Just moved to Saint John a few weeks ago, had to choose from many barbers! This classic looking barber shop had awesome music projecting into the old lancaster downtown area each time I passed by. I booked the appointment online a day prior, due to Covid-19 restrictions. The Barber 'Blaine' had his Covid certified certificate proudly displayed among many neat little barbershop artifacts. Blaine was great! Did a great job in a short amount of time, and I'm a bit picky with the doo. Will be returning again!

I have been to this place 3 times now. Blaine is a very pleasant person. He knows his job very well. I didn't have to explain much on how I wanted my haircut. After he understood what I need, he quickly gave me the haircut. Very fast and timely. Plus, got to see alot of Boston Bruins in his shop.

I wish I could rate this business with zero stars. I had confermed an appointment for a haircut as it says on the barbershop website. When I got there prior to my appointment, the guy was inside the shop with the blinds down with another client. I rang the billbottn and knocked on the door so I only got answered by 2 big dogs barking at me. I waited on the door for over 10 minutes while ringing the bill until one client came out and told me the barber is inside and he is done for the day!!! I tried to hold the door and tell him how bad what he has done and how he made me feel like 2nd class customer, but he did not have the dignity of opening the door and talk. ????????????

Worst hair cut ever! Went there one rainy day for a haircut, nobody else in the shop for hours. This guy butchers my hair and makes it 2" longer on one side, he also gave me a shave and I noticed when I got home there were patches all over my neck and the back of my head had a 30 degree angle on the hair line! Now I go to majestany and get free haircuts by attractive girls who know how to give a good haircut.

My boyfriend made several attempts to get in with various barbers around the city but had no luck... we stumbled across this gem and finally had luck right away. With less than 40 minutes left on the clock he accommodated for my boyfriend and gave him the best haircut ever! Great service, amazing prices and quality work. We will definitely be back!

Best place in town to get a men's haircut in my opinion. Very friendly and service is excellent. For only $6, I was a bit sceptical at first, but so far, it is better than all the other expensive places I've been to. I used to go to First Choice and Hairacy's and pay $15-25 for the same haircut that is mediocre at best.

Went there today, had a younger kid cut my hair (not the Blaine guy people are mentioning in these other comments) and it was an absolutely terrible job. Pleasant enough kid but his skills are absolutely terrible. I should note, I saw the barber licenses for the owner and his wife, but there was none posted for this guy. I thought it was a tad odd at the time and I guess now I know why. $8 is a cheap haircut so I guess I got what I paid for. Lesson learned. Just don't go out here if you intend on wearing your new haircut in public without a hat. It will definitely need to be covered.
