Our family has recently relocated to Simcoe county, with any move finding a new stylist is always the hardest. After trying many stylists I was referred to Izzy at Hair Studio in Midland. Very happy to say the search for my new stylist is over - Izzy did an amazing job with my short hair cut. I am over the top impressed with Izzy's attention to detail, and also offers suggestions that you may like as well. The studio is new, fresh and clean. Izzy has been doing my hair for years now, and I will never go to anyone else. I have medium brown natural hair that we keep a very light blonde and it's super healthy and never over processed. I showed up not knowing what I really wanted for my hair. All I knew is I wanted to dye it. After talking with Izzy, she instantly gave me some ideas of what would look nice. I initially thought blues, but we veered away from that and we ended up going a deep purple. I initially had thoughts of having the lavender, and to make my colour last we went a deep purple so that it would fade nicely as time went on. Definitely the best bang for your buck. Izzy is great at what she does and is very personable. She has you in mind, and listens to what you want. She also gives out pointers to maintain you hair. Ultimately, she is a hair stylist, but she definitely gives you the knowledge you need to maintain your hair at home. Definitely love her and highly recommend. This was my first time ever getting my hair professionally coloured and wow, what a difference. The price point is absolutely fair for your end result. You’re looking at around $150-200 for colour depending on what you do - totally worth it in the long run.

I love Izzy so much I would probably follow her anywhere. I've bewn going to her for years always travelling no less than an hour to get to her. Now is no different. I have short hair and there is nowhere for a hairdresser to hide with that. A good cut looks good and lives well giving me time before needing a clean up. Izzy is the best I've had so....like I say, I would follow her anywhere. Oh and the salon is beautiful too! Clean, organized, comfortable and styled perfectly...Hair Studio Midland is perfect!

The salon is gorgeous and so is Izzy's work. She is a Wizard from ice blonde to chocolate brunette to any colour of the rainbow! She is excellent with styling, cutting, colouring, and colour correcting. There really isn't anything Izzy can't do to make you love your hair. Not only will you receive the highest quality of work you will also receive the best customer service possible. Izzy is friendly, outgoing, and you will feel 100% comfortable and confident in her hands! If you haven't switched to this salon already, you really need to.
