I’ve tried a couple of salons in Streetsville now, and I’m finally happy here. The owner cut my hair. She did a great job, didn’t try to sell me a bunch of products I don’t need, and was easy to chat with. This is the place to go.

This was the hair cut I left the salon with. Apparently this was the best cut I can get at this salon. I had asked for a gradual layered cut. My hair was dry and had split ends but it was long enough for the cut I requested. This was the end result. The last time I came was 6 years ago and now I remember why. Extremely, extremely disappointed. $83.74 for this cut + tips.

I have been going to Salon Bardot for many years now. The service at this salon is impeccable! Asma takes her time in all aspects of hair design. She ensures that colour does not stain the face/neck and she washed out all product from the hair afterwards. Her service pays attention to detail and the products are great for hair health. I always look forward to my visits at Salon Bardot.

I've been getting my haircut by Asma for almost 6 years now. She's been the most consistent person I've ever been too so I'm ecstatic that she owns Salon Bardot now! Go there for A+ customer service and the best haircut in town.

I've been a customer of Salon Bardot for over 10 years. The staff is super friendly, and they have taken great care of my family's hair. My daughter and I are regular clients, and my mother in law and sister in law also came here when they were in town. I love that Asma will tell me what will and what will not work on my hair, even if it means recommending I don't do extra services like highlights on my brittle hair. Great integrity! I've always found the whole team to be super accommodating- they have always managed to fit me in somewhere or another. I was also *really* grateful for the custom colour kits that were available for curbside pickup so we could do our own hair during the pandemic when salons were closed. That saved me! Overall, I'm a loyal customer, I feel like they treat everyone like they matter, and I would highly recommend this salon to others.

Have been here 2 times now and I can declare that this is my go-to salon now! The first visit Ying did my hair blonde as I always do and it came out beautifully! This recent visit I decided to do something drastic and dyed my hair to my natural colour - light brown. Ying did not disappoint! The full process from emailing to book, to being greeted, to the finished product, including recommending products to keep my colour looking perfect at home was flawless. Thank you to Z and Ying for the outstanding service, wonderful experience and for allowing me to put my trust in you. You did not disappoint. I will recommend this salon to friends and family looking for a cut, colour or highlights! Before (blonde) and after (light brown) are here for reference. :)

Long time customer. My last appointment was horrible. It was quite clear I was a huge inconvenience and not a welcome customer. Came in to have my roots coloured. BIG MISTAKE. When she was done....my hair was orange ???? and looked completely destroyed. She knew she had screwed up but DID NOT ONCE APOLOGIZE. All she said was”come back Saturday and I’ll add some highlights”. Nope! Never to return. RESPONSE TO OWNER Thank you for your response. I didn't even think to post a review until I received an email from the Salon suggesting to post a review with Google. I posted a photo of my hair - I was not going from dark to light....my hair had been blonde for some time. I was only getting my roots done. Unfortunately becasue I had an engagement the next day I had to cover the orange that night. As far as not charging me, I wasn't told I wouldn't be charged. I was told I would be charged on Saturday when the "highlights" would be applied to help "blend" the colours.

Very nice Aveda salon. I got an appointment for a color touch up on very short notice. The color was great. The stylist was very good. The price was very reasonable. The location is very good too! There are lots of salons in Streetsville so I picked this one because I like Aveda products and I think the stylists a well trained. After the salon there are lots of cafés and restaurants around so it’s a great way to spend the afternoon.

I felt absolutely pampered when I had my hair done at Salon Bardot just recently. I love Aveda products as other products are scented with perfumes but these are scented with essential oils! My hair is very long and was very much in need of a good shaping. Asma didn’t disappoint! I can’t wait to get my hair done by her again and I would highly recommend her salon!

Finally a hairstylist that was quick but the cut was amazing. I came in with extremely long, unstyled COVID hair and the cut was mid length with proper layering. It usually takes people 2 hours plus to do my hair but this was way faster and better. On top of that she didn't talk my ear off, I genuinely appreciate quiet time especially when getting my hair done. They were really nice people though. Great experience. Definitely will come back.

I always get a great colour and haircut at Salon Bardot! I have a really busy life and they always work to accommodate my schedule and they are always on time!! The space is welcoming and enjoyable to be in, and the staff treat everyone exceptionally well! I called to book an appointment for highlights and a cut about 2.5 weeks ago. They confirmed they had an opening on July 22nd at 4pm. Loving Aveda products, I confirmed they exclusively use them which she confirmed they were a concept salon. When I showed up on the day of my appointment, I paid for parking for my 3 hour appointment then entered the salon. I told them my name and that I was there for my appointment. The two young girls at the front desk advised me that they had no such appointment for me. After driving 40km to the salon I was in shock. They spoke to the manager who then came up front. She told me it must’ve been a mistake and asked me to come back tomorrow afternoon instead… didn’t offer to validate my parking or offer a discount for THEIR mistake, instead offered me to drive 40km home without getting my hair done and drive another 80km the next day. No I’m sorry, I work and took time off to go in that day. It’s not that easy. So unprofessional. I will definitely not be going back.

Had my roots done and a hair cut. They left hair dye all over my forehead and hairline, which is not coming off since it's been left so long. How unprofessional! If I wanted it to look like a home job I would not be paying a "stylist" (an extremely expensive) one to mess it up. Plus they do what they want for the haircut not what you ask! I'm never gong back.

This was my first time at this salon. I had an updo appointment booked with Ying and was told she was a senior stylist. Although the staff was very friendly my hair was an absolute disaster! The curls looked as though I had slept on them for many nights and Ying burned my forehead with the curling iron! I would NOT suggest coming to this salon for an updo!! With the regards to the response from the owner, I sincerely appreciate your reply. As per your response, you intend to make things right. Please let me know how you would like to go about remedying my experience at your salon because I am not sure of how to contact you directly. Sadly, my forehead is still burnt! Thank you for your time.

I'm a fair person. The lady was nice and had a smile on, but she seemed like she was rushing me out. I've been here couple of times prior to my third time. I do have normal salon I go to and I wasn't able to get a cut quicker sooner than I wanted. This will be the last time getting my hair cut there. I've asked for lots of layers. When it was all done it looked like a straight cut to me. So that was the cut. Now the wash..I got water sprayed on my eye which I'm okay with. It happens. But she wiped my eye with her apron. Which was very unsanitary from a customer's perspective. how do I know if shes wiped on other people?the last one was what made me wanted to write a review. She wiped the bottom of her shoes with the towel that was used for to dry my hair. It wasn't used again on me, but it makes me question their sanitary standards. In response to your reply. It is very sad that you have denied what had happened to the customer. I have never in my life wrote a bad review for anyone. But it is because what happened I had to write it. To say that a customer is lying is not ok. Plus if read in my review. I did not in any way had a tone of that the person "maliciously" did what she did. I simply stated what actions happened. And you did not understand my concern. The towel that was used to wipe the shoes was not ok to do . Yes I understand it will be washed, but as a customer I do not want to know the towel used to dry my hair or whatever, was used to wipe the bottom of the shoes. Even if you are doctors, etc as you say they are. It does not mean they follow the health and safety standards. For the camera. It is only words coming from you. And as for the apron, it is the apron that the stylist wears when they have clients. I do not understand what apron you are referring to where you have to climb up to get it. Almost any hair salon I go to wears an apron where they can put tools. Lastly , why do you need to remind your staff if you know that didn't happen. It is because you know certain staff aren't holding up the health standards.

Always love getting my hair cut here. Ying does my hair most of the time however I did get it done once by someone else and was very pleased. They know how to keep your length. Very happy with the service here.

When it comes to your hair, this place is to die for. Asma has been doing my hair for almost 10 years now. Ying has also contrubited to the gorgeous red locks on my head. I highly reccomend going here if you still haven't found the 'one' for you hair. They listen to what you want, and also take care of you and your hair. I have been wanting to go blonde for a very long time, but because I have been red for 7+ years, they will not drastically change my hair because there would be too much damage, leaving me with most likley a bob...and no one wants one of those. I trust them and vaule their oppinion, it took my years to find someone who actually cared for my hair and who can tell me no. There are too many commercialized salons that just want a fatter pay out at the expense of your hair. Leaving it damaged, where your only choice is to chop to fix. When you go here, i guarantee you will walk out with more confidence then you did walking in.

I got to the salon on time this morning to only find out that my appt was booked for only a cut and blow dry when I requested for colour too. I got my hair colour done by the stylist but she didn't have time to give me layers on the back.... Then proceeded to question another staff member as to what went wrong with the booking, that to me that was completely unprofessional and no accountability was taken... What makes me upset was I left my original hair salon due to the fact that my hair dresser is on mat leave. I discussed with the stylist three weeks ago in a consultation that I wanted layers in the back as well as colour. Unfortunately today I felt like I wasn't valued as a new prospect client at all I felt like I was rushed out and my hair is still slightly damp after getting it "blow dried" i had real high hopes for this place. I won't be returning.

First off, this Salon has a good reputation and overall there are alot of good experiences and reviews here. But lets be honest, there has been some bad reviews as well. What I am disappointed in is the fact the owner argues and disagrees with a " Customer" review based off of their visit. The fact you are denying that somebody experienced a bad experience after coming to your salon several times before, shows that you really don't care that much how your customer feels. If you did, you would not have handled it that way. The fact that you say you reviewed the cameras for something without even knowing who the person writing the review is, shows that you're just trying to protect your business. Where you went wrong is calling a customer a liar.Never call a customer a liar..!! Especially on a review so everyone can see it publicly. That's poor business management. You weren't there when she was, and coming from someone in a Managment position, I would suggest handling a bad review in better way/tone. I gaurentee you didn't review the cameras because she didn't even mention when she was there. The fact you state that your staff are doctors and nurses and know everything about health is just ridiculous. Accept the bad review and try and make up for it, instead of fabricating a story and trying to redeem the bad experience. "CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT" as a business owner. It's different if this was the same person writing multiple bad reviews. Reading the fabricated argument and not even acknowledging the customer having a bad experience has totally turned me away from your business. I honestly cannot believe you would spend that much time on a review to argue with a customer.
