I went to this salon for the first time on Saturday and I could not be any more impressed with the service I received. The atmosphere in this salon is fun, light hearted- everyone was engaged in conversation and non stop laughter. The hair dresser I went to was named Krista. She was very kind, polite, asked me exactly what I wanted and the end result was nothing but amazing. While I was there all of the other hair dressers kept asking if I wanted anything to drink just proving how amazing the customer service at Flavio's really is. The best and most professional hair salon by far! All the hair stylists are very friendly and knowledgeable. Their customer service is fantastic and the owner Frank Corrente makes you feel so welcomed and valued. I went for first time for a haircut style and the one who washed my hair didn't even give me massage anytime, so it means that he didn't washed it coz my hair was still dirty and he saw it but didn't say nothing. After that he started cutting my hair and I had to tell him all what to do and showing him the pic but he didn't even had any idea about what he was doing, started cutting my hair with a scissor when it had to be with a machine so, nothing not even close to what I wanted... I'm so disappointed searching and searching I went there coz of those reviews here but they didn't even did a part of what I really wanted. Never again ????

Im really glad i found this place because its the best visit ive ever experienced. THANKYOU TRACIE!! She was really good with me and even got my hair to the exact perfect color i wanted. I went from an dark burgundy red to a very bright red!!!! I LOVED IT!!!! Exactly what i wanted!!!!! Im really happy!!! And everyone else was friendly. Hello everyone, It was my first visit at Flavio's today. After seeing all these wonderful reviews, I thought I'd give it a shot. The next thing was, it's also my first soft perm, first any type of perm. I was assigned Maureen and she was wonderful. I dyed my hair myself and I wasn't even sure this could be done. Maureen wasn't so sure but we had a great discussion. She analysed my hair and took up the challenge. It turned out amazing. She was very accommodating and friendly. It was a pretty busy Monday morning at the salon. Everyone seemed to be having a grand old time. Thanks for a great first visit ????

From the moment that I walked in the door at Flavio's House of Hair Design. I felt like I was at home Laura was my stylist. She had the warmest smile and make me feel so comfortable. I was very nervous of getting my hair done because I never got what I wanted, And since I was chopping off my hair I was even more scared. My boyfriend came with me and they made him fee like home, offering him drinks and keeping him involved. I showed Laura the pictures that I wanted. My hair was a mess, it was uneven and looked like I had fallen down the stairs with two pairs of scissors After it was all said and done I was in tears(of joy) because it was the first time that I left the chair and felt beautiful. Came here looking like a pumpkin, the treatment, respect and attentiveness of the staff made me feel like I am in good hands and that whatever was done can and will be repaired. Colour professional Diana was BEYOND amazing, she's thorough, gentle, attentive and experienced..she considered my concern for pricing and worked around it with me!! 100% would recommend this salon and I am 100% coming back!!!

I usually don't write reviews, but felt the need to especially after reading all the positive reviews which enticed me to come here in the first place. I walked into this salon for the first time with dark brown black hair and asked for a subtle balayage. The first thing I said was no orange or copper, I wanted light brown/blonde with ash tones. While the majority of my hair looked "ok," my hair dresser picks the tiniest piece of my long bangs and of course it was coloured an awful orange brass copper, she tried to fix it but it was so bad that when I got home I cut it off. I was so rushed, my dresser was working on another client at the same time as myself and asked to move around to 4 different chairs. I had toner in my hair and was asked to move out of my chair so another dresser could squeeze in a quick wash. Very disappointed to say the least. I don't recommend this salon nor will I return.

I decided I needed a change and luckily I was able to get an appointment for today. I am so happy I chose here and from the time you walk in, you are treated very special I was paired up with Dianne M and I explained what I wanted, showed her a few pictures and she knew exactly what to do. I was only going for a haircut but then saw her color and knew I had to take the plunge. Wow and wow! Amazing colour and haircut and to top it off did eyebrow tint and it was a dramatic difference. Dianne is truly a gem and talented stylist and colorist. She spent over 2 hours with me and I never once felt I was being rushed. Thank you so very much for making me feel beautiful again. Finally being able to get a haircut after COVID was a big deal! There was only one place that I wanted to call and that was Flavio's! Maria was able to accommodate me in their busy schedule and greeted me with warmth after the long shutdown. When Flavios reopened after Stage 2, I was impressed with the protocol that management put in place to protect clients and staff especially in the small colouring and shampoo area. Unfortunately, I returned to Flavios on the morning of Aug 28 and saw that they had seriously over booked their clients! They completely lost control of the number of clients and staff using the colouring and shampoo areas. There was absolutely no physical distancing due to the high traffic of staff working in the area and clients passing through. In fact, I clearly saw 7 clients in capes (not staff) brushed past my knees as I was getting my hair washed!

Im am absolutely in LOVE with Laura at this salon!!! I have been getting my hair done for the past 8 years, and have had the pleasure of meeting Laura roughly 2 years ago. I can honestly say she is the best hairstylist I have EVER been to! When I first started seeing Laura, my hair was extremely weak, damaged, and had a ton of breakage. Since then, Laura has completely turned my hair around! There has been many things she recommended for me throughout this process, including a brand of products called #kerastase , which have all been miraculous! Laura truly cares about my hair and its health, and will always take the time to ensure absolute best results! If you haven't been to this salon yet, I highly recommend booking an appointment with her as soon as possible!

Superb haircut. I've been to quite a few Oriental parlors and indian hair stylists but never has anyone done as good a job and to my Satisfaction than at Flavio's. It's a great place if you want to style and experiment with your hair. Otherwise you should stick to your regular salon.

The environment feels relaxed and happy, one where you feel pampered and cared for. Most of all, I love my stylist, Laura, who has cut and coloured my hair for about six years. She is simply the best!! Recently she helped me do a temporary transition to see if I wanted to go back to my natural grey.She was fabulous, gave wonderful suggestions and allowed me to experiment for about eight weeks, after which I chose to go back to colouring (for now).She has been so supportive of my choices and I always get compliments about my hair and colour. I would highly recommend you give her a try! She is highly competent as well as a lovely person to spend time with!

This was my first outing, just for me, since the pandemic. The staff was gracious and helpful. The salon was spotless and each station was continously cleaned and sanitized as each client left. Frank , my stylist, was great. I had not been to a salon in over a year and I was in desperate need of a cut and style. For the first time that I can remember I told him to do what he felt would suit me and I let him do his magic. He gave me a style I loved, easy to manage and it suits me. I had the most amazing balayage and haircut done here and will definitely be back! My hair is typically difficult to tone as it’s dark but I was so pleased with my combination mushroom tones of blonde and brown. Love, love, love it! Besides the amazing hair, there’s enough sanitizer there to fill a pool and staff is always steaming everything so clients feel it’s a safe place to be.

Great and friendly staff. Was able to get an appointment no problem but they are not allowing walk ins, so do call and they will accommodate you. First time at the salon, and it was SPOTLESS. All staff were in safety gear. Thank you Flavio’s and staff.
