If you haven't visited a History Barbershop in Midland or Barrie you are missing out on the Male equivalent of a pampering. They do a great job giving you a great experience with your hair cut and their stores are a cool type 50's throwback barbershop. The also have unique hair products as well the staff a freaking fantastic.

Best barber shop in town ! From day one of history barber shop it has always been my go to for haircuts! I typically get a faded cut with a straight shave to finish it off. All the staff there are so welcoming and personable, I strongly recommend stopping in to get a cut. Great atmosphere full of awesome people.

BE ON TIME! Had an appointment at the Midtown shop, was 9 min late, waited 5 min as the barber wasn't in the shop, he then came in and told me I was too late for the appointment. Had driven 45 min and there was heavy traffic. Too bad bud.... See ya. So, won't be going to midland to get a hair cut ever again. The hipster working at midtown is a douche!! AVOID this place!

Man O man. I was recommend to go to this barber shop. What an experience. Never went to a barber shop that sold you a BEER while you get a cut. And the staff, VERY impressed. The price was a shade higher then the chain places, but to me the service and respect was well worth the price. P.S. actually best hair cut I have had in a long time. I will be back for another hair cut.

First time trying this place out, was very hesitant/nervous (as my barber is located in Cambridge and have not allowed anyone cut my hair besides him). I was presently surprised by the professionalism of the place as I was seated with Eli - who took his time to listen to my needs and WOW, what a haircut. As nervous as I was, he out did himself and provided me with such an amazing haircut, he hit it out of the park . Since I will be staying in Midland for the next two months, I feel comfortable enough to go every week or so to see Eli. Thx for the amazing haircut my friend, you saved me a 2 hour trip to Cambridge every couple of weeks :)

Best shop around!! I recently visited this barbershop for my first time, and I was spoken to immediately and offered complimentary water and a comfy seat while I waited for my turn. I'm fairly particular about my haircuts but Josh had no problem with giving me the hair cut I wanted and did a 10/10 job. It was the best haircut I've gotten in a long time, I recommend asking for him next time your in need of a skilled cut. I'll definitely be back.

This is a top notch place. I came as a walk in having never been there before. They had me looking great and even touched up my brows and beard at the same time. I usually go to a stylist but I will be going back to these guys. Price was right too

Booking online was a breeze, and the site was very transparent about who was available today, what times I could pick, etc. More importantly though, the haircut turned out legitimately as the best I've had in memory. I had Michelle, and maybe it's just a product of my generally going to whatever salon is nearest to me when I'm travelling, but the end result is a league above what I'm used to getting. Thank you so much Michelle! If I lived anywhere near here you'd have a regular from now on, but instead I've got a new benchmark for haircuts to compare to. If you're lucky enough to live around here you should give this place a shot.

I’ve been going to the midland location almost every two weeks since the grand opening. I’ve had my haircut by almost every barber that has walked through the doors and I have never been let down. The customer service is next to none and the cuts are even better. Absolutely awesome place to go hangout for an hour as the atmosphere is awesome and theres not a single negative individual in there.

They messed up my hair twice and my beard as well on my last visit. Overcharged me on both visits. Good place to buy beard care products. But much better barbers in town. (try Joseph's Hair Design on 2nd street or Striker)
