I was living in NS for about a year trying everything I can to find a hairdresser that can do black hair. I was working and in came the owner and I just kept asking about her hair it was so nice. I've been going religiously every 2 weeks for 2 years (except when they were closed due to covid). Not only are they amazing with hair and SUPER affordable, but it feels like a family.

It was my first time getting my hair treated, cut, and styled in a salon in years. I personally stay away from hair salons in Nova Scotia as I never felt they could treat my natural hair properly. That being said, I never felt more welcomed and so taken care of at Crowning Glory. I would definitely recommend this hair salon to anyone with any hair type. They are highly professional and the stylist are creative and brilliant. Ask for Kayle, she is amazing!

Very strange salon, a lot of religious stuff up on walls and Christian music playing . $50 for a haircut on Wyse rd , is a bit of a stretch. I expect that somewhere downtown Halifax.

did my hair and said it would last for months but the style came out in two weeks and gave me a haircut instead of trim leaving my head with patches all over, dont trust to cut your hair
