The hairdresser here does an amazing job with men's hair. I like to keep my hair short with a high fade and he perfects this. Also, they give a nice shampoo/scalp massage with tea tree oil!

I may rock a relatively simple hairstyle, but I still appreciate good craft and care. The gentleman at T & K Hair Salon gives the most thorough cuts I've ever experienced -- he really takes his time to make sure there's not a hair out of place. You'll never feel rushed out the door, and if you have a more complex style or request I am positive they won't just give you the Cliffs Notes version of what you asked. You will be well taken care of!

Been going to TNK for at least 8 years now. I live in Florida, but come home every summer - I wait as long as I can to get my hair cut here! He's a master with the scissors - it's amazing to watch him work. The scalp massage is definitely a highlight.

I came here on the recommendation of a sweet gal I work with. I walked into the little place-and this is where you can't judge a book by it's cover-it was a sparse place almost like a barber shop. The gentleman asked me the usual questions and then commenced by washing my hair. This is where things got amazing. He massaged my scalp, but not in the typical all over way. He pressed on accupressure points that relaxed me more than anything in years. I'm getting drowsy just thinking about it. Then he gave me a beautiful, blunt bob, my usual but it's really hard to get right. It's even, curls under and is just a high quality cut. Thirty dollars. I will be going back next time and may get a short cut. I recommend this place to you if you want a really good haircut for a reasonable price

Been twice for a shampoo, cut and blow dry. I've been really happy with the cut both times -- hangs great and he's a pro at a good blow out. The head massage you get with the shampoo is out of this world!!! The salon is not fancy at all but the hairdresser and his wife are really warm and friendly. It's been easy to get in for last-minute appointments. For $40, tax and tip in, I feel like I've found a hidden gem!

TNK Hair Salon Finally, after 7months of being here in Halifax Nova Scotia, I have found a hidden gem— A true hair artist????????. The Korean couple who own the shop went above and beyond to put time into his & her craft and care, it definitely shows. The husband(Chil Soo) does the haircut and the wife(Grace) does the colouring and styling. It was the best experience I’ve had at a hair salon. Reasonable price, salon is not fancy quite low key however the service is outstanding. I highly recommend this place to my friends and colleague here in Halifax????????. I am grateful for being accompanied by my daughter Sam????. I needed some opinion from her regarding colours and hair styles????.

Don't let the 'casual' surroundings deter you... Grace is a master stylist with over 30 years experience, but she is also up to date on all the latest trends. She always gives me something different, that I would never have thought of, but never too far outside my comfort zone. She also helps me understand how to style it myself at home. I hear she is also wonderful with colour. Prices very reasonable. Her husband also looks to be a wonderful hair cutter.

Fantastic haircut!! I just discovered this place (thanks internet). Chil Soo who is the male hairstylist cut my hair. He is really exceptional! Excellent technical skills. 20 minutes later he had given me the best hair cut i have had in years :) Had a nice shampoo and scalp massage for the price, very reasonable. Salon is not fancy, quite low key; has nice paintings by a local artist on the walls for sale. Grace the female owner is lovely too. They speak Korean if needed (I don't). A+ !
