Very disappointing. My hair is severely damaged. I had colour done and made sure olaplex was used but it wasn’t. The brittle dead hair is the proof. I had to buy my own colour and toner to fix it myself. It pains me to talk about my cut because it brings me to tears having to see so many different lengths all over my head of what is supposed to be a textured cut. My hair was actually better walking into the salon than going out. It’s going to take a while until it all grows back. And to top it off I had to wait almost 2 hours from my scheduled appointment time as they let people go ahead that came in after me. Not to mention I was there for nearly 6 hours once I was seen. NEVER AGAIN. Note: I did go back for my hair to be rectified yet it was not.

I just recently had my hair dyed and a cut, and I had the pleasure of Mila working on my hair is she is so sweet and friendly and very professional and honest. I wanted to do a baylage but my hair was damaged so she too the time to explain to me - ways I could still get what I want and make my hair healthier- I was so happy and very ecstatic about the service. I love my hair and I'm so glad i had Mila work on my hair. She is seriously AN AMAZING HAIR COLORIST AND STYLIST. I will never go back. It's an extremely dirty salon and staff are very unprofessional. I had an prearranged appointment with a stylist but when I showed up (and after my hair was already wet from the wash) the stylist told me he that doesn't cut short hair. ?!? What professional stylist doesn't cut every length and hair type? Was told that "that guy will have to cut your hair" and was put in a chair waiting for a different stylist to eventually show up. Very much a Mickey Mouse operation. If you value how you look and the money you earn, do not go to Joseph's Coiffures at Erin Mills Town Centre.

Firstly, i loved the haircut she gave me. She totally gave me perfect layers that I wanted. Only disappointment she was really rough while brushing my hair most times. I m not sure if it was the length of my hair but I did literally feel the pain and it was pulling. :-/ Nonetheless my hair looked great after the cut and thats the only reason I tipped and not crib!

Poor experience - the stylist kept going to the reception every 30 seconds, felt like a rush job - water flowing down my back and cut hair all over - had to shower when I came back home, poor hygiene, and uneven haircut - will be visiting another salon to fix it up. I came in yesterday and was happy with the end results. I heard positive things about this hair salon from a friend so I decided to come in for a haircut & style. I also ended up doing a hair mask since my hair is dry and it left my hair feeling soft. My hair was medium length when I walked in. It is also curly and thick. The hair stylist who did my hair instantly understood what I wanted without having to show her all the pictures I had saved on my phone. I paid $95 total ($75 cut and blow dry and $20 for treatment). I felt like the price was fair considering the texture of my hair and because this salon is located inside Erin Mills Mall. I plan on booking an appointment for some highlights soon and I am excited to go back for a second time. All the hair stylist and people working there seem very hard working and professional. I will update my review when I go in again!

I got a cut, blow out and colour yesterday from Joe himself. I felt like i was an entirely different person when i left there. My cut and colour turned out to be great. It was more than perfect. I have been wanting curtain bangs for what feels like a year now, but I haven't had the guts to get them. I poked my head into Joseph's Salon as I walked by to see if I could get a trim and the next thing I know I'm getting my hair washed! I was unsure of how short I wanted the curtain bangs, but luckily Erika was so accommodating - she cut them long, and then shorter in little segments as I asked. She also gave my hair a perfect trim, as I asked, not 4 inches (that has happened before - I cried lol). I'm so so happy with the results, and I couldn't have gotten a better person to cut my hair. I'm sooo happy!! Thank you Erika!! If you're reading reviews, and debating on whether or not to get curtain bangs, DO ITTT!!! Hair grows back. You know what doesn't come back? Time. So go and get them curtain bangs you've been thinking about/wanting for months. :) (My hair isn't styled in the photos I added)

I have been a client of Joseph's for the past two years now.....when I came to Joe, I had black hair from using boxed hair dye for 3 years. I wanted to go Britney Spears blonde lol and within six months I was a blonde bombshell! Joseph and his staff care about you and your hair and most importantly they love what they do! I have been to other salons even in Erin Mills town center where they overcharged, left me with orangey, pineapple yellow roots and quoted one price during the consultation and then charged triple the amount. Joseph and his staff are honest and hard working..... they always strive to make sure you leave their salon looking and feeling beautiful and loving your new hair! They go out of their way to make you feel fabulous and work with your budget because hey being a blonde is a lot of work and money! Lol. They maintain the health of your hair and meeting your hair and style expectations. After recently being nudged by a friend to go with her to visit another salon for my root touch up, I left with a trim I didn't want, orange roots, hair extensions that did not match my shorter length and color and the service was poor and completely motivated by taking my money and not giving me what I paid for! Unlike the care, attention and quality like you will get and see with Joseph and his staff. Joe had to correct the mistakes done on my hair and he was able to tone my roots and extensions to the same shade as the rest of my hair without having to charge me $400.00! Joe puts his heart into what he does and I would without a doubt recommend him and his salon to anyone looking to have glamourous and fabulous hair. What you are quoted is what you will pay and what you ask for is what you will get and then some! Joseph is the BEST!

I'm a hairstylist/apprentice and was in a pinch to get a quick blow dry for my mothers day event so I poped in here on my way home. Joseph clearly cares about both his clientele and his team, my first shampoo wasnt thorough enough as I have very oily hair and hadnt washed it for 3 days so they actually took the time to redo the shampoo. If youre in the erin mills area Id definately suggest this salon for your hair care needs, they have a great atmosphere, cleanly salon and caring stylists. My hair felt amazing when I left and I felt super refreshed, I'll definately be back on my lazy days!

I asked for a haircut with layers to define my face and I found out that he cut my hair on the back of my head shorter than my banks. I am still in shock. sorry ... I wanted to have a haircut without blow-dry hairstyling and I lost 40 cm of hair length. We talked about 5 cm. No recommendation for that salon. The hygiene is very very poor there. Hair all over the place. hasn't been cleaned for weeks.

Kinda was very kind. She however was doing everything in a hurry. Also by doing so, she was pulling on my hair bery hard and wasnt paying attention. She cut her finger too. We asked the girl at the front desk if they cut children's hair we were told yes, with reasonable prices. I advised of my children's ages and was told they would be able to accommodate us in 10 minutes. After more than 10 minutes passed one stylist took my eldest daughter in shampooed her hair then had her stand up for the entire cut. My second daughter had to sit on a wobbly red board and her hair was not washed or sprayed with water just cut and still cost $25. Then they had us waiting around for someone to cut my son's hair and the stylist who cut my eldest daughter's hair said they are busy and plus my son is crying so better not too. Why tell us you cut children's hair in the first place??? Or if too busy say so. Definitely not returning here.

I’ve been going to joseph’s for at least 10 years. I’ve always struggled to find a salon because my hair is very long, very thick, and there is just so much of it. The people here are so welcoming and comfortable. The renos that were done in the salon are BEAUTIFUL, and I’ve always appreciated the fact that the stylists are always updating their training to remain relevant! The owner Joseph is so clearly committed to not only high quality but also a consistently amazing experience, and the entire team provides nothing short of that. I love this place!

Went to get highlights last week at this salon as I am a regular customer at this salon. Worst decision I've made, I showed the stylist (kinda) the color I wanted. She clearly did not see the picture properly as it is nowhere close to the color I wanted. I was still fine it until I went home and took a shower next day finding my hair to be damaged really badly. I moved to North York but I still chose Joseph's for my highlights and travelled 1 hour to get my hair damaged. I am changing my hair salon after this experience and will also tell my mom and sisters to go elsewhere.

Not a great experience. Bald guy cut my hair...didn't get his name because he never introduced himself. I think he needs a new profession. Washed my hair very roughly, so obviously it got very tangled. He proceeds to rip the brush through my hair from the top (how does a "professional" not know to start from the bottom????) Didn't check anything while he was cutting but I figured he would dry, straighten and then check over everything. Nope. Spends 5 minutes drying, it's still damp and wavy at the ends. Laziest "blow dry" I've ever had. No effort to smooth anything out and make it look polished. Then he starts taking the cape off and tells me "You're welcome". I was shocked at how little care he took. Had to straighten the ends myself once I got home, no surprise it was uneven. UPDATE: The owner called and agreed to refund me. He also offered to fix the job of the other stylist. He told me they were busy and short-staffed (not an acceptable excuse). He made things right so I recommend seeing him or one of the other stylists if you decide to go here.

DON'T GO HERE!!!! If I could give this place no stars I would...I went to this salon for the first time on Saturday. I was booked in with Kinda for a Colour and cut. I was greeted promptly when I arrived 10 minutes early. She seemed nice at first, I told her that I wanted to be all blonde. I had blonde on the ends and darker roots, she said no problem and recommended that I tone my blonde a level darker to compliment my skin, I said sure. So firstly she grabbed the colour protecter stuff they put around the hairline..without caping me which in turn dripped the OILY product on my white shirt and jeans and ruined them. Then applied the bleach all over my roots then let it sit on my head for over an hour then applied more and had me wait longer. The whole salon was talking Arabic the entire time around me causing me to feel very uncomfortable as I had no clue what they were saying. So Kinda finally washes the bleach out and as she is washing my hair she gets water all in my ears and on my face...and her response was "I told you to lean back" so blaming me that it happened meanwhile she did not say that and even if she did why would you start with the water seeing that I was not leaned back enough? I then had to wait for awhile for the toner which was fine, then her son washed the toner out...he was young and very nice but he splashed water all over my face as well but he was very apologetic which in turn I told him please do not worry. There is a difference when someone owns up to the things that they do. I then go sit in the chair for her to cut and style my hair...I then notice I had yellowish parts in some spots where I could obviously tell the bleach did not lift and I pointed it out to her she very defensively said "No honey, its beige it looks nice" she then told me she could tone my hair again to one blonde colour all over??...I was confused but did not know what to do so said ok...so back to the sink I went where I sat uncomfortably while everyone was finishing up, closing down shop. Talking Arabic again. She then barely cut my hair and then began to blow dry...I could still see the yellow but did not want to say anything, I just wanted out of there at this point. I also noticed my hair had snapped a bit on top as I could see some of my hair sticking up, but again i felt rushed and uncomfortable. So they charged me 226$ and I gave a 40$....I left there realizing I had not met my forever stylist. So fast forward to Sunday night I had a shower and as I was washing my hair, hair was coming out in chunks (see attached photo) I had plans Monday where I had to look semi decent so the only thing I could do was cut my hair as short as my bangs so I now have a very short pixie cut. I called the salon Tuesday morning at 10:04 am to be exact telling them I would like to talk to the owner and they said he will be in a 1:00pm...I said ok could you please get him to call me...no phone call all day so I decided to call at 7:06pm and the owner answered and then tried to tell me he called 30 mins ago... (he did not call, thats a complete lie) not sure why people think in this day and age they can lie about that but ok...also i have a message machine he should have left me a message. so then I tell him what happened and he was saying " I find it hard to believe that would happen because we used 20 developer and we use only the best products and Olaplex. I do not think they did. Can we please understand here that I have a pixie haircut as a result of this and I paid close to 300$ right off the bat instead of blaming me.. he should have said please come in and I will take care of you...he only said that after I said that I was going to be writing a bad review. I do not feel comfortable ever stepping back into that salon and as much as I would like to have my hair fixed and not be charged...I will just go to another place and pay more money. Also the place was dirty and they use the same towels on different clients. You can find something better!! Not sure why there are so many good reviews thats why i chose this place! NEVER AGAIN

I just had my hair done here for the first time, and I love it! My hair is very curly and thick and I came in wanting it to be more manageable. I got keratin treatment to make it less frizzy and a trim. I am so happy about the result! I've had keratin many places but this is the best result, and the product smells nice like chocolate and doesn't sting your eyes. I highly recommend for curly girls :)

I have been coming to Joseph for awhile. He always does an amazing job on my haircut & colour. He is very professional and listens to customers wants and needs. He is always happy to provide customers with suggestions/recommendations which I find very helpful when I am not sure what I want to do with my hair. I find the salon is clean and in a good location. They are always able to accommodate me when I call to make a booking, even if it's last minute. Joseph has a very fun & light hearted personality which makes him easy to talk to. I didnt think they would take me because they were so busy but they actually took me in and i got the best highlights and colour and cut in my life. This was my first time getting my hair cut and colored after Covid! I was nervous coming into Joseph, but I was very impressed by their sanitation procedures and amazing service. Everyone was wearing masks and the chairs were sanitized and wiped down after each client. Even the scissors and hair brush were sanitized before my hair cut! I felt comfortable during the whole process and I would reccomend anyone to visit the salon if they are thinking of getting a professional cut during Covid times!

I went to Joseph's Salon to get my ears pierced, and had a bad experience. When I sat on the chair, a lady was trying to place the pen mark on my ear, and she touched and rubbed my ear without washing her hands. When the guy came to pierce my ear, he was already touching someone else's hair and did not bother to wash his hands before piercing. This place is not clean at all, and I don't recommend coming here if hygiene is a problem.

I have been reading some of the reviews written about Joseph's and the negative ones make me think are those people confusing the salon with another one???? I am the first to confess I am difficult and particular in what I want and have been going to Joseph for over 10 years and have had nothing but good experiences. Joseph and his staff are professional and experienced with different types of hair and styles.I travel a great deal and no one colours my hair but Joe and I get complimented on it wherever I go. Erica is someone I go to for cut and blow dry and have never been disappointed she is a true gem. Its an okay place. I took my son there after a family friend told us they frequent the place for their kids and their pricing is$15 for a kids cut. Now they're charging $25+tax and tip, which would be fine if they did a bang up job but the haircut was alright and the finishing touches were lacking. The hair length was uneven on the part and looked more like I cut my sons hair during covid than a professional cut. I probably won't go back again but your experience may vary.

Accessible location, easy appointment setting process, good prices and definitely value for money. The hair stylist was little rushed with hair wash, and rough when brushing the hair before the cut. She did offer good advise on what hair cut would suit my face and did a great job with the cut and styling overall. Hence the 4 stars. They aren't practicing proper safety protocols in lieu of Covid-19 i.e distancing between clients and disinfecting before each new client enters, although I did see disinfectants on the counter and distancing stickers on the ground, it doesn't seem like they're enforcing to too much. I'll definitely go again,but might book one of the guys instead, they were far more gentler with their clients hair.

I went in for a balayage style on July 4th. One of my girlfriend’s whose hair I loved, recommended Kinda, and so I went with her. In short, she did an amazing job. It’s so hard to find a hairdresser that knows what they’re doing, and Kinda knew how to do everything and there was no damage to my hair. It was perfect. She is also very sweet and I had a great conversation with her. I love my results from Kinda and I will for sure go back to her again.

Highly recommend Jospeh’s! My favourite hair salon!! I’ve been to several salons around the GTA and I haven’t been more happy with the service and the hair results. They did my friends wedding (makeup and hair for the bride and all her bridesmaids) and they all looked incredible! Personally, I tried to get the ashy blonde colour for over 2 years. Salons would tell me I need to come back 6-7 times and I still did not achieve the colour that I wanted. With ONE trip to Joseph’s salon he got me the colour I wanted. As long as you have patience, they will make the impossible possible when it comes to your hair. They have also newly renovated their salon. It is very beautiful & one of the cleanest. I have heard no complaints- whether it is for myself or any of the people who I’ve taken there:)!

I booked an appointment before 3 days to specifically get Joseph to do my hair and I got a teenager boy to do my hair and it looked terrible! I went back to him to fix the mistake and he told me to come back at 6 and he said it him self he’ll do it but I got someone else to do it, And he mad me brush and blow dry my own hair. And when I wanted to pay he told me a different price than he told me on the phone, I went home soo mad. The salon was discusting! Not clean at all.

From my experience at Joseph's, I could tell how skilled and co-ordinated the stylists were with customers. I booked a first-time appointment for a Saturday morning and arrived on time. I was told to take a seat where my stylist would be working with me. After 15 minutes, still not there. Now I would have given a 4 star review if I had been completely ignored but that was not the case at Joseph's. I was approached by 2 other workers, one to inform me of the lateness and to apologize for the wait and another, I believe her name was Sanela, kindly offered to get me set up so my stylist could start right away. My stylist, Barbara, got to work as soon as she arrived and had given me such beautiful caramel highlights on my black hair. The process did take a while but it was understandable considering the length and natural colour of my hair. Throughout the wait, I also noticed the great multi-tasking and efficient skills the stylists had. Barbara had been able to work with 3 other customers during the wait times for bleaching and colouring my hair, which I thought was a smart use of time. I'd also like to compliment how nicely everyone seemed to get along with their clients as I heard various conversations going on and I could tell how familiar and comfrotable some stylists were with their clients which goes to show what a great job Joseph's team does in taking care of their customers. Overall, a beautiful job was done and I will definitely be a returning customer!

I went to this salon to get highlights, I won't say the name of who did my hair but its absolutely horrible. I always refresh highlights and she acted like it wasn't possible. I have very light ash blonde highlights and now my hair is YELLOW. It looks brassier than it did before I went in! She asked if I was happy with it and I said yes because of the fact that it took 4 HOURS to complete and I had to leave and go to work! My appointment was at 10 and SHE was late, and I was out of there by 2pm. Absolutely ridiculous prices for the service you get. I had to go to a beauty store to buy toner and fix it myself. The woman who did my hair was very strange, said uncomfortable things, even going as far as asking me if its okay if my haircut was uneven? WHO asks that? I honestly think she was high on something because I've never heard of a hair stylist asking that let alone not know how to do highlights. Now that I toned it myself after spending $175 for my hair to look yellow, it looks good. Pretty sad. Please save your money and go to a different salon! I will never come back here!

I was new to the area and wanted to try a new salon in my area. I googled some salons and found Joseph’s. I read the reviews and was impressed. I went in for a ombré color and cut and style. I was. Rey impressed that my hair was not dry and still stayed smooth. They used olaplex and it made it so nice. I also booked an appointment last week for an updo with roger and makeup last week and I was so impressed and I felt so special. The salon is clean and professional and the manager made me feel special and even gave my a extra long hair wash with a massage lol. Professional and I would highly recommend this salon to my friends. Even the decor is fresh and modern. Love the wood entrance with black marble tiles. Never saw that anywhere.

This is the best salon in Mississauga. I went to Josephs to get a cartilage piercing and earlobe piercings. I was getting cartilage piercings on both ears but Joseph recommended it to get it on one ear. This guy gave me honest advice even though it resulted him in making less $$. He’s very professional and makes suggestions when you are at a loss. I went back to get my root touch up and highlights a few days after that. Joseph, Roger, and another young lady worked really hard to transform my hair. I went it with yellow brassy tones and they gave me the best hair transformation ever. These guys really know their stuff when it comes to hair and piercings. Joseph and Roger stayed an hour after closing hours just to work on my hair. Joseph gave me a haircut that really suits up with my face. the team at Jospehs will work with you in figuring out what haircolour/style will suit you. Overall, these guys are amazing! I've been looking for a salon for the longest time and my search is over. I'm in love with my hair. Thank you so much. I will definitely be coming back. Already recommended it to all my friends

I recently tried Joseph’s Hair salon after moving to the area. I did some research and I saw that they had such good reviews. I have been 4 times now and have tried a few different stylists and have been so happy every time. I tried ombré and I have never been so happy with how natural it turned out and how smooth my hair, its not dry at all, great product. They use olaplex even they recommend product for me to use at home and the manager said if any of the product you don’t like you can always exchange it or return it which I never have that kind of offer before. I was invited to a wedding last weekend and I did an updo with Roger and makeup and it was amazing. I actually looked better than the bride lol. They made me feel so special. Very clean and professional. Convenient location. Highly recommend

It was my first experience with Joseph,s. I called to let them know that I am going to be 45mn late at my appointment, and asked if I can still come. The person on the phone said that it was not a problem. When I arrived I was almost yelled at because I was late! The place was filthy with hair everywhere, but really everywhere! I also had to tell my hairdresser to remove hair from the brush she was going to use on me. It was full of hair from previous customers! I still give 3.5 stars to my hairdresser Barbara even though she did not do what I wanted in the beginning. Indeed, she is very pleasant and corrected the style on dried hair. Overall the service does not match te price tag.

So unprofessional! I got a deep condition.... they put me in the chair and completely forgot about me. I Have curly 3c hair and I felt like stylist didn't know what to do with it. She got really careless when cutting my hair. Didn't even know any basic techniques. And finally when blow drying my hair they had two people working on my head. Both were pulling me in different directions! The only thing good I walked out with was that the deep conditioner work well. But my hair cut was a mess. I seriously thought this place would be like the hamilton location ( very amazing ). But this place is complete garage and overly priced !

I also have curly hair and I am always scared to go to regular salons because not everyone can handle curly hair. went a bit drastic in hair cut today, alot shorter than I usually go. I showed Joseph pictures of my vision and he followed through beyond my expectations. The salon is very busy and to me that speaks for itself in the quality that they put out. They are all very professional and easy to speak to. They listen to your requests and offers advice as needed. I have and will definitely recommend this salon to anyone looking.

I've been going to Joseph's for the past 16 years and Joseph and his team are incredible. From the moment you walk in you get greeted with a smile and everyone from reception to the person who washes your hair to the assistants and the person who cuts and styles are top notch in their service. Joseph colours and does my balayage/ombre and cuts my hair and he and his staff style it for me. They also do my daughter's cut and blowfly. I would not go anywhere else and highly recommend them to anyone who wants a great salon. I always get compliments on my hair because I go to Joseph's! You can really feel good that the management is very attentive and always makes sure their customers are happy or they do what it takes to make sure they leave happy :)

I am new to the area 4 months ago and I was looking for a good hair salon .I walked into Joseph's in Erin Mills Town Centre and they took me right away. They had excellent reviews so I decided to try it out. Honestly they deserve a 5 star because I have been to so many places and my colour was amazing and beautiful. I always get itchy when I get my colour done elsewhere but I didn't get that at Joseph's .The salon is well organized and clean. The salon has new decor and I bought some products they used in my hair and I love them . Reasonably priced and all the hairstylists I have done a blow-dry with were amazing. Highly skilled and professional . If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

horrible. my mom went to get her hair done. specifically asked for an ash blonde. has very very short hair keep in mind. at the end of the service my moms hair turned out literally orange. He gave her a horrible haircut and did not bother styling it what so ever. charged her 200 dollers for absolutely nothing. she has very short hair it should of not cost her as much as it did. i would rate it a 0 star if i could. rip off.

I went here for the first time to get highlights and my hair cut for my wedding. Roger did a phenomenal job and my hair turned out even better than what I envisioned. I got champaign blonde highlights with chocolate brown lowlights. The placement of the highlights was impeccable and the cut is one of the best cuts I've ever gotten. This place is a hidden jam! Thanks to this salon I have long multi-hued blonde hair - and my natural hair is black. Other hairdressers (and I've been through a few!) fried my hair because they just didn't have the experience or skill. The colorists and stylists here are outstanding in their skill and artistry. They were able to achieve what no one else could. The ladies there are super warm and friendly so their patience with kids' haircuts and their pre-wedding styling is also above par. Their new renovation makes the interior of this salon truly match the skills of its outstanding team. Its a blue-chip establishment through and through.

Explained to me the process, listened to my concerns and politely reassured me that my hair does need moisture treatments however, she chose the safest way to achieve what I requested and I love it! This salon has really kind people. I was just in the mall with my son and we didn’t notice that it was almost closing time. I really needed a haircut for the holiday and I usually see my regular barber for my fades at the barbers chair next door but they refused me. So I went to all the salons in the mall and they refused me too. On my way out the Tim Horton's entrance I noticed Joseph’s is still open and has clients inside. So I gave it a shot. I spoke to the manager and he took me and my son no problem with a big smile and said no worries, you’re more than welcome. Roger took care of us and I really have to say he cut me and my sons hair better than my own barber. I got so many compliments from everyone, especially my wife, about the fade he gave me and my son. They were the only salon that took us in, really patient and reasonably priced. Clean and professional. I would highly recommend as a first time client.

After a year of me playing hairdresser and trying to get the colour I always wanted. I finally give in and seek professional help. Yesterday I went to Joseph in Mississauga at Erin Mill Town Center . I did hear about them before, but I was bit nervous about it. I’m very picky about my hair and not so trusted with new people . But let me tell you I walked out with the biggest smile on my face from Joseph’s salon . Erica was the one I have apt with. She is absolutely amazing hairdresser. I have colour correction, new colour put on , trim and style . I knew walking into I might not get what I want it as it was hard to tell what was under my old colour and Erica told me that too . But to our surprise everything work out perfectly. Also I would like to give a credit to Joseph ( owner ) who was on call during my apt . To help out with the correction and the colour. I never saw service like that . You can see how much they care for their customers and want them get the best service. Which I did . I’m very please with the experience I have at Joseph.
