Quick, clean and affordable. I like the cut, and more importantly my lady does too. Will be back again. Edit: After a few return trips, I've unfortunately decide to lower my star rating to a three. My last three haircuts since my first were not done by the original barber that cut my hair (the owner). The return trips were all done by two very lovely ladies that unfortunately did not know how to cut men's hair. I don't mean to be rude, but I genuinely can give myself better haircuts. The owner is a great old school barber, but he needs to hire some more experienced and better staff. I was excited to be a long time customer, as I was a 10 year customer to my previous barber. But I've since changed barber and not regretted it. Sincerely hope your business does well and you hire some more experienced barbers.

Not the worst I've had, not the best. No waiting which is a plus. Lots of tropical birds inside so it sounds cool when you are in there. Prices are great, can't beat $15 for a cut.

Well, on the upside, it is cheap. However, you get what you pay for, so do not expect a quality cut. The lady that works there is totally clueless, and should probably find another way to make a living. She'll tell you that she knows what you want, even when it's that exact opposite of what you've asked for.

So i moved from Ontario to New Westminster and had to find a barber that would cut my hair to my liking and i am an EXTREMELY picky person. The first time i went there, i was greeted by a lady by the name of Sarah, tbh i was hesitant but i sucked it up and got my haircut. I had a simple 1.5 on the side blended up and shortened the top and clean up my sideburns and i kid you not, it was the BEST simple haircut i have received since moving to BC and it was very reasonably priced ! She was very friendly and down to earth. It was so good that i decided to go back for my next haircut. So, i go back for my next haircut but this time a young guy by the name of Diako was there. Very chill and relaxed guy and looking at his haircut, i was hoping he cut his own hair cause it looked great! He took the time to ask me how i wanted to get my hair cut and it seemed like the guy was very knowledgable.this time I got a skin fade and shortened up top as well. He did a FANTASTIC job with that but what really blew me out the water was how he cleaned up my beard. i NEVER let anyone touch my beard. But he worked his magic and faded my beard to the fade on the side and lined it up to the sideburn with straight edge blade and i kid you not, he was just as good if not BETTER then any barber i went to back home in Toronto. Along side the perfect haircut, we had great conversations. Definitely recommend this place for its barber and prices !!

The price was good: $14 for a man's haircut. I arrived at the right time and sat down immediately. The staff were friendly. She had good suggestions but gave me exactly what I wanted and quickly. I was there for about 15 minutes. I would go again.

Got a haircut for a decent price, but the haircut the lady gave me was a bit wonky and uneven. She even buzzed off part of my eyebrow by accident. How does a barber make a mistake like this?

I said not too short. I explained exactly how I wanted my hair cut and said the length to ensure it's not too short. Despite this she cut it way too short, cutting it the way she wanted rather than what I wanted. She took way too much off the sides and left too much on the top. I ended up looking goofy and wearing hat for weeks while my hair grew out, and had to get a follow up hair cut to make it look normal again. This happened not just once but twice now. I've been going to this place for years and not sure if I want to go back now anymore.

The service was great. There are no long waiting times, and even if it should take longer, there is a big flat screen and some newspapers to occupy you. The prices are cheap to reasonable. The woman that cut my hair informed herself of my wishes and offered some of her own advice for bangs, coloring, etc. She was very friendly, as seemed the co-workers and the customers all left with a smile on their face. I know I'll keep going there

I’ve only known Diako for about a couple months now but I have nothing other than good things to say about him and his profession. From cutting the hair to customer service, he surpassed all my expectations while having a low price. Anything from skin fades to Afro’s, Diako executes with consisten precision. I can truthfully say I’ve never walked out of the shop and been even somewhat close to disappointed. If you live in New West or anywhere in the area, I do not suggest anyone but Diako.

I wear glasses and can't see the mirror during a haircut so i try to be real specific beforehand with a picture. Asked for a fade, a normal part and to keep the top long. Ended up with a crooked haircut that pulls to the right. The natural part was moved from its natural spot, hairs were left sticking out on the short side that cannot be put down with gel. My sideburns are not equal either now. I will have to FIX everything as it was a terrible cut. These hair salons are only in it for the money.....that's it!

You need to make sure that you know the prices before you go to her. She charged me double of what she charges everyone because it was my first time. I told her that I am a student even then she didn’t give me a discount. I asked my friends later and they confirmed the same. $10 for eyebrows and $10 for underarms. Its not even the regular price. Good job at cheating people.

I found the crew kind, humble, very accomodative to requests with continued high quality service. Also the cost is reasonable comparing with the other close barber shops. This was definitely the best haircut I got in new west area. The lady carefully listened to the specific order, was detail-oriented during the haircut, and engaged me in the haircut process by questions and confirmation. I got the best cut in my side, she starts with a short cut at the bottom of the sides and gradually increases the length so that there is a very natural, good looking, and professional gradient. Other places usually just use one number and do the whole side in one go to get it done as fast as possible. The price is extremely reasonable and definitely the best quality to cost ratio I've got so far.
