From the moment I walked through the beautiful wrought iron gate into the garden entrance I knew that this was no ordinary backyard salon. The grounds are professionally landscaped with a Japanese theme and I could picture myself sipping green tea in the sun on the patio while awaiting my appointment. As I entered the salon I took note of the stylish design and warm ambience. I could feel a level of professionalism that is hard to find in other Nanaimo salons. My appointment was with Kathy the salon owner and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that she has been styling hair for over 25 years! I was impressed to learn that she had travelled internationally where she taught stylists from all over the world the latest colour and cutting techniques. I found Kathy to be warm and easy to talk to but more importantly I found her to be a great listener. I have some challenges with my hair as it wasn’t in the best of condition and I was concerned that adding any more colour to my hair would only add to my troubles. After my initial consultation where we spoke about my lifestyle and what kind of style worked for me and my busy schedule, Kathy took the time to explain to me what she thought would be the best colour and cut for me and how the colour products used at Studio Vogue are not damaging to the hair. In fact some of their products even help restore your hair! Kathy did not disappoint! I felt like a new person when I left the salon. Not only did I leave the salon with a brand new look I left with a new level of self-confidence. Overall I had one of the most enjoyable salon experiences of my life and I am looking forward to returning for my next appointment. Thank you Studio Vogue!

I got my hair transformed and I am so in love with the result! Ry took the time today (6 hours) to work her beautiful magic on my hair and she did not disappoint at all! She did a fantastic job and I would recommend her to anyone wanting to try out this salon. Xposé is bright and beautiful. I had such a pleasant experience today, probably my best experience from any salon. I was so impressed with the extra measures of cleanliness and time put in to maintain protocol during the pandemic. What a wonderful morning! I am so happy with my highlight and lowlight colour and cut, I’ve had many compliments so far, Kristie (feeling great) and I’m only 6 hours into my new look! My daughter’s appointment, with Rachelle, didn’t quite meet her expectations, definitely not from the lack of trying from the stylist. Close, so very close and to my surprise, my daughter was charged for only the hair cut! Really! Wow!! The salon was beautiful, clean and inviting. Monday most salons are closed. Ladies if you need a beauty service, this is the place to go. See you two, soon!

This was my first appointment at the salon after being recommended to the owner Rachelle, and had a truly special experience. I am new(ish) to being blonde and actually maintaining the colour and know little to nothing about how to properly take care of my hair. Rachelle took the time to explain each of the products she uses and why, suggested what was best for my style and type of hair, and didn't push anything specific on me to make the sale. It was purely educating me on what she likes to use and why. She showed me along the way why she was doing certain things to my hair in terms of the cut and colour so I understood the method and the process which has never been done with me in my many years of getting my hair colored. I have been looking for a new stylist to build a relationship with, who understands my hair and my lifestyle, and am truly happy with the service that Rachelle provided. I felt like we were life long friends and can't wait for the next appointment on my hair journey!

Ryanne cut my sons hair, I couldn't be happier with the job she did especially with it being covid and kids having to wear masks. Anywhere I've taken him I've always had to fix his haircut until Xposé Salon ! Thankyou so much for the piece of mind and wonderful work. We are coming back in March for another cut!

Zoë did an amazing job on giving me a beautiful blonde baylayage. My hair is not the easiest to make a blonde (it pulls tons of gold tones). She listened carefully to what I wanted and worked amazingly with my natural curls to cut it in a way that would work well for me at home. I highly recommend visiting her at xpose. She's definitely one of the best at blondes in Nanaimo ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I think it is absolutely appalling that a salon thinks it's acceptable to cancel someone's appointment an HOUR before it's supposed to take place. If your previous appointment runs late, then I can MAYBE understand asking your next appointment to wait an extra hour but to completely cancel that appointment for the day and then say "i have to be out of here at 5" is extremely unprofessional. If you made the mistake of overbooking then you should make it right for your client and stay an extra freaking 15 min.

Xpose salon is a dream to go to. I go to Rachelle and she is absolutely amazing! She’s so friendly and you always have a good laugh when you’re there. Music is great and the salon is so beautifully decorated. A very relaxing and chill salon. All of the stylists I’ve met are so nice and very friendly! Highly recommend this salon!

From the second I walked through the doors I was impressed with the cleanliness and professionalism of the lounge. The atmosphere and aesthetic was really great. I got my hair done with Ry. At first I was a little apprehensive about how the colour turned out as I had went in looking to get a bright coppery colour and when my hair was done, it came out a deeper of a red but honestly as it turns out, I LOVE IT sooo much more!! The colour suits me perfectly which I would have never thought, I have already gotten many compliments on my hair and its only been a half day! I am extremely happy with how it ended up turning out. Not only did she end up nailing the perfect red shade for me, my hair is also the softest and shiniest its ever been. The whole process was great. She also gave me bangs which I haven't had in years and I am obsessed with them. So thank you Ry!!

I went there to get my hair done and they were absolutely amazing! I have super long and thick hair - it definitely took time and both Megan and Richelle both super professional, didn't rush the process and even stayed way beyond closing time to make sure that best job was done and I left happy! Laura is a fantastic and professional stylist. I have dark Asian hair which has been dyed blond and she managed to colour my entire head of hair (roots are dark) a lovely ash/mushroom. And my hair feels fabulous to boot, no dryness here! She really knows her stuff! A++

My wife recently had an appointment with Rachel, very nice and friendly when we first arrived. My wife tried to explain how she would like her hair done and they started to get to work on it, but Rachel literally stopped every two minutes to text on her phone. My wife finally said after 45 min that she is most unprofessional and that she would not return again, and to please just finish her already (it was only a trim and being styled). Rachel become very rude and said we can just leave, without even finishing her hair. She demanded we still pay for her rude unfinished service. It's unbelievable that this place is in business.

This salon does not care about customer satisfaction or loyal clients. Having recently paid $249 to get my hair cut/coloured, I left the salon completely dissatisfied with the colour. Despite constant texts, calls & an in-person visit, the owners are unwilling to rectify the situation unless I pay again. Owner Rachelle is most unprofessional. Not acceptable. Don't go there!
