Had a wonderful first experience with Charm & Champagne today! After having a number of negative experiences with another salon, I decided to try this newish salon in downtown New West. Bryson took me as a walk-in and gave me an amazing cut in the 45 minutes he had free between appointments. He’s a master at his craft and I really enjoyed talking to him. The salon staff is super friendly and the salon itself is bright, airy and welcoming. On top of that, this is one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had! I would definitely recommend Bryson and Charm & Champagne and I look forward to my next visit!

This place is absolutely fantastic. The studio itself is gorgeous, but more importantly they do an awesome job with hair. I have super thick and difficult hair and Kris the owner is wonderful and very very talented. They are also an Aveda studio which is great because it's hard to find Aveda product in the area.

The salon is absolutely gorgeous! I had a gel manicure with art done by Sue Roberts and she did a fantastic job! They also offer drinks & snacks and the whole salon is so professional and inviting. I will be back to make a hair appointment as well!

I recommend everyone to see Chris and her staff at Charm & Champagne Beauty Studio. They are very qualified and provide some of the best service I've experienced at a salon. The staff really listen to what YOU want for your hair. But they are also not afraid of being honest with you if the hairstyle/colour might not be the best option and provide other suggestions. They recently did the hair and makeup at my wedding - everyone looked so beautiful! One of my bridesmaid's loved her hair and makeup so much she now has booked Charm & Champagne for her own wedding this year!

Chris is great! Very friendly, professional and skilled. As a practical guy with a pretty basic hairstyle I could never see the point of paying more than $25 for a haircut, but after my girlfriend convinced me to try Chris I am more than willing to pay the additional price. And I now find that I wind up spending around the same amount anyways as my hair grows out better so I don't need to go as frequently as I used to with a standard barber. Highly recommended.

I met Chris a year ago when I moved to New West. I have been getting my hair done at Aveda for a good 15 years and every time that I move, the stress is to find 1) an Aveda salon and 2) someone who can actually cut curly hair (I have very curly hair). Chris is the owner and is a true artist. She cares, she takes her time, she is mindful and she will tell me no if she doesn’t think a cut or colour will look good on me. I respect that a lot! I laugh because last time I walked towards the salon, Chris came in and said she was looking at me cross the street and said no, we are not straightening it and not cutting short. It made me laugh a lot. She cares, she really does. What I love is that Chris also cares about the planet and it shoes in the fact that she offers drinks in glass with the cutest glass straw (that was my first appointment). Her back wall is covered in plants (and the new addition spa on the second floor as well and is an art of its own). They are real plants (take goodness - I still do not understand people who have fake plants that just accumulate dust and do nothing for anyone. Never mind the plastic!) After my first appointment, I was really touched to received a hand-written note by Chris, thanking me as a new client. Chris really takes care of personalizing and the detail is very much appreciated. Her entire team is really lovely to be honest. I really enjoy every visit (I have been 4 times so far in this year). At first, I wanted to add colour (highlights - I have dark brown curly hair) and have been adding blond highlights (all with Aveda over the years). Chris told me no, let’s wait and give your hair a break and for my curls to be more defined like they were. I waited 8 months and we had a 5 hour sessions where Chris painted carefully what she wanted to get coloured! We also took really col pictures after and I felt like a star, hehe. I strongly recommend Chris and her team. I can’t wait to try the spa upstairs and get my mani, pedi, and everything else. Thank you Chris and all the Charm and Champagne team. Much love xox

I trust Bryson selflessly and without fear. He knows how to color my hair perfectly. I have personally witnessed, and experienced, his uncanny skill for performing perfect 10/10 colors and cuts for people who come in with literally no idea what they want (seriously, go in there with some idea of what you want, though. Be nice.) Also everyone else there is super charming, and there's a very pleasant atmosphere.

I walked by this place a few times and thought it was super cute inside. I decided to pop in today and book an appointment but it turned out they had time to cut my hair pretty much right away. It's a really chic salon and I loved the layout of it. All of the employees were super friendly and I really liked my hair dresser (Kyla) she was super nice and she did a really good job on my hair. They gave out valentines snacks while people were getting their hair done and I was also offered tea/coffee. I don't get my hair cut often but I will definitely be back the next time that I do. The price was very fair. I paid 49$ plus tip for a wash, cut and style.

I've made an appointment with Charm and Champagne because their Instagram profile was very appealing and because I wanted a balayage. When I arrived, the hairdresser told me that he understood I wanted a blow and dry and that he didn't have time for the balayage. I understand that there was a miscommunication issue, and that can happen, we are all humans!! But I left the place and I was not offered any kind of compensation, rescheduling or anything that could solve the situation. Why would you let a customer walk out just like that? Very unprofessional! The place looked great, very clean, spacious and bright.

This is a lovely salon! It was my first time and I was really impressed - lots of little bonuses like coffee with baileys and cookies while you wait! My stylist Hailey was excellent and listened to what I wanted while still guiding/making suggestions based on her expertise. I dont get my hair colored at salons very often and this was special treat I was looking for!

I came in as a walk in and luckily there was a cancellation. I decided last minute to get my hair done for my friends wedding. I was one of the bridesmaid and was trying to do my hair by myself and it ended up being a complete mess. Kyla did an amazing job with my hair. I went from black to beautiful caramel and blondes without any breakage. My hair doesn’t feel damaged, but surprisingly soft even after all that bleaching. (Must be the products they use?) The customer service has always been top notch and the space has a spa-like feel to it making everything such a pleasant experience. Thank you everyone!
