Chameleon Hair is the absolute best hair salon in Nanaimo. They have excellent staff who really know their way around cuts and styles for women, men, and children, and their prices are very reasonable. I have been going there since 2005 and I have never had a bad experience. I highly recommend Chameleon!

I've been going to Chameleon for 8 years now. I've always loved the people and warm atmosphere. Gord is an amazingly talented hair dresser. For the last three years we have been playing with a lot of bright and deep colours such as red and purple. He's helped teach me how to maintain my colour really well. As well I have received MANY hair tattoos by Gord. If you've been looking for a hair tattoos artist, he's your guy! Extremely well rounded in his craft. Because of Gord, I always feel both edgy and beautiful.

This place is amazing and they are a green salon. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and very much professional. Sandra the owner is a beautiful, personable young lady who is beyond talented. Gord, if you want some fun undercut design, he is the guy to see. This salon just doesn't go ahead and color your hair, it stops and does a complete consult ahead of time making sure the colorist knows what look you are wanting to achieve, the staff also takes the time to explain if any harsh coloring is to be done what kind of damage is to be expected. So professional.
