that too. I felt very taken care of and didn't worry about my hair at all in her hands - total contrast to the previous day's trauma, lol.

Never did a review before, but people here were so frustrating. I had my haircut done here, after I washed and dried my hair at home, it showed how some part of my hair didn't get touched by the scissor, and it looked uneven. I emailed them, (noy in a complaining way) to at least fixed what they did to my hair, but NO RESPONSE. I am not asking for a FREE haircut! I just want the hairdresser in this Eclipps Hair Cafe to fixed the lousy haircut she did. But they never get back to me. But if your booking an appointment with them, it'll only take 10 minutes for them to response to email, and now that I am just asking for a re do, they totally IGNORED my email. After a pricey, lousy haircut, they quoted me another pricey hair colour-my hair length didn't even touched my shoulder. And this salon is claiming that they've been in the business for x amount of years! Unbelievable. Simple request from a first time customer, and they cannot even accomodate to respond. Don't GO TO THIS SALON! IT'LL ONLY SUCKED YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY, IN RETURN FOR A LOUSY SERVICE. WASTE OF TIME AND WASTE OF MONEY! AFTER READING YOUR RESPONSE-I DECIDED TO MAKE ANOTHER RESPONSE: I DID NOT WENT TO THIS SALON TO FIX MY PREVIOUS HAIRCUT, I ASKED FOR LAYERS AND KEEP THE LENGTH OF IT. Simple haircut for about $60 + tip (they prefer have from 30% up). I did nothing except trimming my hair, no shampoo or anything. I think you can get cheaper for that. Service is good enough, friendly and polite.

This was the 2nd time I had my hair cut at Eclipps. The so called hair stylist asked me what did I want and I replied that I wanted to shape and style my hair. There was not the slightest bit of shaping and styling involved as all she did in the 15 minutes of hair cutting was use electric clippers to cut my hair evenly short over my whole head. This is the last time I will go there.

Kym was AMAZING! Had a trim done by her and she fixed my thin ends. Then I went back for her to color my hair, I had been box dying it and had a lot of unwanted red instead of brown, when I went to see her she had already thought of all the options I could go with and explained each one to me and worked with me to pick the best one! Had a great experience here today. When I called to make a last minute booking for today...a sunday, the receptionist picked up right away and I was booked in within 5 minutes of my call. I was able to get in right away. Had a great chat with my stylist, chie. I greeted her in japanese to show I can speak some too lol. We spoke half japanese half english which was fun. she was super attentive to my hair and never seemed rushed. I was given a mocha while I waited too. The chairs for washing your hair were very comfy. Well worth the money. Great ambiance and attentive staff

My grand daughter loves going to Eclipps Hair Salon. She has very thick, long Asian hair and it is hard to manage. Brian has been cutting her hair for a year and it is so much easier to brush and dry. He spends time with her and treats her like the young adult that she is. The salon is clean, welll laid out and all the staff is friendly and welcoming. They offer refreshments with the cut and I even get a latte while I wait for my grand daughter. Brian is fast and his cuts are very professionally done. I got the recommendation from a friend who comes all the way from Burnaby to have her hair done here. Love this place! I have been to this salon twice already. Today was my third time. My stylist was Andréa. She was amazing. She took good care of my hair and did exactly what I asked for. Apart from an incredible job, she is also a very friendly person. I was never bored sitting there for 4 hours. You can rely on her if you ever get your hair colored. I have never bleached my hair before and she was very patient with explaining it to me. I love her.

This is the 2nd time I got Trisha and I have to say, she is so amazing, friendly, professional and chatty. Both time's I've come in, my hair needs a re do over completely and she gets it bang on. She was beyond thorough in explaining the pros and cons, what the options were with regards to permanent or semi permanent colour, to bleach or not to bleach, how to care for the colour post application, costs involved and upkeep appointments. She answered all my questions and was not only professional but so much fun for the duration of our appointment. I would highly recommend Andrea as a colourist and as an expert stylist. I came in this past Friday with box-dyed hair that was an ugly reddish black (multiple colours that I had attempted at home, combined with some old professionally applied colours). It was my first time visiting Eclipps and had called the previous night to book a colour-correction appointment. They were extremely friendly on the phone and accommodated my schedule for the next day even though I booked so last minute. :) I came in and saw Pam, and as soon as I sat down in her chair I knew I was going to be well-looked after and that she would be able to save my hair from the hideous colour that it was. She is very fun, friendly, experienced and knowledgeable, and I soon learned that all the hairdressers at Eclipps know what they're talking about and I would be able to trust any one of them. Lattes, mochas and small truffles were provided throughout my appointment, and the atmosphere held good energy and positive vibes. I consulted with Pam about what colour options we had because of how dark my hair currently was and how much needed to be stripped away. My original idea was an aqua blue ombre or teal, and so we began bleaching and treating and toning. To my surprise, Pam was able to get my hair to a beautiful white blonde in 1 appointment and even after all of that, my hair had no breakage, was soft and looked shiny. We decided to make a second appointment for adding the blue colour so I came in the next day. Once again, Pam outdid herself with efficient, quality and friendly service and was able to take my hair from it's original box-dyed colour(s) to a beautiful mix of blues, silvers, blondes and turquoise. I am so happy with how it turned out and will definitely be back. I highly recommend Eclipps and would trust them with anything concerning my hair. All the staff are beautiful, happy and kind people who deserve great tips and reviews. So please head to Eclipps if you want an amazing hair experience! :)

Although the stylists and I use that word loosely are nice they certainly do not know how to cut or style hair - I’m sad because I really wanted to like this place but when your hair is butchered and you pay good money and you have go back again to fix it and then. have a “stylist” butcher it again then run off crying when asked what she was doing in a polite way I may say it makes you wonder where this place hires their so called “stylists” the second girl although she was nice finished the cut and tried to fix it but one side is longer then the other LOL omg! It’s ok again a HUGE lesson learned - never go back and do not recommend!! I think I’m the one who should be offended.......... I’m adding photos of what this place did to my hair.....UPDATE! I waited a while so my butchered hair can grow a bit before getting it fixed, went to a PROFESSIONAL STYLIST and he was in shock at how badly butchered my hair was he even asked where did you get this done? I told him eclipse in new Westminster........I told him how awful they treated me and how it made me feel and how traumatized I was, he took his time to fix the awful hair cut and asked if I would go pixie as this was the only way to really fix it properly I told him no I really didn’t want to go that short, he understood and appreciate every effort he made to make sure I left his salon feeling good which I did, it’s still not what I wanted but what an improvement! He advised NEVER GO BACK I told him trust me not even in my nightmares would I! He laughed and so did I lol

I have a lovely hair dresser named trisha , she is always smiling, I went on thurs to get my hair dyed and it turned out to be black instead of dark brown, I called her and she told me to come back in and she fixed it for free, I love her and deff will keep her as my permanent hair dresser, she does a great job on my hair, cant forget to mention that I had to take my 15 month son along with me to get it fixed as I didn't have someone to watch him, the staff kept him entertained and chia and Bryan helped look after him so I could get my hair done stress free, thank you everyone.

If you want to be valued as a customer and for your money as well don't come here!!!! I am a local guide you should listen to my story I walked into the store with no one sitting down one customer is leaving. I asked how much it is for a trim they told me is $55 without shampooing. Is Tall Blond told me it's only $2 more for shampooing as if she has no value for my money or as a potential client. I went there after I visited a salon that charges $35 with shampooing. That Salon was fully booked. I said to The Tall Blond at eclipse that I want the easiest cut in the world a blunt cut and I don't want to pay $55 for it and it's really weird it doesn't come with shampooing then she proceeded to try and to insult me, being unprofessional and saying we don't have time for you anyways! With an attitude! I had no response and just left. No one was in that huge Salon. Walking out the door she says to me have a good day and I say to my boyfriend that she is so fake. I went back to the first salon and booked an appointment and everyone heard me when I said the people at Eclipse Salon is rude AF. And guess what that stylist that booked me said? "I've heard" at eclipse the attitude I received had nothing to do with the way I looked. I'm wearing a nice dress I have my nails and lashes done. Ffs I was a hair stylist. Lot of stylist don't like doing blunt cuts but I find it easy it's just a freaking straight line When I find a salon I stay there. There's lots of things I want to do with my hair. I also wanted to patch test my hair to see if it will lighten. And later do a bob with an ombre natural to blonde affect

Not only will they make you pay for their mistake, they tell you to come back in a month to ‘fix’ your hair. you go to a hairstylist to make your hair amazing. not come out upset and having to pay for their mistakes when they don't know how to colour hair.

I had my hair highlights done today at Eclipse the entire staff was wvery decent professional as well as friendly they make u very comfortable I had my hairdo from Tenzin he is just too amazing in his work he carries a lot of knowledge about hair color treatments n many more very innovative and a talented guy Will definitely come back to do more of my hair do in future . Strongly recommend Tenzin he is too good????

It was way too over-priced for a dry hair cut. Overall, I paid $54 for a 15 minute haircut. I wanted my hair trimmed and a bit of layers which I got but no extra special products were added, no blow dry and even a wet spray. For that price, I expected better service but instead my experience was uncomfortable and awkward. The hair dresser wasn't a bad hair dresser but I didn't have that feeling of being pampered or feeling satisfied with my new hair. It was just like, "Oh it's shorter." Atleast I got what I wanted which was no split ends. Would I come back? Probably not. A hair cut is one thing but a good experience is another.

Really unfortunate. My young daughter went in to get the full treatment including foils for her 14th birthday and the stylist did not listen. My daughter ended up mortified with her too short cut and very wierd color job and says she will never go to a hair salon again. Very expensive mistake for a birthday no less.

I called in on a Sunday morning looking for a men's cut and wash for later in the day, lucky me they were able to squeeze me in for a 2:45 appointment with Bryan. No sweat second time I would be seeing him and was satisfied with the last cut he gave me. Arrived on time and was greeted by Bryan and brought to his chair. I explained to him that I was satisfied with the cut last time but wanted to go a little shorter on the top. I asked if he remembered the cut and he says, "I cut hundreds of people's hair. How am I suppose to remember what I did with you.". This is where things went SOUTH fast. His first comment out of his mouth after telling him that I wanted my hair parted on the top (both sides) was "Wow, you are really making me work"...I told him that if I wanted a $10 barbershop buzz cut like his I would go to a barber shop. I paid $31.50 plus $8.50 tip for a men's cut and no wash before or after my cut. Worst experience in a salon in my 30 years of life. Bryan was very confrontational and not willing to go the extra mile to make my experience at the very least satisfactory. I understand that we all have bad days but when I called back on Thursday to ask if he could fix up a section of hair that he missed cutting he said "can you be here in 15 minutes?" sure made it there in time. I thought that his attitude would be better and would be willing to fix his mistake. When I pointed out the section that was not cut, he went back on the defensive and started blaming me. Saying that we did a totally different hair cut the first time...how in 3 days he can remember my original cut? when 3 days earlier he says that he cuts 100's of peoples hair. The section he missed was over 1/2 inch longer and he is telling me that he can't even notice it and he thinks the haircut looks great. For anyone that is conscious about their hair I WOULD NOT TRUST BRYAN to come near you with a ten foot pole, especially if you are looking for a new hairstylist. His attitude is poor, his listening skills are non-existent, he is very hostile, and honestly it's like he has given up on a profession that maybe once he was very excited about. Try anyone else but BRYAN at Eclipps. But me personally I'm done with the place BRYAN can have my $40.00 and get his own next four haircuts on me at a barbershop.

Absolutely THE BEST hair salon in the lower mainland!!! I came in a month ago looking for a new fresh look and was booked with an amazingly talented hair stylist and expert hair colorist named Tenzin! He was attentive and listened very well to my thoughts and ideas of what I wanted my new look to be. I didn't bring in pictures or specific styles yet he was able to understand what I wanted and also lend his expertise in a professional manner that made me feel heard as a customer. I've seen him twice now and he brings a very fun and relaxed atmosphere to each appointment. He is super efficient and works in a timely manner. I always leave extremely happy and satisfied with my new look. The salon itself is extremely clean and clearly follow all COVID standards with sanitizing and cleaning. The staff work as a team and share laughs and compliments with each other like a one big happy family. The prices are more than reasonable and I never feel pressured to buy products by Tenzin or any other staff member. If your looking for an affordable and knowledgeable salon where your valued and leave satisfied then you HAVE TO come to Eclipps Hair Cafe nad Ask for Tenzin. I promise you will never regret it!!

The entire staff was warm, welcoming and sincerely friendly. I wanted a change and Andrea listened to my concerns regarding getting a chic cut and colour that would suit me. I LOVE the colour and I LOVE the cut! I will definitely go back again and I highly recommend Andrea!

I only ever really get a haircut once a year because my hair is thankfully straight and easy to maintain so I am comfortable with the "steep" price they charge. My first experience was 3 years ago with one of their hairstylists who I unfortunately forgot the name of but she was wonderful, I've since started going to Chie and she is very pleasant and listens to what I like but also weighing in and giving me feeeback on whether it will work or not. Definitely a place I will keep coming back to, and hopefully they'll again have their free coffees once I can start having caffeine again.

Not a happy customer. I called first thing this morning to book an appointment was told yes 3pm I was cutting it close to my evening plans but said yes! The lady said there were 2 stylist I didn’t know either so left it to her. Then... show up for my appointment to be told I was not booked. She asked again for my name said the girl that helped me filled out half the form but did not finish or book my appointment. Not cool no time to go elsewhere and the lady’s suggestion was I could come in tomorrow??? Not yes we will get you in not bumping the person that booked AFTER ME but sorry! Well that’s just not cool and not good business practice. The point of booking appointments is to have services given at the time you booked. I am home now having my daughter do my hair for tonight!!! Yup no hair cut just styled. Sorry doesn’t always cut it very disappointed.
