Big shout out goes to Wright Hair & Co salon! I called the salon on April 1, hoping to see if there are any cancellations for the day, because Ontario is entering province-wide shutdown on April 3 and April 2 is the holiday. They didn’t have any availability and I started losing hope that I will not be able to get a haircut for a month... and then they call me! During the holiday! They said that they reopened for last-minute clients and invited me to come! They made my day with their phone call, and then professionalism, positivity and exceptional service! Hello everyone! At Wright hair & Co the atmosphere is very chill, welcoming, warming etc. All the ladies there seem very down to earth, talkative, and overall amazing. I went to Wright hair & co on august 21/21 . When going in I didn’t have many expectations expect for my hair to look somewhat presentable. As you can see (first 2 images) my hair about “middle” length and a bit un-even, along with akward bangs growing out. This was due to me getting fed up over quarantine and chopping it myself. The third image is the finished results of my hair appointment. For my hair appointment I had Julie. As said earlier this was my first time here and I was excited to finally see someone with the professional skills to fix “the mess”. Needless to say Julie was amazing ! When I first came I was consulted and we (Julie and I) talked about what I wanted . The reference I have here was a copper-y reddish tone (4th picture) with the length a bit below my shoulders. After consultation I went into the shop and the journey began. The journey included a lot of steps, that were so worth it. While doing my hair Julie was friendly, professional, and worked well with my suggestions.We started talking off the bat, which I appreciated a lot. As I said earlier she is professional and If you don’t feel like talking , which I understand, Julie won’t “hold that against you”, she’ll understand as well. Some examples of her working with my needs would be , during consultation, rinsing the hair (avoid water from my ears), and making sure I am calm and not hurting while brushing the hair. My appointment approximately took 3.5 hours (3 & half hours). This was due to my thick and dark hair… so obviously it would take more time (which I didn’t mind). When finished with my appointment I was, and still am absolutely in love with my hair .I can successfully say Wright hair & Co is an amazing place to get your hair done and it is now my “go - to” salon. I will be returning!

Amazing place!! Carol does all my waxing and never disappoints! She uses hard wax which is less painful than strip wax, which makes waxing more enjoyable. I didnt even see dust on the baseboards, to me that shows their dedication to keeping such a high standard of cleanliness. My hair was cut by Ashley, she is a master of her trade. Even though i really had no idea what i wanted she just seemed to know what i wanted! my hair looks awesome! I have found my salon. Its either Wright or its wrong.

Ashley did a wonderful job! This was my first time with her and I can't say enough about her! She's wonderful to chat with, watching her work with my hair was mesmerizing - it shows how much she loves to do hair...as if it's therapy to her. She doesn't make you feel rushed. Also, to top it off...amazing head massage. She doesn't fool around with a quick shampoo. It felt like I got the spa treatment that day! Ashley gave me low lights, some highlights, and beach waves. The curls lasted me for days - helped with the holiday parties! The staff themselves were sweet and offered help wherever need. Great teamwork at that salon! You can tell they all love their jobs!

I first met Ashley at Wright Hair back in 2015, after another hairdresser had given me horrible tiger striped highlights. I looked so bad and it was going to take some serious skill to fix it. A co-worker who had beautiful blonde hair recommended Ashley, and I booked right away. Ashley was fully booked but came into work before opening hours to do my hair. So accommodating!! That appointment was the best experience I had ever had with a hairdresser. Not only did she make my hair look amazing, regardless of the horrible shape it was in before, but she was so friendly and hilarious. We had awesome conversation the whole time. I have been seeing Ashley ever since. I now carry around her business cards because I get asked daily who does my hair. She has given me the most amazing platinum blonde, and I always recommend her. Even living in BC now, I wait until I’m back in London to get my hair done by her, because she is the best! Also, Wright Hair & Co. is an amazing salon as a whole. First time going to Wright Hair because my usual hairdresser was booked until end of August so I thought I’d try them as all I needed was a tone. I went in to just tone out the redness of hair which was looking very red/brown. I didn’t have time to get it tried so this morning, I go to straighten my hair and the color is almost black concentrating specifically in my roots. Obviously, this is not what I asked for and now I need to pay extra money to do box dye it lighter. It’s just frustrating because all I asked for was to tone the hair and I was told it would go half a shade darker and I can promise you it’s beyond that. Safe to say, I will never be returning there.

Finding a new hair-stylist can be difficult and feel uncomfortable, when you move. In 2017 I had Wright Hair & Co. recommended to me by a friend who is an out of town stylist. She specifically suggested someone who specialized in short hair. Ashley has been my stylist since 2018. I often get compliments on my hairstyle. It's easy to style and I feel great too! AND I really appreciate the fabulous head massage with their wash and conditioner! It's 2nd to none! I have also had colour treatments that were fantastic and lasted a long time! Well worth my investment! I really know I have a great hairstylist when someone who lives in my community stopped me to let me know that "whoever does your hair does a great job!" I feel like family when I'm there and they have a wonderful team to support that team culture that appears to be effortless! So much so, that now my Mom goes to Emilie and my daughter goes to Spenser. My daughter said it's the best cut and style she has ever had! Thank you Wright Hair & Co. and team!

I wanted a change and was looking for about shoulder length hair that had some texture, layers, curtain bangs, and was able to be secured in a pony tail. She was very attentive by cutting just slightly below where I wanted and always double checking to make sure I was ok to continue. The pictures are of my head and hair. I stand by my review. And Gigi is a nickname obviously. I am a verified Google User. Your offer to fix my hair was not reasonable after 2 visits and I am out of pocket $182. But thanks for responding. I have submitted a request to Google Maps to keep my review on and that it is real. *** Asked for blonde and had many many pictures of my hair pre covid to show. Explained I did NOT want, ash, silver, low lights, but blonde as in bright, beautiful almost platinum blonde. I also said no toner. My hair was basically all ash, horrible and dull when she finished. I was so upset. Manager or owner emails me after I asked for refund and said that the stylist spent alot of time on my hair. Excuse me, but I paid for that time! Never again. I am now once again perfectly, beautifully blonde after going somewhere else. Far right and far left is my blonde I wanted and now have, and middle pic is what Wright's did.

I have been getting my hair done by Ashley multiple times and I always loved it. She nailed the perfect blonde everytime. I went recently and asked for the usual “white blonde” and I can home and noticed my hair was yellow in multiple areas where she missed putting the toner. I messaged her and went back in to have it retoned. When I got home my hair was full and grey/ blue looking. I thought it would maybe fade after a few washes like it usually does but I didn’t . So I messaged her again asked her to fix it again as I was still not happy with it . She replied saying ..... “Hi Allyson, I am sorry to hear you’re not happy with your hair. I have done all I can to satisfy your requests. Unfortunately I am unable to re-do your hair. I wish you luck in finding a stylist to meet your needs.” So if you are looking for a good stylist I do not recommend going to see Ashley since she is not consistent, and just tells you to find another stylist to fix her mistakes in a “nice way” very unprofessional!! Wish I could add photos to share!
